Ezequiel 11

1 And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
1 Além disso, o Espírito me levantou, e me trouxe à porta leste da casa do SENHOR, a qual olha em direção ao leste; e eis à porta do portão vinte e cinco homens, entre os quais eu vi a Jaazanias, filho de Azur, e a Pelatias, filho de Benaia, príncipes do povo.
2 And He saith unto me, `Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
2 Então, ele me disse: Filho do homem, estes são os homens que maquinam o mal, e dão perverso conselho nesta cidade;
3 who are saying, It [is] not near -- to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we the flesh.
3 os quais dizem: Isso não está próximo; edifiquemos casas; esta cidade é o caldeirão, e sejamos a carne.
4 Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.`
4 Portanto, profetiza contra eles; profetiza, ó filho do homem.
5 And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, `Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known.
5 E o Espírito do SENHOR caiu sobre mim, e me disse: Fala: Assim diz o SENHOR: Assim haveis falado, ó casa de Israel, porque eu conheço as coisas que vêm à vossa mente, cada uma delas.
6 Ye multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.
6 Multiplicastes os vossos mortos nesta cidade, e enchestes as suas ruas de mortos.
7 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Your wounded whom ye placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And you he hath brought out from its midst.
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Vossos mortos, que vós deitastes no meio dela, esses são a carne, e esta cidade é o caldeirão; mas eu vos tirarei do meio dela.
8 A sword ye have feared, And a sword I bring in against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
8 Temestes a espada, e eu trarei uma espada sobre vós, diz o Senhor DEUS.
9 And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done among you judgments.
9 E eu vos trarei para fora de seu meio, e vos entregarei nas mãos de estranhos, e executarei os meus juízos entre vós.
10 By the sword ye do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
10 Caireis pela espada, e eu vos julgarei na fronteira de Israel; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
11 It is not to you for a pot, Nor are ye in its midst for flesh, At the border of Israel I do judge you.
11 Esta cidade não será o vosso caldeirão, nem vós sereis a carne no meio dela; mas eu vos julgarei na fronteira de Israel;
12 And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you -- ye have done!`
12 e vós sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR, porque não andastes nos meus estatutos, nem executastes os meus juízos, mas fizestes segundo as maneiras dos pagãos que estão ao redor de vós.
13 And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry -- a loud voice -- and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.`
13 E sucedeu, quando eu profetizava, que Pelatias, filho de Benaia, morreu. Então, eu caí sobre a minha face, e clamei com alta voz, e disse: Ah! Senhor DEUS! Darás tu um fim total aos remanescentes de Israel?
14 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
14 Novamente, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
15 `Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel -- all of it, [are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah;
15 Filho do homem, teus irmãos, até teus irmãos, os homens de teu parentesco, e toda a casa de Israel completamente, são aqueles a quem os habitantes de Jerusalém disseram: Apartai-vos para longe do SENHOR; a nós esta terra é dada em possessão.
16 it [is] ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in.
16 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Embora eu os tenha lançado para longe entre os pagãos, e embora eu os tenha espalhado entre as nações, ainda assim, eu serei para eles como um pequeno santuário, nas regiões para onde eles virão.
17 Therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which ye have been scattered, And I have given to you the ground of Israel.
17 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Hei de ajuntar-vos do meio do povo, e vos reunirei fora das nações onde fostes espalhados, e vos darei a terra de Israel.
18 And they have gone in thither. And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations -- out of it.
18 E eles virão ali, e tirarão todas as suas coisas detestáveis dela e todas as suas abominações.
19 And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh.
19 E eu lhes darei um só coração, e colocarei um novo espírito dentro de vós; e tomarei o coração de pedra para fora da sua carne, e lhes darei um coração de carne;
20 So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God.
20 para que eles possam andar nos meus estatutos, e guardar as minhas ordenanças, e cumpri-las; e eles serão o meu povo, e eu serei o seu Deus.
21 As to those whose heart is going unto the heart Of their detestable and their abominable things, Their way on their head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.`
21 Mas, quanto àquele cujo coração andar segundo o coração das suas coisas detestáveis, e as suas abominações, eu recompensarei o seu caminho sobre suas próprias cabeças, diz o Senhor DEUS.
22 And the cherubs lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] over-against them, and the honour of the God of Israel [is] over them above.
22 Então, os querubins elevaram as suas asas, e as rodas do lado deles; e a glória do Deus de Israel estava sobre eles.
23 And the honour of Jehovah goeth up from off the midst of the city, and standeth on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.
23 E a glória do SENHOR subiu do meio da cidade; e ficou sobre o monte que está no lado leste da cidade.
24 And a spirit hath lifted me up, and bringeth me in to Chaldea, unto the Removed, in a vision, by the Spirit of God, and go up from off me doth the vision that I have seen;
24 Em seguida, o Espírito me levantou, e me trouxe em visão pelo Espírito de Deus para dentro da Caldeia, para aqueles do cativeiro. Então, a visão que eu havia tido ascendeu de mim.
25 and I speak unto the Removed all the matters of Jehovah that He hath shewed me.
25 Então, eu falei àqueles do cativeiro todas as coisas que o SENHOR havia me mostrado.
