1 And he biheeld, and saye tho riche men, that casten her yiftis in to the treserie;
1 E ele olhando para cima, viu os ricos lançarem as suas ofertas na arca do tesouro.
2 but he saye also a litil pore widewe castynge twei ferthingis.
2 E ele viu também uma certa viúva pobre lançar ali dois leptos.
3 And he seide, Treuli Y seie to you, that this pore widewe keste more than alle men.
3 E ele disse: Verdadeiramente eu vos digo que esta pobre viúva lançou mais do que todos;
4 For whi alle these of thing that was plenteuouse to hem casten in to the yiftis of God; but this widewe of that thing that failide to hir, caste al hir liflode, that sche hadde.
4 porque todos estes lançaram como ofertas a Deus do que tinham em abundância; mas ela, da sua pobreza, lançou todo o sustento que tinha.
5 And whanne sum men seiden of the temple, that it was apparailid with gode stoonus and yiftis,
5 E, quando alguns falaram sobre o templo, que estava adornado de formosas pedras e dádivas, ele disse:
6 he seide, These thingis that ye seen, daies schulen come, in whiche a stoon schal not be left on a stoon, which schal not be destried.
6 Quanto a estas coisas que vedes, dias virão em que não se deixará uma pedra sobre outra que não seja derrubada.
7 And thei axiden hym, and seiden, Comaundour, whanne schulen these thingis be? and what tokne schal be, whanne thei schulen bigynne to be don?
7 E eles perguntaram-lhe, dizendo: Mestre, mas quando serão essas coisas? E que sinal haverá quando estas coisas estiverem para acontecer?
8 And he seide, Se ye, that ye be not disseyued; for many schulen come in my name, seiynge, For Y am, and the tyme schal neiye; therfor nyle ye go aftir hem.
8 E ele disse: Acautelai-vos para que não vos enganem; porque muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: Eu sou o Cristo, e o tempo está próximo; não vades, portanto, após eles.
9 And whanne ye schulen here batailis and stryues with ynne, nyle ye be aferd; it bihoueth first these thingis to be don, but not yit anoon is an ende.
9 Mas, quando ouvirdes de guerras e tumultos, não vos apavoreis; porque é necessário que primeiro aconteçam essas coisas, mas o fim não será logo.
10 Thanne he seide to hem, Folk schal rise ayens folk, and rewme ayens rewme;
10 Então, lhes disse: Nação se levantará contra nação, e reino contra reino;
11 grete mouyngis of erthe schulen be bi placis, and pestilencis, and hungris, and dredis fro heuene, and grete tokenes schulen be.
11 e haverá em vários lugares, grandes terremotos, e fomes, e pestilências; haverá fenômenos atemorizantes e grandes sinais haverá do céu.
12 But bifore alle these thingis thei schulen sette her hoondis on you, and schulen pursue, bitakynge in to synagogis and kepyngis, drawynge to kyngis and to iusticis, for my name;
12 Mas, antes de todas essas coisas, eles lançarão mão de vós, e vos perseguirão, entregando-vos às sinagogas e às prisões, e conduzindo-vos diante de reis e governadores, por causa do meu nome.
13 but it schal falle to you in to witnessyng.
13 E isso vos acontecerá por testemunho.
14 Therfor putte ye in youre hertis, not to thenke bifore, hou ye schulen answere; for Y schal yyue to you mouth and wisdom,
14 Decidi, pois, em vosso coração a não premeditar como haveis de responder;
15 to whiche alle youre aduersaries schulen not mowe ayenstonde, and ayenseie.
15 porque eu vos darei boca e sabedoria, que todos os seus adversários não poderão resistir nem contradizer.
16 And ye schulen be takun of fadir, and modir, and britheren, and cosyns, and freendis, and bi deeth thei schulen turmente of you;
16 E vós sereis traídos pelos pais, e irmãos, e parentes, e amigos; e eles matarão alguns de vós.
17 and ye schulen be in haate to alle men for my name.
17 E sereis odiados por todos os homens por causa do meu nome.
18 And an heere of youre heed schal not perische;
18 Mas não perecerá um único cabelo da vossa cabeça.
19 in youre pacience ye schulen welde youre soulis.
19 Na vossa paciência, possuí a vossa alma.
20 But whanne ye schulen se Jerusalem ben enuyround with an oost, thanne wite ye, that the desolacioun of it schal neiye.
