1 The title of the five and fourtithe salm. To the ouercomere, the song of the sones `of Chore, `for yongthis.
1 Ao mestre de canto. Segundo a melodia: Os lírios. Hino dos filhos de Coré. Canto nupcial. Transbordam palavras sublimes do meu coração. Ao rei dedico o meu canto. Minha língua é como o estilo de um ágil escriba.
2 Oure God, thou art refuyt, and vertu; helpere in tribulacions, that han founde vs greetly.
2 Sois belo, o mais belo dos filhos dos homens. Expande-se a graça em vossos lábios, pelo que Deus vos cumulou de bênçãos eternas.
3 Therfor we schulen not drede, while the erthe schal be troblid; and the hillis schulen be borun ouer in to the herte of the see.
3 Cingi-vos com vossa espada, ó herói; ela é vosso ornamento e esplendor.
4 The watris of hem sowneden, and weren troblid; hillis weren troblid togidere in the strengthe of hym.
4 Erguei-vos vitorioso em defesa da verdade e da justiça. Que vossa mão se assinale por feitos gloriosos.
5 The feersnesse of flood makith glad the citee of God; the hiyeste God hath halewid his tabernacle.
5 Aguçadas são as vossas flechas; a vós se submetem os povos; os inimigos do rei perdem o ânimo.
6 God in the myddis therof schal not be moued; God schal helpe it eerli in the grey morewtid.
6 Vosso trono, ó Deus, é eterno, de eqüidade é vosso cetro real.
7 Hethene men weren disturblid togidere, and rewmes weren bowid doun; God yaf his vois, the erthe was moued.
7 Amais a justiça e detestais o mal, pelo que o Senhor, vosso Deus, vos ungiu com óleo de alegria, preferindo-vos aos vossos iguais.
8 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
8 Exalam vossas vestes perfume de mirra, aloés e incenso; do palácio de marfim os sons das liras vos deleitam.
9 Come ye, and se the werkis of the Lord; whiche wondris he hath set on the erthe.
9 Filhas de reis formam vosso cortejo; posta-se à vossa direita a rainha, ornada de ouro de Ofir.
10 He doynge awei batels til to the ende of the lond; schal al to-brese bouwe, and schal breke togidere armuris, and schal brenne scheldis bi fier.
10 Ouve, filha, vê e presta atenção: esquece o teu povo e a casa de teu pai.
11 Yyue ye tent, and se ye, that Y am God; Y schal be enhaunsid among hethene men; and Y schal be enhaunsid in erthe.
11 De tua beleza se encantará o rei; ele é teu senhor, rende-lhe homenagens.
12 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
12 Habitantes de Tiro virão com seus presentes, próceres do povo implorarão teu favor.
