1 And it was doon in the seuenthe yeer, in the fyuethe monethe, in the tenthe dai of the monethe, men of the eldris of Israel camen to axe the Lord; and thei saten bifor me.
1 E aconteceu, no sétimo ano, no mês quinto, aos dez do mês, que vieram alguns dos anciãos de Israel para consultarem o Senhor ; e assentaram-se diante de mim.
2 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 Então, veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
3 and he seide, Sone of man, speke thou to the eldere men of Israel; and thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Whether ye camen to axe me? Y lyue, for Y schal not answere to you, seith the Lord God. Sone of man,
3 Filho do homem, fala aos anciãos de Israel e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Vós vindes consultar-me? Vivo eu, que vós não me consultareis, diz o Senhor Jeová .
4 if thou demest hem, if thou demest, schewe thou to hem the abhomynaciouns of her fadris.
4 Julgá-los-ias tu, ó filho do homem, julgá-los-ias? Faze-lhes saber as abominações de seus pais;
5 And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, In the dai in which Y chees Israel, and reiside myn hond for the generacioun of the hous of Jacob, and Y apperide to hem in the lond of Egipt, and Y reiside myn hond for hem, and Y seide, Y am youre Lord God,
5 e dize-lhes: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : No dia em que escolhi a Israel, levantei a mão para a descendência da casa de Jacó, e me dei a conhecer a eles na terra do Egito, e levantei a mão para eles, dizendo: Eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus.
6 in that dai Y reiside myn hond for hem, that Y schulde leede hem out of the lond of Egipt, in to the lond which Y hadde purueiede to hem, the lond flowynge with mylk and hony, which is noble among alle londis.
6 Naquele dia, levantei a mão para eles, para os tirar da terra do Egito para uma terra que tinha previsto para eles, a qual mana leite e mel e é a glória de todas as terras.
7 And Y seide to hem, Ech man caste awei the offenciouns of hise iyen, and nyle ye be defoulid in the idols of Egipt; Y am youre Lord God.
7 Então, lhes disse: Cada um lance de si as abominações dos seus olhos, e não vos contamineis com os ídolos do Egito; eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus.
8 And thei terriden me to wraththe, and nolden here me; ech man castide not awei the abhomynaciouns of hise iyen, nether thei forsoken the idols of Egipt.
8 Mas rebelaram-se contra mim e não me quiseram ouvir; ninguém lançava de si as abominações dos seus olhos, nem deixava os ídolos do Egito; então, eu disse que derramaria sobre eles o meu furor, para cumprir a minha ira contra eles no meio da terra do Egito.
9 And Y seide, that Y wold schede out myn indignacioun on hem, and fille my wraththe in hem, in the myddis of the lond of Egipt. And Y dide for my name, that it schulde not be defoulid bifore hethene men, in the myddis of whiche thei weren, and among whiche Y apperide to hem, that Y schulde lede hem out of the lond of Egipt.
9 O que fiz, porém, foi por amor do meu nome, para que não fosse profanado diante dos olhos das nações, no meio das quais eles estavam, a cujos olhos eu me dei a conhecer a eles, para os tirar da terra do Egito.
10 Therfor Y castide hem out of the lond of Egipt, and Y ledde hem out in to desert;
10 E os tirei da terra do Egito e os levei ao deserto.
11 and Y yaf to hem my comaundementis, and Y schewide to hem my doomes, which a man schal do, and lyue in tho.
11 E dei-lhes os meus estatutos e lhes mostrei os meus juízos, os quais, cumprindo-os o homem, viverá por eles.
12 Ferthermore and Y yaf to hem my sabatis, that it schulde be a sygne bitwixe me and hem, and that thei schulden wite, that Y am the Lord halewynge hem.
12 E também lhes dei os meus sábados, para que servissem de sinal entre mim e eles, para que soubessem que eu sou o Senhor que os santifica.
