1 The `title of the fyue and eiytetithe salm. The preier of Dauid. Lord, bowe doun thin eere, and here me; for Y am nedi and pore.
1 Foste favorável à tua terra, ó Senhor; trouxeste restauração a Jacó.
2 Kepe thou my lijf, for Y am holi; my God, make thou saaf thi seruaunt hopynge in thee.
2 Perdoaste a culpa do teu povo e cobriste todos os seus pecados. Pausa
3 Lord, haue thou merci on me, for Y criede al day to thee;
3 Retiraste todo o teu furor e te afastaste da tua ira tremenda.
4 make thou glad the soule of thi seruaunt, for whi, Lord, Y haue reisid my soule to thee.
4 Restaura-nos mais uma vez, ó Deus, nosso Salvador, e desfaze o teu furor para conosco.
5 For thou, Lord, art swete and mylde; and of myche merci to alle men inwardli clepynge thee.
5 Ficarás indignado conosco para sempre? Prolongarás a tua ira por todas as gerações?
6 Lord, perseyue thou my preier with eeris; and yyue thou tente to the vois of my bisechyng.
6 Acaso não nos renovarás a vida, a fim de que o teu povo se alegre em ti?
7 In the dai of my tribulacioun Y criede to thee; for thou herdist me.
7 Mostra-nos o teu amor, ó Senhor, e concede-nos a tua salvação!
8 Lord, noon among goddis is lijk thee; and noon is euene to thi werkis.
8 Eu ouvirei o que Deus, o Senhor, disse: Ele promete paz ao seu povo, aos seus fiéis! Não voltem eles à insensatez!
9 Lord, alle folkis, whiche euere thou madist, schulen come, and worschipe bifore thee; and thei schulen glorifie thi name.
9 Perto está a salvação que ele trará aos que o temem, e a sua glória habitará em nossa terra.
10 For thou art ful greet, and makinge merueils; thou art God aloone.
10 O amor e a fidelidade se encontrarão; a justiça e a paz se beijarão.
11 Lord, lede thou me forth in thi weie, and Y schal entre in thi treuthe; myn herte be glad, that it drede thi name.
11 A fidelidade brotará da terra, e a justiça descerá dos céus.
12 Mi Lord God, Y schal knouleche to thee in al myn herte; and Y schal glorifie thi name withouten ende.
12 O Senhor nos trará bênçãos, e a nossa terra dará a sua colheita.
13 For thi merci is greet on me; and thou deliueridist my soule fro the lower helle.
13 A justiça irá adiante dele e preparará o caminho para os seus passos.
14 God, wickid men han rise vp on me; and the synagoge of myyti men han souyt my lijf; and thei han not set forth thee in her siyt.
