¹ Salmo de Davi. Tributai ao Senhor, ó filhos de Deus, tributai ao Senhor glória e poder!

² Lord, Y schal enhaunse thee, for thou hast vp take me; and thou delitidist not myn enemyes on me.

² Rendei-lhe a glória devida ao seu nome; adorai o Senhor com ornamentos sagrados.

³ Mi Lord God, Y criede to thee; and thou madist me hool.

³ Ouve-se a voz do Senhor sobre as águas! O Deus de grandeza atroou: o Senhor trovejou sobre as águas imensas!

⁴ Lord, thou leddist out my soule fro helle; thou sauedist me fro hem that goen doun into the lake.

⁴ A voz do Senhor faz-se ouvir com poder! A voz do Senhor faz-se ouvir com majestade!

⁵ Ye seyntis of the Lord, synge to the Lord; and knowleche ye to the mynde of his hoolynesse.

⁵ Fendem-se os cedros à voz do Senhor, quebra o Senhor os cedros do Líbano.

⁶ For ire is in his indignacioun; and lijf is in his wille. Wepyng schal dwelle at euentid; and gladnesse at the morewtid.

⁶ Faz saltar o Líbano como um novilho, e o Sarion como um búfalo novo.

⁷ Forsothe Y seide in my plentee; Y schal not be moued with outen ende.

⁸ Lord, in thi wille; thou hast youe vertu to my fairnesse. Thou turnedist awei thi face fro me; and Y am maad disturblid.

⁸ A voz do Senhor abala o deserto. O Senhor faz tremer o deserto de Cades.

⁹ Lord, Y schal crye to thee; and Y schal preye to my God.

⁹ A voz do Senhor retorce os carvalhos, desnuda as florestas. E em seu templo todos bradam: glória!
