1 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron in the lond of Egipt,
1 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés e a Arão no Egito:
2 This monethe, the bigynnyng of monethis to you, schal be the firste in the monethis of the yeer.
2 “De agora em diante, este mês será para vocês o primeiro do ano.
3 Speke ye to al the cumpanye of the sones of Israel, and seie ye to hem, In the tenthe dai of this monethe ech man take a lomb by hise meynees and housis;
3 Anunciem a toda a comunidade de Israel que, no décimo dia deste mês, cada família escolherá um cordeiro ou um cabrito para fazer um sacrifício, um animal para cada casa.
4 but if the noumbre is lesse, that it may not suffice to ete the lomb, he schal take his neiybore, which is ioyned to his hows, bi the noumbre of soulis, that moun suffice to the etyng of the lomb.
4 A família que for pequena demais para comer um animal inteiro deverá compartilhá-lo com outra família da vizinhança. O animal será dividido de acordo com o número de pessoas e a quantidade que cada um puder comer.
5 Forsothe the lomb schal be a male of o yeer, without wem; bi which custom ye schulen take also a kide;
5 O animal escolhido deverá ser um cordeiro ou um cabrito de um ano, sem defeito algum.
6 and ye schulen kepe hym til to the fouretenthe dai of this monethe; and al the multitude of the sones of Israel schal offre hym at euentid.
6 “Guardem bem o animal escolhido até a tarde do décimo quarto dia do primeiro mês. Nesse dia, toda a comunidade de Israel sacrificará seu cordeiro ou cabrito ao anoitecer.
7 And thei schulen take of his blood, and schulen put on euer either post, and in lyntels, `ether hiyer threschfoldis, of the housis, in whiche thei schulen ete hym;
7 Em seguida, tomarão um pouco do sangue e o passarão nos batentes laterais e no alto das portas das casas onde comerem o animal.
8 and in that niyt thei schulen ete fleischis, roostid with fier, and therf looues, with letusis of the feeld.
8 Nessa mesma noite, assarão a carne no fogo e a comerão acompanhada de folhas verdes amargas e de pão sem fermento.
9 Ye schulen not ete therof ony raw thing, nether sodun in watir, but roostid oneli by fier; ye schulen deuoure the heed with feet and entrailis therof;
9 Não comerão a carne crua nem cozida. O animal todo, incluindo a cabeça, as pernas e as vísceras, deverá ser assado no fogo.
10 nether ony thing therof schal abide til the morewtid; if ony thing is residue, ye schulen brenne in the fier.
10 Não deixem sobras para a manhã seguinte. Queimem o que não for consumido antes do amanhecer.
11 Forsothe thus ye schulen ete hym; ye schulen girde youre reynes, and ye schulen haue schoon in the feet, and ye schulen holde stauys in hondis, and ye schulen ete hastili; for it is fase, that is, the passyng of the Lord.
11 “Estas são as instruções para quando fizerem a refeição. Estejam vestidos para a viagem, de sandálias nos pés e cajado na mão. Façam a refeição apressadamente, pois é a Páscoa do S enhor .
12 And Y schal passe thorou the lond of Egipt in that niyt, and Y schal smyte al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro man til to beeste; and Y the Lord schal make domes in alle the goddis of Egipt.
12 Nessa noite, passarei pela terra do Egito e matarei todos os filhos mais velhos e todos os primeiros machos dentre os animais na terra do Egito. Executarei juízo sobre todos os deuses do Egito, pois eu sou o S enhor .
13 Forsothe blood schal be to you in to signe, in the housis in whiche ye schulen be; and Y schal se the blood, and Y schal passe you; nether a wounde distriynge schal be in you, whanne Y schal smyte the lond of Egipt.
13 Mas o sangue nos batentes das portas servirá de sinal e marcará as casas onde vocês estão. Quando eu vir o sangue, passarei por sobre aquela casa. E, quando eu ferir a terra do Egito, a praga de morte não os tocará.
