1 Conhecido é Deus em Judá; grande é o seu nome em Israel.

2 E em Salém está o seu tabernáculo, e a sua morada, em Sião.

5 Myn iyen bifore took wakyngis; Y was disturblid, and Y spak not.
5 Os que são ousados de coração foram despojados; dormiram o seu sono, e nenhum dos homens de força achou as próprias mãos.
6 I thouyte elde daies; and Y hadde in mynde euerlastinge yeeris.
6 À tua repreensão, ó Deus de Jacó, carros e cavalos são lançados num sono profundo.
7 And Y thouyte in the nyyt with myn herte; and Y was exercisid, and Y clensid my spirit.
7 Tu, tu és terrível! E quem subsistirá à tua vista, se te irares?
8 Whether God schal caste awei with outen ende; ether schal he not lei to, that he be more plesid yit?
8 Desde os céus fizeste ouvir o teu juízo; a terra tremeu e se aquietou
9 Ethir schal he kitte awei his merci into the ende; fro generacioun in to generacioun?
9 quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para livrar a todos os mansos da terra. (Selá)
10 Ethir schal God foryete to do mercy; ethir schal he withholde his mercies in his ire?
10 Porque a cólera do homem redundará em teu louvor, e o restante da cólera, tu o restringirás.
11 And Y seide, Now Y bigan; this is the chaunging of the riythond of `the hiye God.
11 Fazei votos e pagai ao Senhor , vosso Deus; tragam presentes, os que estão em redor dele, àquele que é tremendo.
12 I hadde mynde on the werkis of the Lord; for Y schal haue mynde fro the bigynnyng of thi merueilis.
12 Ele ceifará o espírito dos príncipes: é tremendo para com os reis da terra.
13 And Y schal thenke in alle thi werkis; and Y schal be occupied in thi fyndyngis.
