1 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron in the lond of Egipt,
1 O Senhor Deus falou com Moisés e Arão no Egito. Ele disse:
2 This monethe, the bigynnyng of monethis to you, schal be the firste in the monethis of the yeer.
2 — Este mês será para vocês o primeiro mês do ano.
3 Speke ye to al the cumpanye of the sones of Israel, and seie ye to hem, In the tenthe dai of this monethe ech man take a lomb by hise meynees and housis;
3 Diga a todo o povo israelita o seguinte: no dia dez deste mês cada pai de família escolherá um carneirinho ou um cabrito para a sua família, isto é, um animal para cada casa.
4 but if the noumbre is lesse, that it may not suffice to ete the lomb, he schal take his neiybore, which is ioyned to his hows, bi the noumbre of soulis, that moun suffice to the etyng of the lomb.
4 Se a família for pequena demais para comer o animal inteiro, então o dono da casa e o seu vizinho mais próximo o comerão juntos, repartindo-o de acordo com o número de pessoas e a quantidade que cada um puder comer.
5 Forsothe the lomb schal be a male of o yeer, without wem; bi which custom ye schulen take also a kide;

6 and ye schulen kepe hym til to the fouretenthe dai of this monethe; and al the multitude of the sones of Israel schal offre hym at euentid.
6 Vocês o guardarão até o dia catorze deste mês, e na tarde desse dia todo o povo israelita matará os animais.
7 And thei schulen take of his blood, and schulen put on euer either post, and in lyntels, `ether hiyer threschfoldis, of the housis, in whiche thei schulen ete hym;
7 Pegarão um pouco do sangue e o passarão nos batentes dos lados e de cima das portas das casas onde os animais vão ser comidos.
8 and in that niyt thei schulen ete fleischis, roostid with fier, and therf looues, with letusis of the feeld.
8 Nessa noite a carne deverá ser assada na brasa e comida com pães sem fermento e com ervas amargas.
9 Ye schulen not ete therof ony raw thing, nether sodun in watir, but roostid oneli by fier; ye schulen deuoure the heed with feet and entrailis therof;
9 A carne não deverá ser comida crua nem cozida; o animal inteiro, incluindo a cabeça, as pernas e os miúdos, será assado na brasa.
10 nether ony thing therof schal abide til the morewtid; if ony thing is residue, ye schulen brenne in the fier.
10 Não deixem nada para o dia seguinte e queimem o que sobrar.
11 Forsothe thus ye schulen ete hym; ye schulen girde youre reynes, and ye schulen haue schoon in the feet, and ye schulen holde stauys in hondis, and ye schulen ete hastili; for it is fase, that is, the passyng of the Lord.
11 Já vestidos, calçados e segurando o bastão, comam depressa o animal. Esta é a Páscoa de Deus, o Senhor .
12 And Y schal passe thorou the lond of Egipt in that niyt, and Y schal smyte al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro man til to beeste; and Y the Lord schal make domes in alle the goddis of Egipt.
12 — Nessa noite eu passarei pela terra do Egito e matarei todos os primeiros filhos, tanto das pessoas como dos animais. E castigarei todos os deuses do Egito. Eu sou o Senhor .
13 Forsothe blood schal be to you in to signe, in the housis in whiche ye schulen be; and Y schal se the blood, and Y schal passe you; nether a wounde distriynge schal be in you, whanne Y schal smyte the lond of Egipt.
13 O sangue nos batentes das portas será um sinal para marcar as casas onde vocês moram. Quando estiver castigando o Egito, eu verei o sangue e então passarei por vocês sem parar, para que não sejam destruídos por essa praga.
14 Forsothe ye schulen haue this dai in to mynde, and `ye schulen make it solempne to the Lord in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge worschipyng.
14 Comemorem esse dia como festa religiosa para lembrar que eu, o Senhor , fiz isso. Vocês e os seus descendentes devem comemorar a Festa da Páscoa para sempre.
15 In seuene daies ye schulen ete therf breed; in the firste dai no thing diyt with sour douy schal be in youre housis; who euer schal ete ony thing diyt with sour douy, fro the firste dai til the seuenthe dai, that soule schal perische fro Israel.
15 — Durante sete dias vocês comerão pão sem fermento . Por isso, no primeiro dia tirem o fermento das suas casas. Pois qualquer pessoa que comer pão feito com fermento, desde o primeiro até o sétimo dia, será expulsa do meio do povo de Israel.
16 The firste day schal be hooli and solempne, and the seuenthe dai schal be worschipful bi the same halewyng; ye schulen not do ony werk in tho daies, outakun these thingis that perteynen to mete;
16 No primeiro dia e também no sétimo, façam uma reunião para adorar a Deus. Nenhum trabalho será feito nesses dias, a não ser para preparar comida.
17 and ye schulen kepe therf breed. For in that same dai Y schal lede out of the lond of Egipt youre oost; and ye schulen kepe this dai in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge custom.
