1 And king Solomon is king over all Israel,
1 Assim foi Salomão rei sobre todo o Israel.
2 and these [are] the heads whom he hath: Azariah son of Zadok [is] the priest;
2 E estes eram os príncipes que tinha: Azarias, filho de Zadoque, era sacerdote;
3 Elihoreph and Ahiah sons of Shisha [are] scribes; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud [is] remembrancer;
3 Eliorefe e Aías, filhos de Sisa, secretários; Jeosafá, filho de Ailude, cronista;
4 and Benaiah son of Jehoiada [is] over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar [are] priests;
4 Benaías, filho de Jeoiada, estava sobre o exército; Zadoque e Abiatar eram sacerdotes;
5 and Azariah son of Nathan [is] over the officers; and Zabud son of Nathan [is] minister, friend of the king;
5 Azarias, filho de Natã, estava sobre os intendentes; Zabude, filho de Natã, era o oficial-mor, amigo do rei;
6 And Ahishar [is] over the household, and Adoniram son of Abda [is] over the tribute.
6 Aisar, o mordomo; e Adonirão, filho de Abda, estava sobre a gente de trabalhos forçados.
7 And Solomon hath twelve officers over all Israel, and they have sustained the king and his household -- a month in the year is on each one for sustenance;
7 Salomão tinha doze intendentes sobre todo o Israel, que proviam de mantimentos ao rei e à sua casa; e cada um tinha que prover mantimentos para um mês no ano.
8 and these [are] their names: Ben-Hur in the hill-country of Ephraim;
8 São estes os seus nomes: Ben-Hur, na região montanhosa de Efraim.
9 Ben-Dekar in Makaz, and Shaalbim, and Beth-Shemesh, and Elon-Beth-Hanan.
9 Ben-Dequer, em Macaz, Saalabim, Bete-Semes e Elom-Bete-Hanã;
10 Ben-Hesed [is] in Aruboth, hath Sochoh and all the land of Hepher;
10 Ben-Hesede, em Arubote; também este tinha Socó e toda a terra de Jefer;
11 Ben-Abinadab [hath] all the elevation of Dor, Taphath daughter of Solomon became his wife.
11 Ben-Abinadabe, em toda a região alta de Dor; tinha este a Tafate, filha de Salomão, por mulher;
12 Baana Ben-Ahilud [hath] Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-Shean, which [is] by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-Shean unto Abel-Meholah, unto beyond Jokneam.
12 Baaná, filho de Ailude, em Taanaque e Megido, e em toda a Bete-Seã, que está junto a Zaretã, abaixo de Jizreel, desde Bete-Seã até Abel-Meolá, para além de Jocmeão;
13 Ben-Geber, in Ramoth-Gilead, hath the small towns of Jair son of Manasseh, which [are] in Gilead; he hath a portion of Argob that [is] in Bashan, sixty great cities [with] wall and brazen bar.
13 o filho de Geber, em Ramote-Gileade; tinha este as aldeias de Jair, filho de Manassés, as quais estão em Gileade; também tinha a região de Argobe, o qual está em Basã, sessenta grandes cidades com muros e ferrolhos de bronze:
14 Ahinadab son of Iddo [hath] Mahanaim.
14 Ainadabe, filho de Ido, em Maanaim;
15 Ahimaaz [is] in Naphtali; he also hath taken Basemath daughter of Solomon for a wife.
15 Aimaaz, em Naftali; também este tomou a Basemate, filha de Salomão, por mulher;
16 Baanah Ben-Hushai [is] in Asher, and in Aloth.
16 Baaná, filho de Hasai, em Aser e em Alote;
17 Jehoshaphat Ben-Paruah [is] in Issachar.
17 Jeosafá, filho de Paruá, em Issacar;
18 Shimei Ben-Elah [is] in Benjamin.
18 Simei, filho de Elá, em Benjamim;
19 Geber Ben-Uri [is] in the land of Gilead, the land of Sihon king of the Amorite, and of Og king of Bashan: and one officer who [is] in the land.
19 Geber, filho de Uri, na terra de Gileade, a terra de Siom, rei dos amorreus, e de Ogue, rei de Basã; havia um só intendente naquela terra.
