Ezequiel 11

1 And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
1 Então me levantou o Espírito, e me levou à porta oriental da casa do SENHOR, a qual olha para o oriente; e eis que estavam à entrada da porta vinte e cinco homens; e no meio deles vi a Jaazanias, filho de Azur, e a Pelatias, filho de Benaia, príncipes do povo.
2 And He saith unto me, `Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
2 E disse-me: Filho do homem, estes são os homens que maquinam perversidade, e dão mau conselho nesta cidade.
3 who are saying, It [is] not near -- to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we the flesh.
3 Os quais dizem: Não está próximo o tempo de edificar casas; esta cidade é o caldeirão, e nós a carne.
4 Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.`
4 Portanto, profetiza contra eles; profetiza, ó filho do homem.
5 And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, `Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known.
5 Caiu, pois, sobre mim o Espírito do Senhor, e disse-me: Fala: Assim diz o Senhor: Assim haveis falado, ó casa de Israel, porque, quanto às coisas que vos sobem ao espírito, eu as conheço.
6 Ye multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.
6 Multiplicastes os vossos mortos nesta cidade, e enchestes as suas ruas de mortos.
7 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Your wounded whom ye placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And you he hath brought out from its midst.
7 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Vossos mortos, que deitastes no meio dela, esses são a carne e ela é o caldeirão; a vós, porém, vos tirarei do meio dela.
8 A sword ye have feared, And a sword I bring in against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
8 Temestes a espada, e a espada trarei sobre vós, diz o Senhor DEUS.
9 And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done among you judgments.
9 E vos farei sair do meio dela, e vos entregarei na mão de estrangeiros, e exercerei os meus juízos entre vós.
10 By the sword ye do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
10 Caireis à espada, e nos confins de Israel vos julgarei; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
11 It is not to you for a pot, Nor are ye in its midst for flesh, At the border of Israel I do judge you.
11 Esta cidade não vos servirá de caldeirão, nem vós servireis de carne no meio dela; nos confins de Israel vos julgarei.
12 And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you -- ye have done!`
12 E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor, porque não andastes nos meus estatutos, nem cumpristes os meus juízos; antes fizestes conforme os juízos dos gentios que estão ao redor de vós.
13 And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry -- a loud voice -- and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.`
13 E aconteceu que, profetizando eu, morreu Pelatias, filho de Benaia; então caí sobre o meu rosto, e clamei com grande voz, e disse: Ah! Senhor DEUS! Porventura darás tu fim ao remanescente de Israel?
14 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
14 Então veio a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:
15 `Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel -- all of it, [are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah;
15 Filho do homem, teus irmãos, sim, teus irmãos, os homens de teu parentesco, e toda a casa de Israel, todos eles são aqueles a quem os habitantes de Jerusalém disseram: Apartai-vos para longe do Senhor; esta terra nos foi dada em possessão.
16 it [is] ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in.
16 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ainda que os lancei para longe entre os gentios, e ainda que os espalhei pelas terras, todavia lhes serei como um pequeno santuário, nas terras para onde forem.
17 Therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which ye have been scattered, And I have given to you the ground of Israel.
17 Portanto, dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Hei de ajuntar-vos do meio dos povos, e vos recolherei das terras para onde fostes lançados, e vos darei a terra de Israel.
18 And they have gone in thither. And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations -- out of it.
18 E virão ali, e tirarão dela todas as suas coisas detestáveis e todas as suas abominações.
19 And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh.
19 E lhes darei um só coração, e um espírito novo porei dentro deles; e tirarei da sua carne o coração de pedra, e lhes darei um coração de carne;
20 So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God.
20 Para que andem nos meus estatutos, e guardem os meus juízos, e os cumpram; e eles me serão por povo, e eu lhes serei por Deus.
21 As to those whose heart is going unto the heart Of their detestable and their abominable things, Their way on their head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.`
21 Mas, quanto àqueles cujo coração andar conforme o coração das suas coisas detestáveis, e as suas abominações, farei recair nas suas cabeças o seu caminho, diz o Senhor DEUS.
22 And the cherubs lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] over-against them, and the honour of the God of Israel [is] over them above.
22 Então os querubins elevaram as suas asas, e as rodas os acompanhavam; e a glória do Deus de Israel estava em cima sobre eles.
23 And the honour of Jehovah goeth up from off the midst of the city, and standeth on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.
23 E a glória do Senhor se alçou desde o meio da cidade; e se pôs sobre o monte que está ao oriente da cidade.
24 And a spirit hath lifted me up, and bringeth me in to Chaldea, unto the Removed, in a vision, by the Spirit of God, and go up from off me doth the vision that I have seen;
24 Depois o Espírito me levantou, e me levou à Caldéia, para os do cativeiro, em visão, pelo Espírito de Deus; e subiu de sobre mim a visão que eu tinha tido.
25 and I speak unto the Removed all the matters of Jehovah that He hath shewed me.
25 E falei aos do cativeiro todas as coisas que o Senhor me havia mostrado.