13 And the hous of Israel terriden me to wraththe in desert; thei yeden not in my comaundementis, and thei castiden awei my domes, whiche a man that doith, schal lyue in tho; and thei defouliden greetli my sabatis. Therfor Y seide, that Y wolde schede out my strong veniaunce on hem in desert, and waste hem;
13 Mas a casa de Israel se rebelou contra mim no deserto, não andando nos meus estatutos e rejeitando os meus juízos, os quais, cumprindo-os o homem, viverá por eles; e profanaram grandemente os meus sábados; e eu disse que derramaria sobre eles o meu furor no deserto, para os consumir.
14 and Y dide for my name, lest it were defoulid bifor hethene men, fro whiche Y castide hem out in the siyt of tho.
14 O que fiz, porém, foi por amor do meu nome, para que não fosse profanado diante dos olhos das nações perante as quais os fiz sair.
15 Therfor Y reiside myn hond on hem in the desert, that Y brouyte not hem in to the lond which Y yaf to hem, the lond flowynge with mylk and hony, the beste of alle londis.
15 E, contudo, eu levantei a mão para eles no deserto, para os não deixar entrar na terra que lhes tinha dado, a qual mana leite e mel e é a glória de todas as terras.
16 For thei castiden awei my domes, and yeden not in my comaundementis, and thei defouliden my sabatis; for the herte of hem yede after idols.
16 Porque rejeitaram os meus juízos, e não andaram nos meus estatutos, e profanaram os meus sábados; porque o seu coração andava após os seus ídolos.
17 And myn iye sparide on hem, that Y killide not hem, nether Y wastide hem in the desert.
17 Não obstante, o meu olho lhes perdoou, para não os destruir nem os consumir no deserto.
18 Forsothe Y seide to the sones of hem in wildirnesse, Nyle ye go in the comaundementis of youre fadris, nether kepe ye the domes of hem, nethir be ye defoulid in the idols of hem.
18 Mas disse eu a seus filhos no deserto: Não andeis nos estatutos de vossos pais, nem guardeis os seus juízos, nem vos contamineis com os seus ídolos.
19 Y am youre Lord God, go ye in my comaundementis, and kepe ye my domes, and do ye tho.
19 Eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus; andai nos meus estatutos, e guardai os meus juízos, e executai-os.
20 And halowe ye my sabatis, that it be a signe bitwixe me and you, and that it be knowun, that Y am youre Lord God.
20 E santificai os meus sábados, e servirão de sinal entre mim e vós, para que saibais que eu sou o Senhor , vosso Deus.
21 And the sones terriden me to wraththe, and yeden not in my comaundementis, and kepten not my domes, that thei diden tho, whiche whanne a man hath do, he schal lyue in tho, and thei defouliden my sabatis. And Y manaasside to hem, that Y wolde schede out my stronge veniaunce on hem, and fille my wraththe in hem in the desert.
21 Mas também os filhos se rebelaram contra mim e não andaram nos meus estatutos, nem guardaram os meus juízos, os quais, cumprindo-os o homem, viverá por eles; eles profanaram os meus sábados; por isso, eu disse que derramaria sobre eles o meu furor, para cumprir contra eles a minha ira no deserto.
22 But Y turnede awei myn hond, and Y dide this for my name, that it were not defoulid bifore hethene men, fro whiche Y castide hem out bifore the iyen of tho.
22 Mas contive a mão e o fiz por amor do meu nome, para que não fosse profanado aos olhos das nações, à vista das quais os fiz sair.
23 Eft Y reiside myn hond ayens hem in wildirnesse, that Y schulde scatere hem in to naciouns, and wyndewe hem in to londis;
23 Também levantei a mão para eles no deserto, para os espalhar entre as nações e os derramar pelas terras;
24 for that that thei hadden not do my domes, and hadden repreuyd my comaundementis, and hadden defoulid my sabatis, and her iyen hadden be after the idols of her fadris.
24 porque não executaram os meus juízos, e rejeitaram os meus estatutos, e profanaram os meus sábados, e os seus olhos se iam após os ídolos de seus pais.