20 Judah and Israel [are] many, as the sand that [is] by the sea for multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.
20 Eram, pois, os de Judá e Israel numerosos, como a areia que está à beira do mar; e, comendo e bebendo, se alegravam.
21 And Solomon hath been ruling over all the kingdoms, from the River [to] the land of the Philistines and unto the border of Egypt: they are bringing nigh a present, and serving Solomon, all days of his life.
21 E dominava Salomão sobre todos os reinos, desde o rio até a terra dos filisteus e até o termo do Egito; eles pagavam tributo, e serviram a Salomão todos os dias da sua vida.
22 And the provision of Solomon for one day is thirty cors of flour, and sixty cors of meal;
22 O provimento diário de Salomão era de trinta coros de flor de farinha, e sessenta coros e farinha;
23 ten fat oxen, and twenty feeding oxen, and a hundred sheep, apart from hart, and roe, and fallow-deer, and fatted beasts of the stalls,
23 dez bois cevados, vinte bois de pasto e cem ovelhas, afora os veados, gazelas, cabras montesas e aves cevadas.
24 for he is ruling over all beyond the river, from Tiphsah and unto Gaza, over all the kings beyond the river, and he hath peace from all his servants round about.
24 Pois dominava ele sobre toda a região e sobre todos os reis daquém do rio, desde Tifsa até Gaza; e tinha paz por todos os lados em redor.
25 And Judah dwelleth -- and Israel -- in confidence, each under his vine, and under his fig-tree, from Dan even unto Beer-Sheba, all the days of Solomon.
25 Judá e Israel habitavam seguros, desde Dã até Berseba, cada um debaixo da sua videira, e debaixo da sua figueira, por todos os dias de Salomão.
26 And Solomon hath forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
26 Salomão tinha também quarenta mil manjedouras para os cavalos dos seus carros, e doze mil cavaleiros.
27 And these officers have sustained king Solomon and every one drawing near unto the table of king Solomon, each [in] his month; they let nothing be lacking.
27 Aqueles intendentes, pois, cada um no seu mês, proviam de mantimentos o rei Salomão e todos quantos se chegavam à sua mesa; coisa nenhuma deixavam faltar.
28 And the barley and the straw, for horses and for dromedaries, they bring in unto the place where they are, each according to his ordinance.
28 Também traziam, cada um segundo seu cargo, a cevada e a palha para os cavalos e os ginetes, para o lugar em que estivessem.
29 And God giveth wisdom to Solomon, and understanding, very much, and breadth of heart, as the sand that [is] on the edge of the sea;
29 Ora, Deus deu a Salomão sabedoria, e muitíssimo entendimento, e conhecimentos múltiplos, como a areia que está na praia do mar.
30 and the wisdom of Solomon is greater than the wisdom of any of the sons of the east, and than all the wisdom of Egypt;
30 A sabedoria de Salomão era maior do que a de todos os do Oriente e do que toda a sabedoria dos egípcios.
31 and he is wiser than all men, than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, sons of Mahol, and his name is in all the nations round about.
31 Era ele ainda mais sábio do que todos os homens, mais sábio do que Etã, o ezraíta, e do que Hemã, Calcol e Darda, filhos de Maol; e a sua fama correu por todas as nações em redor.
32 And he speaketh three thousand similes, and his songs [are] five, and the chief one;
32 Proferiu ele três mil provérbios, e foram os seus cânticos mil e cinco.
33 and he speaketh concerning the trees, from the cedar that [is] in Lebanon, even unto the hyssop that is coming out in the wall, and he speaketh concerning the cattle, and concerning the fowl, and concerning the creeping things, and concerning the fishes,
33 Dissertou a respeito das árvores, desde o cedro que está no Líbano até o hissopo que brota da parede; também dissertou sobre os animais, as aves, os répteis e os peixes.
34 and there come out of all the peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth who have heard of his wisdom.
34 De todos os povos vinha gente para ouvir a sabedoria de Salomão, e da parte de todos os reis da terra que tinham ouvido da sua sabedoria.