17 Comemorem a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento no aniversário do dia em que eu tirei do Egito as tribos do povo de Israel. Essa comemoração será uma lei permanente, que passará de pais a filhos.
18 In the first monethe, in the fouretenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, ye schulen ete therf breed, til to the oon and twentithe dai of the same monethe at euentid.
18 Desde a tarde do dia catorze do primeiro mês até a tarde do dia vinte e um do mesmo mês, o pão que vocês comerem será feito sem fermento.
19 In seuene dayes no thing `diyt with sour douy schal be foundun in youre housis; if ony etith ony thing diyt with sour dow, his soule schal perische fro the cumpeny of Israel, as wel of comelyngis, as of hem that ben borun in the lond.
19 Durante esses sete dias não haverá fermento nas suas casas, pois quem comer pão com fermento, seja um estrangeiro que estiver vivendo no país, seja um israelita, será expulso do meio do povo de Israel.
20 Ye schulen not ete ony thing diyt with sour dow, and ye schulen ete therf breed in alle youre dwellyng placis.
20 Portanto, nesses dias não comam nada que tenha fermento. Em todas as suas casas só será comido pão sem fermento.
21 Forsothe Moises clepide alle the eldre men of the sones of Israel, and seide to hem, Go ye, and take a beeste by youre meynees, and offre ye fase; and dippe ye a bundel of isope,
21 Moisés mandou chamar todos os líderes do povo e disse: — Escolham carneiros ou cabritos e os matem para que todas as famílias israelitas possam comemorar a
22 in the blood which `is in the threisfold, and sprynge ye therof the lyntel, and euer either post; noon of you schal go out at the dore of his hows til the morewtid.
22 Peguem um galho de hissopo e o molhem no sangue que estiver na bacia e passem nos batentes dos lados e de cima da porta das suas casas. E que ninguém saia de casa durante toda a noite.
23 For the Lord schal passe smytynge Egipcians; and whanne he schal se the blood in the lyntel, and in euer either post, he schal passe the dore of the hows; and he schal not suffre the smytere to entre in to youre housis, and to hirte.
23 Quando o Senhor passar para matar os egípcios, verá o sangue ali nos batentes e não deixará que o Anjo da Morte entre nas suas casas para matá-los.
24 Kepe thou this word; it schal be a lawful thing to thee and to thi sones til in to with outen ende.
24 Vocês e os seus descendentes devem obedecer a essa ordem para sempre.
25 And whanne ye schulen entre in to the lond which the Lord schal yyue to you, as he bihiyte, ye schulen kepe these cerymonyes;
25 Quando entrarem na terra que o Senhor lhes dará, como prometeu, vocês deverão continuar realizando essa cerimônia religiosa.
26 and whanne youre sones schulen seie to you, What is this religioun? ye schulen seie to hem,
26 Quando os seus filhos perguntarem: “O que quer dizer essa cerimônia?”,
27 It is the sacrifice of the passyng of the Lord, whanne he passide ouer the housis of the sones of Israel in Egipt, and smoot Egipcians, and delyueride oure housis. And the puple was bowid, and worschipide.
27 vocês responderão: “É o sacrifício da Páscoa em honra do Senhor Deus, pois no Egito ele passou pelas casas dos israelitas e não parou. O Senhor matou os egípcios, mas não matou as nossas famílias.” Então os israelitas se ajoelharam e adoraram a Deus, o
28 And the sones of Israel yeden out, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and to Aaron.
28 Depois foram e fizeram tudo o que ele havia ordenado a Moisés e Arão.
29 Forsothe it was doon in the myddis of the nyyt, the Lord smoot al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro the firste gendrid of Farao, that sat in the trone of hym, til to the first gendrid of the caitif womman, that was in the prisoun, and alle the first gendrid of beestis.
29 À meia-noite, o Senhor Deus matou os filhos mais velhos de todas as famílias do Egito, desde o filho do rei, que era o herdeiro do trono, até o filho do prisioneiro que estava na cadeia; e matou também a primeira cria dos animais.
30 And Farao roos in the nyyt, and alle hise seruauntis, and al Egipt; and a greet cry was maad in Egipt, for noon hows was, in which a deed man lay not.
30 Naquela noite o rei, os seus funcionários e todos os outros egípcios saíram da cama. É que em todo o Egito havia gente chorando e gritando, pois em todas as casas havia um filho morto.
31 And whanne Moises and Aaron weren clepid in the nyyt, Farao seide, Rise ye, go ye out fro my puple, bothe ye and the sones of Israel; go ye, offre ye to the Lord, as ye seien;
31 Nessa mesma noite o rei mandou chamar Moisés e Arão e lhes disse: — Saiam daqui, vocês e todos os outros israelitas! Deixem o meu país. Vão adorar a Deus, o
32 take ye youre scheep and greete beestis, as ye axiden; and go ye, and blesse ye me.
32 Peguem as suas ovelhas e cabras e o seu gado e vão embora. E peçam a Deus que me abençoe.
33 And Egipcians constreyneden the puple to go out of the lond swiftli, and seiden, All we schulen die!
33 Os egípcios insistiram com os israelitas para que saíssem do país o mais depressa possível. Eles diziam: — Se vocês não saírem, todos nós morreremos!
