¹ Disse o Senhor ao meu senhor: Assenta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos debaixo dos teus pés.

² The werkis of the Lord ben greete; souyt out in to alle hise willis.

² O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do seu poder, dizendo: Domina entre os teus inimigos.

³ His werk is knoulechyng and grete doyng; and his riytfulnesse dwellith in to the world of world.

³ Apresentar-se-á voluntariamente o teu povo, no dia do teu poder; com santos ornamentos, como o orvalho emergindo da aurora, serão os teus jovens.

⁴ The Lord merciful in wille, and a merciful doere, hath maad a mynde of hise merueilis;

⁴ O Senhor jurou e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.

⁵ he hath youe meete to men dredynge hym. He schal be myndeful of his testament in to the world;

⁵ O Senhor, à tua direita, no dia da sua ira, esmagará os reis.

⁶ he schal telle to his puple the vertu of hise werkis.

⁷ That he yyue to hem the eritage of folkis; the werkis of hise hondis ben treuthe and doom.