14 Forsothe ye schulen haue this dai in to mynde, and `ye schulen make it solempne to the Lord in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge worschipyng.
14 “Este será um dia a ser recordado. Todo ano, de geração em geração, vocês o celebrarão como festa especial para o S enhor . Essa é uma lei permanente.
15 In seuene daies ye schulen ete therf breed; in the firste dai no thing diyt with sour douy schal be in youre housis; who euer schal ete ony thing diyt with sour douy, fro the firste dai til the seuenthe dai, that soule schal perische fro Israel.
15 Durante sete dias, comerão pão sem fermento. No primeiro dia da festa, removerão das casas qualquer mínima quantidade de fermento. Quem comer pão com fermento durante algum dos sete dias da festa será eliminado do meio de Israel.
16 The firste day schal be hooli and solempne, and the seuenthe dai schal be worschipful bi the same halewyng; ye schulen not do ony werk in tho daies, outakun these thingis that perteynen to mete;
16 No primeiro e no sétimo dia da festa, todo o povo celebrará um dia oficial de reunião sagrada. Não será permitido nenhum tipo de trabalho nessas datas, exceto o preparo da comida.
17 and ye schulen kepe therf breed. For in that same dai Y schal lede out of the lond of Egipt youre oost; and ye schulen kepe this dai in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge custom.
17 “Celebrem a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento, pois ela os lembrará de que eu tirei suas multidões da terra do Egito exatamente nesse dia. A festa será uma lei permanente para vocês; celebrem-na nesse dia de geração em geração.
18 In the first monethe, in the fouretenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, ye schulen ete therf breed, til to the oon and twentithe dai of the same monethe at euentid.
18 O pão que comerem será preparado sem fermento desde a tarde do décimo quarto dia do primeiro mês até a tarde do vigésimo primeiro dia do mesmo mês.
19 In seuene dayes no thing `diyt with sour douy schal be foundun in youre housis; if ony etith ony thing diyt with sour dow, his soule schal perische fro the cumpeny of Israel, as wel of comelyngis, as of hem that ben borun in the lond.
19 Durante os sete dias, não deverá haver qualquer mínima quantidade de fermento em suas casas. Quem comer algo preparado com fermento durante a semana será eliminado do meio de Israel. Essas regras se aplicam tanto aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês como aos israelitas de nascimento.
20 Ye schulen not ete ony thing diyt with sour dow, and ye schulen ete therf breed in alle youre dwellyng placis.
20 Durante esses dias, não comam coisa alguma preparada com fermento. Onde quer que morarem, comam apenas pão sem fermento”.
21 Forsothe Moises clepide alle the eldre men of the sones of Israel, and seide to hem, Go ye, and take a beeste by youre meynees, and offre ye fase; and dippe ye a bundel of isope,
21 Em seguida, Moisés mandou chamar todos os líderes de Israel e lhes disse: “Vão, escolham um cordeiro ou um cabrito para cada família e sacrifiquem o animal para a Páscoa.
22 in the blood which `is in the threisfold, and sprynge ye therof the lyntel, and euer either post; noon of you schal go out at the dore of his hows til the morewtid.
22 Deixem o sangue escorrer para uma vasilha. Tomem um feixe de ramos de hissopo e molhem-no com o sangue. Usando o hissopo, passem o sangue nos batentes laterais e no alto da porta das casas. Ninguém saia de casa até o amanhecer,
23 For the Lord schal passe smytynge Egipcians; and whanne he schal se the blood in the lyntel, and in euer either post, he schal passe the dore of the hows; and he schal not suffre the smytere to entre in to youre housis, and to hirte.
23 pois o S enhor passará pela terra para ferir mortalmente os egípcios. Mas, quando ele vir o sangue nas laterais e no alto da porta, passará por sobre aquela casa. Não permitirá que o anjo da morte entre em suas casas para matar vocês.