34 Therfor the puple took meele spreynd togidere, bifor that it was diyt with sour douy; and boond in mentils, and puttide on her schuldris.
34 Assim, cada família israelita pegou a massa de pão sem fermento , pôs numa bacia, embrulhou a bacia num pano e carregou no ombro.
35 And the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises; and thei axiden of Egipcians siluerne vesselis and goldun, and ful myche clooth.
35 Os israelitas fizeram como Moisés havia ordenado e pediram aos egípcios joias de prata e de ouro e roupas.
36 Forsothe the Lord yaf grace to the puple bifor Egipcians, that the Egipcians lenten to hem; and thei maden bare Egipcians.
36 O Senhor Deus fez com que os egípcios dessem de boa vontade aos israelitas tudo o que eles pediam. Assim o povo de Israel tomou as riquezas dos egípcios.
37 And the sones of Israel yeden forth fro Ramasses in to Socoth, almest sixe hundrid thousind of foot men, with out litle children and wymmen;
37 Os israelitas saíram a pé de Ramessés e foram para Sucote. Eram mais ou menos seiscentos mil homens, sem contar as mulheres, as crianças e os velhos.
38 but also comyn puple of malis and femalis vnnoumbrable stieden with hem; scheep, and oxun, and ful many beestis of diuerse kynde, stieden with hem.
38 Com eles foram muitas outras pessoas, e também muitas ovelhas e cabras, e muito gado.
39 And thei bakiden meele, which spreynd to gidere `a while ago thei token fro Egipt, and maden therf looues bakun vnder the aischis; for the looues miyten not be diyt with sour dow, for Egipcians compelliden to go out, and suffriden not to make ony tariyng, nether it was leiser to make ony seew.
39 Os israelitas fizeram pão sem fermento com a massa que haviam levado do Egito, pois os egípcios os haviam expulsado do país tão de repente, que eles não tinham tido tempo de preparar comida, nem de preparar massa com fermento.
40 Forsothe the dwellyng of the sones of Israel, bi which thei dwelliden in Egipt, was of foure hundrid and thretti yeer;
40 Os israelitas tinham vivido no Egito quatrocentos e trinta anos.
41 and whanne tho weren fillid, al the oost of the Lord yede out of the lond of Egipt in the same dai.
41 No dia em que terminaram os quatrocentos e trinta anos, todas as tribos do povo de Deus, o Senhor , saíram do Egito.
42 This nyyt is worthi to be kept in the worschipyng of the Lord, whanne he ladde hem out of the lond of Egipt; alle the sones of Israel owen to kepe this in her generaciouns.
42 Essa foi a noite em que o Senhor ficou vigiando para tirá-los do Egito. Ela é dedicada ao Senhor para sempre, como a noite que deverá ser comemorada por todos os israelitas.
43 Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron, This is the religioun of fase; ech alien schal not ete therof;
43 O Senhor Deus disse a Moisés e a Arão: — Esta é a
44 sotheli ech seruaunt bouyt schal be circumcidid, and so he schal ete;
44 Porém todo escravo comprado poderá comer dela depois de ser circuncidado .
45 a comelyng and hirid man schulen not ete therof;
45 Os estrangeiros, tanto os que estiverem de passagem como os que estiverem vivendo no país, vivendo de salário, não poderão tomar essa refeição.
46 it schal be etun in oon hows; nether ye schulen bere out of the fleischis therof; nether ye schulen breke a boon therof.
46 Ela deverá ser comida na casa onde foi preparada: não será tirada dali. E não quebrem nenhum osso do animal.
47 Ech company of the sones of Israel schal make that fase;
47 Todo o povo de Israel deve comemorar essa festa religiosa.
48 that if ony pilgrym wole passe into youre feith and worschipyng, and make fase of the Lord, ech male kynde of hym schal be circumcidid bifore, and thanne he schal make lawfuli, and he schal be to gidere as a man borun of the lond; forsothe if ony man is not circumcidid, he schal not ete therof.
48 Não poderão tomar parte nela os homens que não tiverem sido circuncidados. Porém, se algum estrangeiro estiver morando com vocês e quiser comemorar a Páscoa em honra do Senhor , vocês deverão primeiro circuncidá-lo e também todos os outros homens e meninos da sua família. Depois ele poderá tomar parte na comemoração e será como se fosse uma pessoa nascida em Israel.
49 The same lawe schal be to a man borun of the lond, and to a comelyng, that takith youre feith, which is a pilgrym anentis you.
49 A mesma lei será para os israelitas nascidos no país e para os estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês.
50 And alle the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and Aaron.
50 Todos os israelitas obedeceram e fizeram o que o Senhor havia ordenado a Moisés e a Arão.
51 And in the same dai the Lord ladde out of `the lond of Egipt the sones of Israel, bi her cumpanies.
51 Naquele dia o Senhor tirou do Egito as tribos do povo de Israel.