25 Therfor and Y yaf to hem comaundementis not good, and domes in whiche thei schulen not lyue.
25 Pelo que também lhes dei estatutos que não eram bons, e juízos pelos quais não haviam de viver;
26 And Y defoulide hem in her yiftis, whanne thei offriden to me for her trespassis al thing that openeth the wombe; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
26 e os contaminei em seus próprios dons, nos quais faziam passar pelo fogo tudo o que abre a madre; para os assolar, para que soubessem que eu sou o Senhor .
27 Wherfor speke thou, sone of man, to the hous of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Yit and in this youre fadris blasfemyden me, whanne thei dispisynge hadden forsake me,
27 Portanto, fala à casa de Israel, ó filho do homem, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Ainda nisto me blasfemaram vossos pais, e transgrediram contra mim.
28 and Y hadde brouyte hem in to the lond on which Y reiside myn hond, that Y schulde yiue to hem, thei siyen ech hiy litil hil, and ech tree ful of boowis, and thei offriden there her sacrifices, and thei yauen there her offryngis, in to terring to wraththe; and thei settiden there the odour of her swetnesse, and thei offriden her moiste sacrifices.
28 Porque, havendo-os eu introduzido na terra sobre a qual eu levantara a mão, para lha dar, então, olharam para todo outeiro alto e para toda árvore frondosa, e sacrificaram ali os seus sacrifícios, e apresentaram ali a provocação das suas ofertas, e puseram ali os seus cheiros suaves, e ali derramaram as suas libações.
29 And Y seide to hem, What is the hiy thing, to whiche ye entren? And the name therof is clepid Hiy Thing til to this dai.
29 E eu lhes disse: Que alto é este, aonde vós ides? E seu nome tem sido Bamá, até ao dia de hoje.
30 Therfor seie thou to the hous of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, Certis ye ben defoulid in the weie of youre fadris, and ye don fornycacioun aftir the offendingis of hem,
30 Portanto, dize à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Vós vos contaminais a vós mesmos, à maneira de vossos pais? E vos prostituís com as suas abominações?
31 and in the offryng of youre yiftis, whanne ye leden ouer youre sones bi fier, ye ben defoulid in alle youre idols til to dai, and schal Y answere to you, the hous of Israel? Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Y schal not answere to you;
31 E, quando ofereceis os vossos dons e fazeis passar os vossos filhos pelo fogo, não é certo que estais contaminados com todos os vossos ídolos, até este dia? E vós me consultaríeis, ó casa de Israel? Vivo eu, diz o Senhor Jeová , que vós me não consultareis.
32 nether the thouyte of youre soul schal be don, that seien, We schulen be as hethene men, and as naciouns of erthe, that we worschipe trees and stoonys.
32 E o que veio ao vosso espírito de maneira alguma sucederá, quando dizeis: Seremos como as nações, como as outras gerações da terra, servindo ao madeiro e à pedra.
33 Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for in strong hond, and in arm stretchid forth, and in strong veniaunce sched out, I schal regne on you.
33 Vivo eu, diz o Senhor Jeová , que, com mão forte, e com braço estendido, e com indignação derramada, hei de reinar sobre vós;
34 And Y schal lede out you fro puplis, and Y schal gadere you fro londis, in whiche ye ben scaterid; in strong hond, and in arm stretchid forth, and in strong veniaunce sched out Y schal regne on you.
34 e vos tirarei dentre os povos e vos congregarei das terras nas quais andais espalhados, com mão forte, e com braço estendido, e com indignação derramada.
35 And Y schal bringe you in to desert of puplis, and Y schal be demed there with you face to face.
35 E vos levarei ao deserto dos povos e ali entrarei em juízo convosco face a face.
36 As Y stryuede in doom ayens youre fadris in the desert of the lond of Egipt, so Y schal deme you, seith the Lord;
36 Como entrei em juízo com vossos pais, no deserto da terra do Egito, assim entrarei em juízo convosco, diz o Senhor Jeová .
37 and Y schal make you suget to my septre, and Y schal bringe in you in the boondis of pees.
37 E vos farei passar debaixo da vara e vos farei entrar no vínculo do concerto;
38 And Y schal chese of you trespassouris, and wickid men; and Y schal leede hem out of the lond of her dwelling, and thei schulen not entre in to the lond of Israel; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
38 e separarei dentre vós os rebeldes e os que prevaricaram contra mim; da terra das suas peregrinações os tirarei, mas à terra de Israel não voltarão; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor .
