1 Forsothe God visitide Sare, as he bihiyte, and fillide tho thingis, that he spak.
1 E o SENHOR visitou a Sara como ele dissera, e fez o SENHOR a Sara como ele tinha falado.
2 And sche conseyuede, and childide a sone in hir eeld, in the tyme wherynne God biforseide to hir.
2 Pois Sara concebeu e gerou um filho a Abraão em sua velhice, no tempo estabelecido de que Deus lhe falara.
3 And Abraham clepide the name of his sone, whom Sare childide to him, Ysaac.
3 E Abraão chamou o nome de seu filho que lhe nasceu, que Sara lhe concebeu, Isaque.
4 And Abraham circumcidide hym in the eiyte dai, as God comaundide to him,
4 E Abraão circuncidou seu filho Isaque, sendo ele de oito dias de idade, como Deus lhe ordenara.
5 whanne he was of an hundrid yeer; for Ysaac was borun in this age of the fadir.
5 E Abraão era da idade de cem anos quando seu filho Isaque lhe nasceu.
6 And Sare seide, The Lord made leiyynge to me, and who euer schal here schal leiye with me.
6 E Sara disse: Deus me fez rir, de modo que todos os que ouvirem rirão comigo.
7 And eft sche seide, Who schulde here, and bileue to Abraham, that Sare schulde yyue soukyng to a sone, whom sche childide to him now an eld man?
7 E ela disse: Quem teria dito a Abraão que Sara daria de mamar a filhos? Pois eu lhe dei um filho em sua velhice.
8 Therfor the child encreesside, and was wenyd; and Abraham made a greet feeste in the dai of his wenyng.
8 E o menino cresceu, e foi desmamado. E Abraão fez um grande banquete no mesmo dia em que Isaque foi desmamado.
9 And whanne Sare seiy the sone of Agar Egipcian pleiynge with Ysaac hir sone, sche seide to Abraham,
9 E Sara viu o filho de Agar, a egípcia, que ela dera a Abraão, zombando.
10 Cast thou out the handmayde and hir sone; for the sone of the handmayde schal not be eir with my sone Ysaac.
10 Por isso ela disse a Abraão: Lança fora esta serva e seu filho, porque o filho dessa serva não será herdeiro com meu filho, com Isaque.
11 Abraham took this heuyli for his sone;
11 E a coisa pareceu muito grave aos olhos de Abraão por causa de seu filho.
12 and God seide to hym, Be it not seyn scharp to thee on the child, and on thin handmayde; alle thingis whiche Sare seith to thee, here thou hir vois, for in Isaac seed schal be clepid to thee;
12 E Deus disse a Abraão: Não seja isso grave a tua vista por causa do rapaz, e por causa da tua serva. Em tudo que Sara disser, dá ouvidos à sua voz, porque em Isaque será chamada a tua semente.
13 but also I schal make the sone of the handmaid in to a greet folk, for he is thi seed.
13 E também do filho da serva eu farei uma nação, porque ele é tua semente.
14 And so Abraham roos eerli, and took breed, and a botel of watir, and puttide on hir schuldre, and bitook the child, and lefte hir; and whanne sche hadde go, sche yede out of the weie in the wildirnesse of Bersabee.
14 E Abraão se levantou cedo de manhã, e tomou pão, e um odre de água, e os deu a Agar, pondo-os sobre o seu ombro, e ao filho, e a despediu. E ela partiu, e peregrinou pelo deserto de Berseba.
15 And whanne the watir in the botel was endid, sche castide awei the child vndur a tre that was there;
15 E a água do odre foi consumida, e ela colocou o filho debaixo de um dos arbustos.
16 and sche yede awei, and sche sat euene ayens as fer as a bowe may caste; for sche seide, Y schal not se the child diynge; and sche sat ayens, and reiside hir vois, and wepte.
16 E ela foi sentar-se em frente dele a boa distância, como a de um tiro de arco. Pois ela disse: Que eu não veja a morte da criança. E sentada em frente dele, levantou sua voz e chorou.
17 Forsothe the Lord herde the vois of the child, and the aungel of the Lord clepide Agar fro heuene, and seide, What doist thou, Agar? nyle thou drede, for God hath herd the vois of the child fro the place where ynne he is.
