1 And to the sons of Aaron [are] their courses: sons of Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar,
1 Os filhos de Arão foram assim agrupados: Os filhos de Arão foram Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 and Nadab dieth, and Abihu, in the presence of their father, and they had no sons, and Eleazar and Ithamar act as priests.
2 Mas Nadabe e Abiú morreram antes de seu pai e não tiveram filhos; apenas Eleazar e Itamar serviram como sacerdotes.
3 And David distributeth them, and Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their office in their service;
3 Com a ajuda de Zadoque, descendente de Eleazar, e de Aimeleque, descendente de Itamar, Davi os dividiu em grupos para que cumprissem as suas responsabilidades.
4 and there are found of the sons of Eleazar more for heads of the mighty men than of the sons of Ithamar; and they distribute them: Of the sons of Eleazar, heads for a house of fathers, sixteen; and of the sons of Ithamar, for a house of their fathers, eight.
4 Havia um número maior de chefes de família entre os descendentes de Eleazar do que entre os de Itamar, e por isso eles foram assim divididos: dezesseis chefes de famílias dentre os descendentes de Eleazar e oito, dentre os descendentes de Itamar.
5 And they distribute them, by lots, one with another, for princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, have been of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
5 Eles foram divididos de maneira imparcial mediante sorteio, pois havia líderes do santuário e líderes de Deus tanto entre os descendentes de Eleazar como entre os de Itamar.
6 And Shemaiah son of Nethaneel the scribe, of the Levites, writeth them before the king and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and heads of the fathers, for priests and for Levites: one house of a father being taken possession of for Eleazar, and one being taken possession of for Ithamar.
6 O escriba Semaías, filho do levita Natanael, registrou os nomes deles na presença do rei, dos líderes, dos sacerdotes Zadoque e Aimeleque, filho de Abiatar, e dos chefes de famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas; as famílias de Eleazar e de Itamar foram sorteadas alternadamente.
7 And the first lot goeth out for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah the second,
7 A primeira sorte caiu para Jeoiaribe, a segunda para Jedaías,
8 for Harim the third, for Seorim the fourth,
8 a terceira para Harim, a quarta para Seorim,
9 for Malchijah the fifth, for Mijamin the sixth,
9 a quinta para Malquias, a sexta para Miamim,
10 for Hakkoz the seventh, for Abijah the eighth,
10 a sétima para Hacoz, a oitava para Abias,
11 for Jeshuah the ninth, for Shecaniah the tenth,
11 a nona para Jesua, a décima para Secanias,
12 for Eliashib the eleventh, for Jakim the twelfth,
12 a décima primeira para Eliasibe, a décima segunda para Jaquim,
13 for Huppah the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab the fourteenth,
13 a décima terceira para Hupá, a décima quarta para Jesebeabe,
14 for Bilgah the fifteenth, for Immer the sixteenth,
14 a décima quinta para Bilga, a décima sexta para Imer,
15 for Hezir the seventeenth, for Aphses the eighteenth,
15 a décima sétima para Hezir, a décima oitava para Hapises,
16 for Pethahiah the nineteenth, for Jehezekel the twentieth,
16 a décima nona para Petaías, a vigésima para Jeezquel,
17 for Jachin the one and twentieth, for Gamul the two and twentieth,
17 a vigésima primeira para Jaquim, a vigésima segunda para Gamul,
18 for Delaiah the three and twentieth, for Maaziah the four and twentieth.
18 a vigésima terceira para Delaías, e a vigésima quarta para Maazias.
19 These [are] their appointments for their service, to come in to the house of Jehovah, according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as Jehovah God of Israel, commanded them.
19 Conforme essa ordem eles deveriam ministrar quando entrassem no templo do Senhor, de acordo com as prescrições que Arão, antepassado deles, lhes deixou, conforme o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, havia lhe ordenado.
20 And for the sons of Levi who are left: for sons of Amram, Shubael; for sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
20 Estes foram os chefes dos outros levitas: dos descendentes de Anrão: Subael; dos descendentes de Subael: Jedias.
21 For Rehabiah: for sons of Rehabiah, the head Ishshiah.
21 Quanto a Reabias, Issias foi o chefe dos seus filhos.
22 For the Izharite: Shelomoth; for sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
22 Dos descendentes de Isar: Selomote; dos filhos de Selomote: Jaate.
23 And sons of Jeriah: Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
23 Dos descendentes de Hebrom: Jerias, o primeiro, Amarias, o segundo, Jaaziel, o terceiro, e Jecameão, o quarto.
24 Sons of Uzziel: Michah; for sons of Michah: Shamir.
24 Dos descendentes de Uziel: Mica; dos filhos de Mica: Samir.
25 A brother of Michah [is] Ishshiah; for sons of Ishshiah: Zechariah;
25 Dos descendentes de Issias, irmão de Mica, Zacarias.
26 sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; sons of Jaaziah: Beno;
26 Dos filhos de Merari: Mali e Musi. Dos filhos de Jaazias: Beno.
27 sons of Merari: of Jaaziah: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
27 Os descendentes de Merari por Jaazias: Beno, Soão, Zacur e Ibri.
28 For Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons;
28 De Mali: Eleazar, que não teve filhos.
29 for Kish: sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
29 De Quis: Jerameel.
30 And sons of Mushi [are] Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth; these [are] sons of the Levites, for the house of their fathers,
30 E foram estes os filhos de Musi: Mali, Éder e Jeremote. Esses foram os levitas, de acordo com as suas famílias.
31 and they cast, they also, lots over-against their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and heads of the fathers, for priests and for Levites; the chief father over-against his younger brother.
31 Eles também tiraram sortes na presença do rei Davi e de Zadoque, de Aimeleque, e dos chefes de famílias dos sacerdotes e dos levitas, assim como fizeram seus irmãos, os descendentes de Arão. As famílias dos irmãos mais velhos foram tratadas da mesma maneira que as dos mais novos.
