1 Loo na, -ye ye laampee wũhũ byɛ miy yaha, ye ma n fufor pye ye, ye ma n ye nampyeŋ wlaŋ le kapee wo ye, ye ma n nii yĩnkãhã sãnsyãŋ ne ye, ye ma n naa yĩnde pye ye, ye ma n wãpee pãã waa wĩĩ na ye!
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Ye cã yĩm n tãy pẽyãhã ye, u yĩm wãr ma n lɛ. Ye bya, -ye nii pẽyãhã wãŋ ter syi dyaŋ, -tee ta Yãhã kapãn wĩĩ naa n tãy ye ye, le Yãhã kapãn lii le sroŋ, ma laha, kapee carle laa gɛ sẽ wlãhã le wo ye. -Ye le le naa n yaha ye laam wo yalebyɛ! Loo na, Yãhã cĩĩnde wĩĩ ga gboho ye laam wo, ye n lɛ Yãhã kãnde wo.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Ye Yĩŋfua wĩĩ cã, ma maha u laantãr wũhũ yãã gboho, ma cã ye wĩĩ gboho u laam wo.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 -Ye yũhũ dye Yĩŋfua Yesu tãy! U sẽ ku ye, u ma yrãŋ na, woo kẽ nwoŋ nakũy ntẽmblaha Yãhã ye. Nawee- u sye, pe sẽ u ta ngaa ye. Yãhã -sẽ cãã bii woo yãŋ yi, ma yee u tɛr wãn byɛ yaha.

5 -Ye yũhũ dye Yesu tãy, tee tyii Yãhã n ye ta ke kangbãŋ fãã ye ne, Yãhã Yrã n dye nii ke wo. Yii tee ga maha ba nii koo Yãhã kangbãŋ nge yũndefa, ye naa ke sey ye laam fãnga byɛ ne, tee yii le soho ke koho wo ye kuãŋ ne mii diŋ wãŋ syi dyaŋ. Ye ga ba naa koo pye Yesu Crise myaha ne, loo le ga naa n tãy Yãhã ye.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Yãhã sabangbãŋ wo, le ma le yrũhũ ta ma yee, Yãhã yee:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Yii mpãy tee ke wĩĩ sya cĩĩnde, ke ma ye ye yĩŋ ne, ke tɛr wãn byɛ yaha. Ma -sẽ yee mpãy na, pe sẽ ke wĩĩ sya cĩĩnde ye, yĩŋ wee ke na poo ye ye. Le ma le yrũhũ ta Yãhã sabangbãŋ wo ma yee:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Le maha yrũhũ ta ma yee:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Yii poo na, tee Yesu wĩĩ sya cĩĩnde, Yãhã ye yãŋ yi. Ye ma u Yĩŋfua yũndefa. Yãhã ye ter yãŋ yi ma ye ta ke wãm, ye kãnkai- n naa n laha. Yãhã ye yee yi wam wo, ma ba ye le ke cãã- wo, cãã- mpãy kacãn wee pe nayɔ̃r na ye. Ke ye yãŋ yi, ma yee ye naa Yãhã kayũhũ yar nawee- na.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Faale wo, ye sẽ pye Yãhã wãm ye. Yagaa woo, ye ma Yãhã wãm. Faale wo, ye sẽ ba cã ma yee Yãhã ye fɛn di ye. Yagaa tee -sẽ le cã, ye Yãhã kayĩĩ yãã.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ta naambiyãm, n ye nar laa ne. Ye cã ye ma nampay driyɛ̃ nge wo, plii raa ya tee ga pye ke wo. Loo na, ye laam wũhũ nkãy ke sẽ n gaha Yãhã kuɛ ye ye, -ye ke miy yaha, ke ma n naa ye wlãhã ye saha Yãhã laam wĩĩ pye ye.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Mpãy pe sẽ Yãhã cã ye, tee mii ye wlãhã nii pe laam wo, -ye ta ye pyer n yɔ̃! Pe ma sya kawar fua n taha ye na, ma yee ye ma kapeepyefa, pe yĩnde ma ye kayũhũ na tee n pye. Ke syi ne, Yãhã ma ke yĩŋ yi pe ye per gii, ye kayũhũ ga ta pe n ke sey.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Tee mii tee Yĩŋfua Yesu kãnde yãr, -ye yĩŋ kor naa n le yĩŋfa ter byɛ ye kãntraha nge na! Tee naa n luhu ye kãntraha yĩŋfua ye, woo wii fãnga kur byɛ ma u koho wo!