17 E Deus ouviu a voz do menino. E o anjo de Deus chamou Agar desde o céu, e lhe disse: Que te aflige, Agar? Não temas, pois Deus ouviu a voz do menino de onde ele está.
18 Rise thou, and take the child, and holde his hoond; for Y schal make hym in to a greet folc.
18 Ergue-te, levanta o menino nos teus braços, pois farei dele uma grande nação.
19 And God openyde hir iyen, and sche seiy a pit of watir, and sche yede, and fillide the botel, and sche yaf drynk to the child;
19 E Deus abriu-lhe os olhos, e ela viu um poço de água. E foi, e encheu o odre com água, e deu de beber ao menino.
20 and was with him, and he encresside, and dwellide in wildernesse, and he was maad a yong man an archer,
20 E Deus estava com o menino, e ele cresceu e habitou no deserto, e se tornou um arqueiro.
21 and dwellide in the deseert of Faran; and his modir took to him a wijf of the lond of Egipt.
21 E ele habitou no deserto de Parã; e sua mãe lhe tomou uma mulher da terra do Egito.
22 In the same tyme Abymelech, and Ficol, prince of his oost, seide to Abraham, God is with thee in alle thingis whiche thou doist;
22 E aconteceu naquele tempo que Abimeleque e Ficol, capitão-chefe de seu exército, falou a Abraão, dizendo: Deus está contigo em tudo que tu fazes;
23 therfore swere thou bi God that thou noye not me, and myn eiris, and my kynrede; but bi the mersi whych Y dide to thee, do thou to me, and to the lond in which thou lyuedist a comelyng.
23 por isso, agora, jura a mim por Deus que não agirás falsamente comigo, nem com meu filho, nem com o filho de meu filho, mas, de acordo com a bondade que eu te fiz, tu farás comigo, e para com a terra na qual peregrinaste.
24 And Abraham seide, Y schal swere.
24 E Abraão disse: Eu jurarei.
25 And he blamyde Abymelech for the pit of watir, which hise seruauntis token awey bi violence.
25 E Abraão repreendeu Abimeleque por causa de um poço de água, que os servos de Abimeleque tinham tomado violentamente.
26 And Abymelech answerde, I wiste not who dide this thing, but also thou schewidist not to me, and Y herde not outakun to dai.
26 E Abimeleque disse: Eu não sei quem fez isso, nem tampouco me contaste, nem ouvi a respeito disso, a não ser hoje.
27 And so Abraham took scheep and oxun, and yaf to Abymalech, and bothe smyten a boond of pees.
27 E Abraão tomou ovelhas e bois, e os deu a Abimeleque, e os dois fizeram um pacto.
28 And Abraham settide seuene ewe lambren of the flok asidis half.
28 E Abraão pôs à parte sete cordeiras do rebanho.
29 And Abymelech seide to hym, What wolen these seuene ewe lambren to hem silf, whiche thou madist stonde asidis half?
29 E Abimeleque disse a Abraão: O que significam essas sete cordeiras que puseste à parte?
30 And he seide, Thou schalt take of myn hond seuene ewe lambren, that tho be in to witnessyng to me, for Y diggide this pit.
30 E ele disse: Estas sete cordeiras tomarás da minha mão, para que sejam uma testemunha para mim de que eu cavei este poço.
31 Therfor thilke place was clepid Bersabee, for euere eithir swore there;
31 Por isso, chamou aquele lugar Berseba, porque ambos juraram ali.
32 and thei maden boond of pees for the pit of an ooth.
32 Assim, eles fizeram um pacto em Berseba; então levantaram-se Abimeleque e Ficol, o capitão-chefe do seu exército, e eles retornaram à terra dos filisteus.
33 Forsothe Abymelech roos, and Ficol, prince of his chyualrie, and thei turneden ayen in to the lond of Palestyns. Sotheli Abraham plauntide a wode in Bersabee, and inwardli clepide there the name of euerlastinge God;
33 E Abraão plantou um bosque em Berseba, e invocou ali o nome do SENHOR, o Deus eterno.
34 and he was an erthetiliere ether a comelynge of the lond of Palestynes in many dayes.
34 E Abraão peregrinou na terra dos filisteus muitos dias.