39 And ye, the hous of Israel, the Lord God seith these thingis, Go ye ech man aftir youre idols, and serue ye tho. That and if ye heren not me in this, and defoulen more myn hooli name in youre yiftis,
39 Quanto a vós, ó casa de Israel, assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Ide, sirva cada um aos seus ídolos, pois que a mim me não quereis ouvir; mas não profaneis mais o meu santo nome com as vossas dádivas e com os vossos ídolos.
40 and in youre idols, in myn hooli hil, in the hiy hil of Israel, seith the Lord God, ye schulen be punyschid greuousliere. There al the hous of Israel schal serue me, sotheli alle men in the lond, in which thei schulen plese me; and there Y schal seke youre firste fruytis, and the bigynnyng of youre tithis in alle youre halewyngis.
40 Porque no meu santo monte, no monte alto de Israel, diz o Senhor Jeová , ali me servirá toda a casa de Israel, toda ela naquela terra; ali me deleitarei neles e ali demandarei as vossas ofertas alçadas e as primícias das vossas dádivas, com todas as vossas coisas santas.
41 Y schal resseiue you in to odour of swetnesse, whanne Y schal leede you out of puplis, and schal gadere you fro londis, in whiche ye weren scaterid; and Y schal be halewid in you bifor the iyen of naciouns.
41 Com cheiro suave me deleitarei em vós, quando eu vos tirar dentre os povos e vos congregar das terras em que andais espalhados; e serei santificado em vós ante os olhos das nações.
42 And ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal bringe you in to the lond of Israel, in to the lond for which Y reiside myn hond, that Y schulde yyue it to youre fadris.
42 E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor , quando eu vos fizer voltar à terra de Israel, à terra para a qual levantei a mão, para a dar a vossos pais.
43 And ye schulen haue mynde there on youre weies, and on alle youre grete trespassis, bi whiche ye ben defoulid in tho; and ye schulen displese you in youre siyt, in alle youre malices whiche ye diden.
43 E ali vos lembrareis de vossos caminhos e de todos os vossos atos com que vos contaminastes e tereis nojo de vós mesmos, por todas as vossas maldades que tendes cometido.
44 And ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal do wel to you for my name; not bi youre yuel weies, nether bi youre worste trespassis, ye hous of Israel, seith the Lord God.
44 E sabereis que eu sou o Senhor , quando eu proceder para convosco por amor do meu nome, não conforme os vossos maus caminhos, nem conforme os vossos atos corruptos, ó casa de Israel, disse o Senhor Jeová .
45 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
45 E veio a mim a palavra do Senhor , dizendo:
46 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the weie of the south, and droppe thou to the south, and profesie thou to the forest of the myddai feeld.
46 Filho do homem, dirige o rosto para o caminho do Sul, e derrama as tuas palavras contra o Sul, e profetiza contra o bosque do campo do Sul.
47 And thou schalt seie to the myddai forest, Here thou the word of the Lord. The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal kyndle a fier in thee, and Y schal brenne in thee ech green tre, and ech drie tre; the flawme of brennyng schal not be quenchid, and ech face schal be brent ther ynne, fro the south til to the north.
47 E dize ao bosque do Sul: Ouve a palavra do Senhor : Assim diz o Senhor Jeová : Eis que acenderei em ti um fogo que em ti consumirá toda árvore verde e toda árvore seca; não se apagará a chama flamejante; antes, com ela se queimarão todos os rostos, desde o Sul até ao Norte.
48 And ech man schal se, that Y the Lord haue kyndlid it, and it schal not be quenchid.
48 E verá toda carne que eu, o Senhor , o acendi; não se apagará.
49 And Y seide, A! A! A! Lord God, thei seien of me, Whethir this man spekith not bi parablis?
49 Então, disse eu: Ah! Senhor Jeová ! Eles dizem de mim: Não é este um dizedor de parábolas?
