1 Pedro 2
Kisin Kiraan Kitabuna (YAL) vs VC
2 Niin balo kɛndɛn xɔnla xa ɛ suxu alo xiɲɛ xɔnla dii futen suxuma kii naxan yi, alogo ɛ fan xa sabati ɛ kisi feni a xɔn,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 ɛ to bata a mato, ɛ yi a kolon a Marigin fan.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Ɛ maso a ra, naxan findixi siimaya gɛmɛn na, adamadiine e mɛxi naxan na, koni Ala naxan sugandixi, a mɔn yi a xunna keli.
4 — ausente —
5 Ɛ tan fan bata findi Alaa banxin ti seene ra alo gɛmɛ niiramane, ɛ yi findi saraxarali yama sariɲanxin na, ɛ yi siimaya saraxane ba Ala tinxi naxanye ra fata a Muxu Sugandixin Yesu ra.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Amasɔtɔ Kitabuni ito nan falaxi, a naxa,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Gɛmɛni ito xunna kenla ɛ tan dɛnkɛlɛya muxune nan xa, koni Kitabun yireni ito nan lanxi dɛnkɛlɛyatarene tan ma, a naxa,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 A mɔn sɛbɛxi Kitabun kui, a naxa,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Koni ɛ tan bata findi yama sugandixin na. Mangane nun saraxaraline nan ɛ tan na, siya sariɲanxina, Ala gbeen yamaan naxan na, alogo ɛ xa a wali faɲi gbeene fe rali, a tan naxan ɛ xilixi, a yi ɛ ba dimini, siga a kabanako kɛnɛnyani.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 A fɔlɔni, Alaa yama mi yi ɛ ra nun koni iki, ɛ bata findi a yamaan na. Ɛ tan naxan mi yi Alaa kininkininna sɔtɔxi, koni iki, ɛ bata a kininkininna sɔtɔ.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nba, ngaxakedenne, ɛ tan naxanye luxi alo xɔɲɛne nun sigatine dunuɲa yi, n na ɛ mafanma, ɛ yɛtɛ suxu fati bɛndɛn kunfa feene ma naxanye ɛ niin yɛngɛma.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ɛ kɛwanle xa fanɲɛ ayi nɛn dɛnkɛlɛyatarene yɛ, alogo, e na ɛ mafala fe ɲaxi rabaan na, e xa ɛ kɛwali faɲine to, e yi Ala binya a fa lɔxɔni.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Ɛ xuru adamadiyaan mangayane birin bun Marigina fe ra, a na findi manga gbeen na
13 — ausente —
14 hanma yamana kanne, a naxanye rasigaxi wali kobine sarandeni fe ɲaxi rabane ra, e yi fe faɲi rabane tantun e wali faɲine ra.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Amasɔtɔ Ala sagoon na a ra, a ɛ fe faɲi rabaan xa xaxilitarene radundun e xaxilitareyani.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ɛ findi muxu xɔrɔyaxine ra, koni ɛ nama ɛ xɔrɔyaan findi fe ɲaxin luxun seen na, ɛ findi Alaa konyi faɲine ra.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Ɛ muxun birin binya, ɛ yi ɛ dɛnkɛlɛya muxun bonne xanu, ɛ yi gaxu Ala yɛɛ ra, ɛ yamana kanna binya.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Walikɛne, ɛ xuru ɛ kuntigine ma, ɛ yi kuntigi ɲaxine binya feen birin yi alo a faɲine nun a diɲaxine.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Amasɔtɔ, na findixi fe faɲin nan na, xa muxun limaniya ɲaxankatan bun ma Ala kolonna fe ra, a a li na ɲaxankatan mi lanxi a kɛwanle ma.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Koni na findɛ binyen na ɛ xa di, xa ɛ ɲaxankata ɛ kala tixine fe ra, ɛ yi limaniya? Anu, xa ɛ tɔrɔ ɛ kɛwali faɲine fe ra, ɛ yi limaniya, fe faɲin nan na ra Ala yɛɛ ra yi.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ala ɛ xilixi na nan ma, bayo Alaa Muxu Sugandixin yɛtɛɛn tɔrɔ nɛn ɛ xa, a yi misaala lu ɛ yii alogo ɛ xa bira a fɔxɔ ra.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Kitabun naxa, “A mi yulubi yo liga, a mi yanfa fala yo ti.”
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 E a konbi waxatin naxan yi, a tan mi konbi ti. A tɔrɔ waxatin naxan yi, a mi xaɲɛ e ma koni a a yɛtɛ lu kitisa tinxinxina Ala nan yii.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Yesu yɛtɛɛn bata en yulubine goronna tongo a fati bɛndɛni, a to gbangban wudin ma, alogo en xa lu alo faxa muxune yulubine mabinni, en yi lu en nii ra tinxinni. Ɛ kɛndɛyaan sɔtɔxi a maxɔlɔne nan xɔn.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ɛ yi luxi nɛn alo yɛxɛɛn naxanye lɔxi ayi, koni iki ɛ mɔn bata xɛtɛ xuruse rabaan fɛma naxan ɛ niin kantanma.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