13 — ausente —
14 U yĩŋfua tuu mpãy yãŋ yi, ma pe taha yĩŋ na u kãntraha kui byɛ wo, -ye naa n luhu pe bya ye! Poo mpãy, nawee ma kapee pye, pe ga u pẽn, wii ma -sẽ kayĩĩ pye, pe ga u sey.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Ye sẽ yãã, Yãhã n kɛ ye naa kayũhũ pye, ye ta, mpãy pe sẽ n kɛ pe kai- cã ye, tesẽ mpãy ne pe plege, pe ma n waha naa wãpee pãã ye wĩĩ na ye.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Yagaa, ye yi kãã yãmpar raa ter fãnga koho wo. Loo na, lii ma tãy ye ye, ye ga waha loo yãŋ gbe. N sẽ -sẽ yee, ye kapee- wãpyeŋ kãnde loo gbe ye wãsyayaha flãhã tãy ye. -Ye naa ye troho tãhã nawee- n waha cã, cĩĩnde Yãhã tẽntẽ- me ye ne.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 -Ye naa nagboho ta nawee- byɛ na; mpãy byɛ pe ma Yesu kãndeyãrfa, ye tyii pe ntãŋ n naa n dye ye tãy; -ye naa n fya Yãhã koo na, -ye naa n luhu nawee- yĩŋfuangbãŋ ye!
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Tẽntẽ-, -ye yĩŋ kor naa n le yĩŋfa kẽ, -tee naa n fya pe na! Mpãy pe ma ye yĩŋfa, pe ma naweeyɔ̃m woo, -ye naa n luhu pe ye, pe wee naweeyɔ̃m woo, -ye naa n luhu pe ye!
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Ye sẽ yãã, taa sẽ yai wãfãy gii ne ye, pe ma ma fãy koo wãfãy nge ne, ma sẽ le ta kai ye, cã ma n luhu Yãhã ye. Maʼa n pye ke syi, ma pyer n tãy Yãhã ye.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ye sẽ yãã, ke ma pye ye kapee pye cĩĩnde, pe n ye yigi ma nii ye fãy le wĩĩ na, le yai ye ne, ye saha laa wãyĩĩ yãã koo wãfãy na ye. Ke ma -sẽ pye ye kayĩĩ pye, pe n ye yigi ma nii ye nuhu le wĩĩ na, ye n yii ta le sẽ kai kua ye ye ye, ye ga wãyĩĩ yãã le na Yãhã ye.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ye sẽ yãã, Yãhã lii kɛ ye ye, ye naa ye laam yĩn wãfãy wo. -Ye yãŋ, u Yãhã Yĩndefua Crise gɛ ke syi wãfãy yãã ye wĩĩ na, ma yee tee naa n yãŋ woo na, ye naa ye troho tãhã u wãŋ ter syi dyaŋ.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 U sẽ kapee laa syi gɛ pye yãã ye, kawar wĩĩ laa sẽ yi yãã u yɛ̃ wo ye.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 U pye, wii ma u tyɛhɛ, u saa kapãmpee dur wãã ufua kẽ ye. U pye, pe ma sya u nuhu mii, u saa yee u ga wãpee pye pefa na ye, u ga u ya le soho Yãhã koho wo, Yãhã gii ke nawee sãhã cĩĩnde ne.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 U Crise wo kapee- kur byɛ sya, ma tẽŋ u yĩŋ na, pe n sya ga u kuey mar trã na, u n ku ke ne. U loo pye ma wo ta, wo n nii nakur wãŋ syi dyaŋ kapee- wãpyeŋ kuɛ ye, ma -sẽ nii yrãŋ na, ma ga waha naa kai nkãy pye nkãy ke sroŋ. Pe Yesu tee duai, u n le sya laanyĩn ne. Loo ta, kapee- nkãy byɛ pe tee pye wo na faale wo, koo kayaaŋ n kua wo laam wo, wo n maha kadye korkor yãã.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Ye sẽ yãã, faale wo, ye pye mii mbaa dyaŋ pe yi kãã u mbanaha kur ye ma -sẽ plaha. Yagaa, ye wee ke syi nantãŋ ye. Ye dur ba u mbanaha ye, u n nii n sẽŋ ye na.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