24 Kepe thou this word; it schal be a lawful thing to thee and to thi sones til in to with outen ende.
24 “Lembrem-se de que estas instruções são uma lei que vocês e seus descendentes deverão cumprir para sempre.
25 And whanne ye schulen entre in to the lond which the Lord schal yyue to you, as he bihiyte, ye schulen kepe these cerymonyes;
25 Quando entrarem na terra que o S enhor prometeu lhes dar, continuarão a realizar essa cerimônia.
26 and whanne youre sones schulen seie to you, What is this religioun? ye schulen seie to hem,
26 Então seus filhos perguntarão: ‘O que significa esta cerimônia?’,
27 It is the sacrifice of the passyng of the Lord, whanne he passide ouer the housis of the sones of Israel in Egipt, and smoot Egipcians, and delyueride oure housis. And the puple was bowid, and worschipide.
27 e vocês responderão: ‘É o sacrifício da Páscoa para o S enhor , pois ele passou por sobre as casas dos israelitas no Egito. E, embora tenha abatido os egípcios, poupou nossas famílias’”. Então todos que ali estavam se prostraram e adoraram.
28 And the sones of Israel yeden out, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and to Aaron.
28 Assim, o povo de Israel fez conforme o S enhor havia ordenado por meio de Moisés e Arão.
29 Forsothe it was doon in the myddis of the nyyt, the Lord smoot al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro the firste gendrid of Farao, that sat in the trone of hym, til to the first gendrid of the caitif womman, that was in the prisoun, and alle the first gendrid of beestis.
29 À meia-noite, o S enhor feriu mortalmente todos os filhos mais velhos da terra do Egito, desde o filho mais velho do faraó, sentado em seu trono, até o filho mais velho do prisioneiro no calabouço. Até mesmo os primeiros machos dentre os animais foram mortos.
30 And Farao roos in the nyyt, and alle hise seruauntis, and al Egipt; and a greet cry was maad in Egipt, for noon hows was, in which a deed man lay not.
30 O faraó, todos os seus oficiais e todo o povo egípcio acordaram durante a noite, e ouviu-se um grande lamento em toda a terra do Egito. Não houve uma só casa onde não morresse alguém.
31 And whanne Moises and Aaron weren clepid in the nyyt, Farao seide, Rise ye, go ye out fro my puple, bothe ye and the sones of Israel; go ye, offre ye to the Lord, as ye seien;
31 No meio da noite, o faraó mandou chamar Moisés e Arão. “Saiam daqui!”, ordenou ele. “Deixem meu povo e levem os demais israelitas com vocês. Vão e adorem o S enhor , como pediram.
32 take ye youre scheep and greete beestis, as ye axiden; and go ye, and blesse ye me.
32 Levem seus rebanhos, como disseram, e sumam daqui! Vão embora, mas abençoem-me ao sair.”
33 And Egipcians constreyneden the puple to go out of the lond swiftli, and seiden, All we schulen die!
33 Os egípcios pressionavam o povo de Israel para que deixasse a terra quanto antes, pois pensavam: “Vamos todos morrer!”.
34 Therfor the puple took meele spreynd togidere, bifor that it was diyt with sour douy; and boond in mentils, and puttide on her schuldris.
34 Os israelitas levaram a massa de pão sem fermento, embrulharam as vasilhas em seus mantos e as colocaram sobre os ombros.
35 And the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises; and thei axiden of Egipcians siluerne vesselis and goldun, and ful myche clooth.
35 Seguindo as instruções de Moisés, pediram aos egípcios que lhes dessem roupas e objetos de prata e ouro.
36 Forsothe the Lord yaf grace to the puple bifor Egipcians, that the Egipcians lenten to hem; and thei maden bare Egipcians.
36 O S enhor fez os egípcios serem bondosos com o povo, de modo que lhes entregaram tudo que pediram. Assim, os israelitas tomaram para si as riquezas dos egípcios.