20 E, quando virdes Jerusalém cercada de exércitos, então sabei que é chegada a sua desolação.
21 Thanne thei that ben in Judee, fle to the mountans; and thei that ben in the mydil of it, gon awei; and thei that ben in the cuntreis, entre not in to it.
21 Então, deixai os que estiverem na Judeia fugirem para os montes; e deixai os que estiverem no meio dela, saírem; e não deixai os que estiverem nos campos entrar nela.
22 For these ben daies of veniaunce, that alle thingis that ben writun, be fulfillid.
22 Porque estes são dias de vingança, para que tudo o que está escrito seja cumprido.
23 And wo to hem, that ben with child, and norischen in tho daies; for a greet diseese schal be on the erthe, and wraththe to this puple.
23 Mas ai das grávidas e das que amamentarem naqueles dias! Porque haverá grande aflição na terra, e ira sobre este povo.
24 And thei schulen falle bi the scharpnesse of swerd, and thei schulen be led prisoneris in to alle folkis; and Jerusalem schal be defoulid of hethene men, til the tymes of naciouns be fulfillid.
24 E eles cairão ao fio de espada e serão levados cativos para todas as nações, e Jerusalém será pisada pelos gentios, até que os tempos dos gentios se completem.
25 And tokenes schulen be in the sunne, and the mone, and in the sterris; and in the erthe ouerleiyng of folkis, for confusioun of sown of the see and of floodis;
25 E haverá sinais no sol, e na lua, e nas estrelas, e sobre a terra, aflição das nações, com perplexidade; o mar e as ondas bramindo;
26 for men schulen wexe drye for drede and abidyng that schulen come to al the world; for vertues of heuenes schulen be mouyd.
26 o coração dos homens desfalecerá por medo da expectativa daquilo que sobrevirá à terra; porque os poderes do céu serão abalados.
27 And thanne thei schulen se mannys sone comynge in a cloude, with greet power and maieste.
27 E eles então verão o Filho do Homem vindo em uma nuvem, com poder e grande glória.
28 And whanne these thingis bigynnen to be maad, biholde ye, and reise ye youre heedis, for youre redempcioun neiyeth.
28 E quando essas coisas começarem a acontecer, olhai para cima e levantai a vossa cabeça, porque a vossa redenção está próxima.
29 And he seide to hem a liknesse, Se ye the fige tre, and alle trees,
29 E ele falou-lhes uma parábola: Olhai para a figueira e para todas as árvores;
30 whanne thei bryngen forth now of hem silf fruyt, ye witen that somer is nyy;
30 quando elas já começam a brotar, as vedes e, por vós mesmos, sabeis que o verão está próximo.
31 so ye, whanne ye seen these thingis to be don, wite ye, that the kyngdom of God is nyy.
31 Assim também vós, quando virdes acontecer essas coisas, sabei que o reino de Deus está próximo.
32 Treuli Y seie to you, that this generacioun schal not passe, til alle thingis be don.
32 Verdadeiramente eu vos digo: Que não passará esta geração até que tudo se cumpra.
33 Heuene and erthe schulen passe, but my wordis schulen not passe.
33 O céu e a terra passarão, mas as minhas palavras não passarão.
34 But take ye heede to you silf, lest perauenture youre hertis be greuyd with glotony, and drunkenesse, and bisynessis of this lijf, and thilke dai come sodein on you; for as a snare it schal come on alle men,
34 E tomai cuidado por vós mesmos, para que em nenhum momento os vossos corações sejam sobrecarregados com excessos, e embriaguez, e cuidados da vida, e aquele dia vos sobrevenha desprevenidamente.
35 that sitten on the face of al erthe.
35 Porque virá como um laço sobre todos os que habitam na face de toda a terra.
36 Therfor wake ye, preiynge in ech tyme, that ye be hadde worthi to fle alle these thingis that ben to come, and to stonde bifor mannus sone.
36 Vigiai, pois, orando sempre, para serdes considerados dignos de escapar de todas essas coisas que hão de acontecer, e de estar em pé diante do Filho do homem.
37 And in daies he was techynge in the temple, but in nyytis he yede out, and dwellide in the mount, that is clepid of Olyuet.
37 E, de dia ele ensinava no templo, e à noite, saindo, ficava no monte chamado monte das Oliveiras.
38 And al the puple roos eerli, to come to hym in the temple, and to here hym.
38 E todo o povo chegava cedo de manhã a ele no templo, para ouvi-lo.