37 And the sones of Israel yeden forth fro Ramasses in to Socoth, almest sixe hundrid thousind of foot men, with out litle children and wymmen;
37 Naquela mesma noite, os israelitas partiram de Ramessés rumo a Sucote. Havia cerca de seiscentos mil homens, além das mulheres e crianças.
38 but also comyn puple of malis and femalis vnnoumbrable stieden with hem; scheep, and oxun, and ful many beestis of diuerse kynde, stieden with hem.
38 Saiu com eles uma mistura de gente que não era israelita, além de imensos rebanhos de ovelhas, bois e outros animais.
39 And thei bakiden meele, which spreynd to gidere `a while ago thei token fro Egipt, and maden therf looues bakun vnder the aischis; for the looues miyten not be diyt with sour dow, for Egipcians compelliden to go out, and suffriden not to make ony tariyng, nether it was leiser to make ony seew.
39 Com a massa sem fermento que haviam levado do Egito, assaram pães achatados. A massa era sem fermento, pois foram expulsos do Egito com tanta pressa que não tiveram tempo de preparar alimento para a viagem.
40 Forsothe the dwellyng of the sones of Israel, bi which thei dwelliden in Egipt, was of foure hundrid and thretti yeer;
40 O povo de Israel tinha vivido 430 anos no Egito.
41 and whanne tho weren fillid, al the oost of the Lord yede out of the lond of Egipt in the same dai.
41 Na verdade, essa grande multidão do S enhor deixou a terra exatamente no dia em que se completaram os 430 anos.
42 This nyyt is worthi to be kept in the worschipyng of the Lord, whanne he ladde hem out of the lond of Egipt; alle the sones of Israel owen to kepe this in her generaciouns.
42 O S enhor passou a noite toda em vigília para tirar seu povo do Egito. Essa, portanto, é a noite do S enhor e deverá ser celebrada por todos os israelitas, de geração em geração.
43 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron, This is the religioun of fase; ech alien schal not ete therof;
43 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés e a Arão: “Estas são as instruções para a festa da Páscoa. Nenhum estrangeiro poderá comer a ceia de Páscoa.
44 sotheli ech seruaunt bouyt schal be circumcidid, and so he schal ete;
44 O escravo comprado poderá participar se for circuncidado.
45 a comelyng and hirid man schulen not ete therof;
45 Os residentes temporários e os empregados não poderão participar.
46 it schal be etun in oon hows; nether ye schulen bere out of the fleischis therof; nether ye schulen breke a boon therof.
46 Cada cordeiro de Páscoa será comido em uma só casa. Nenhum pedaço de carne será levado para fora, e nenhum osso do cordeiro será quebrado.
47 Ech company of the sones of Israel schal make that fase;
47 Toda a comunidade de Israel celebrará a festa da Páscoa.
48 that if ony pilgrym wole passe into youre feith and worschipyng, and make fase of the Lord, ech male kynde of hym schal be circumcidid bifore, and thanne he schal make lawfuli, and he schal be to gidere as a man borun of the lond; forsothe if ony man is not circumcidid, he schal not ete therof.
48 “Se os estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês quiserem celebrar a Páscoa do S enhor , todos os homens dentre eles devem ser circuncidados. Só então poderão celebrar a Páscoa com vocês, como qualquer israelita de nascimento. Os homens que não forem circuncidados, porém, jamais poderão participar da ceia de Páscoa.
49 The same lawe schal be to a man borun of the lond, and to a comelyng, that takith youre feith, which is a pilgrym anentis you.
49 Essa instrução se aplica a todos, tanto aos israelitas de nascimento como aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês”.
50 And alle the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and Aaron.
50 Todo o povo de Israel seguiu as ordens que o S enhor deu a Moisés e a Arão.
51 And in the same dai the Lord ladde out of `the lond of Egipt the sones of Israel, bi her cumpanies.
51 Naquele mesmo dia, o S enhor tirou os israelitas da terra do Egito como um exército.
