1 And so Moises yede, and spak alle these wordis to al Israel,
1 E Moisés foi e falou estas palavras a todo Israel.
2 and seide to hem, Y am to dai of an hundrid and twenti yeer, Y may no ferthere go out and go yn, moost sithen also the Lord seide to me, Thou schalt not passe this Jordan.
2 E lhes disse: Hoje eu tenho cento e vinte anos de idade; não posso mais sair e entrar; também o SENHOR me disse: Não passarás este Jordão.
3 Therfor thi Lord God schal passe bifore thee; he schal do awei these folkis in thi siyt, and thou schalt welde hem; and this Josue schal go bifor thee, as the Lord spak.
3 O SENHOR teu Deus irá diante de ti, e ele destruirá estas nações de diante de ti, e tu as possuirás; e Josué irá adiante de ti, como o SENHOR disse.
4 And the Lord schal do to hem as he dide to Seon, and Og kyng of Ammorreis, and to `the lond of hem; and he schal do hem awey.
4 E o SENHOR fará a eles o que fez a Seom e a Ogue, reis dos amorreus, e à terra deles, que ele destruiu.
5 Therfor whanne the Lord hath bitake to you also hem, ye schulen do in lijk maner to hem, as Y comaundide to you.
5 E o SENHOR os entregará diante da tua face, para que façais a eles conforme todos os mandamentos que eu vos dei.
6 Do ye manli, and be ye coumfortid; nyle ye drede in herte, nethir drede ye at the siyt of hem, for thi Lord God hym silf is thi ledere, and he schal not leeue, nether schal forsake thee.
6 Sede fortes, e de boa coragem, não temais, nem vos amedronteis com eles; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é quem vai contigo; ele não te deixará, nem te desamparará.
7 And Moyses clepid Josue, and seide to hym bifor al the multitude of the sones of Israel, Be thou coumfortid, and be thou strong; for thou schalt lede this puple in to the lond which the Lord swoor that he schal yyue to `the fadris of hem; and thou schalt departe it bi lot.
7 E Moisés chamou Josué, e lhe disse diante de todo Israel: Sê forte e de boa coragem, pois deves ir com este povo à terra que o SENHOR jurou a seus pais, que lhes daria; e tu os farás herdá-la.
8 And the Lord hym silf whiche is youre ledere, schal be with thee, he schal not leeue, nether schal forsake thee; nyle thou drede, nether drede thou in herte.
8 E o SENHOR é quem vai diante de ti; ele estará contigo, não te deixará, nem te desamparará; não temas, nem desanimes.
9 Therfor Moyses wroot this lawe, and bitook it to the preestis, sones of Leuy, that baren the arke of the bond of pees of the Lord, and to alle the eldere men of Israel.
9 E Moisés escreveu esta lei, e a entregou aos sacerdotes, os filhos de Levi, que levavam a arca do pacto do SENHOR, e a todos os anciãos de Israel.
10 And Moyses comaundide to hem, and seide, Aftir seuen yeer, in the yeer of remyssioun, in the solempnete of tabernaclis,
10 E Moisés lhes ordenou, dizendo: Ao fim de cada sete anos, na solenidade do ano de remissão, na festa dos tabernáculos,
11 whanne alle men of Israel schulen come togidere, that thei appere in the siyt of her Lord God, in the place `which the Lord chees, thou schalt rede the wordis of this lawe bifor al Israel,
11 quando todo Israel deverá comparecer diante do SENHOR teu Deus, no lugar que ele escolher, lerás esta lei diante de todo Israel aos seus ouvidos.
12 while thei heren, and while al the puple is gaderid to gidere, as wel to men, as to wymmen, to litle children, and comelyngis that ben with ynne thi yatis; that thei here, and lerne, and drede youre Lord God, and kepe and fille alle the wordis of this lawe;
12 Congrega o povo, os homens, e as mulheres, e as crianças, e os estrangeiros que estão dentro de tuas portas, para que possam ouvir, e para que possam aprender, e temer ao SENHOR vosso Deus, e observar e cumprir todas as palavras desta lei;
13 also that the sones of hem, that now knowen not, moun here, and that thei drede her Lord God in alle daies in whiche thei lyuen in the lond to whiche ye schulen go to gete, whanne Jordan is passid.
13 e para que seus filhos, que não conhecerem nada desta lei, possam ouvir e aprender a temer ao SENHOR vosso Deus, enquanto viverdes na terra à qual ides, passando o Jordão, para possuí-la.
14 And the Lord seide to Moises, Lo! the daies of thi deeth ben nyy; clepe thou Josue, and stonde ye in the tabernacle of witnessyng, that Y comaunde to hym. Therfor Moises and Josue yeden, and stooden in the tabernacle of witnessyng;
14 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Eis que são chegados os teus dias, para que morras; chama a Josué, e apresentai-vos no tabernáculo da congregação, para que eu possa lhe dar uma ordem. E Moisés e Josué foram, e se apresentaram no tabernáculo da congregação.
15 and the Lord apperide there in a pilere of cloude, that stood in the entryng of the tabernacle.
15 E o SENHOR apareceu no tabernáculo, em uma coluna de nuvem, e a coluna de nuvem ficou sobre a porta do tabernáculo.
16 And the Lord seide to Moises, Lo! thou schalt slepe with thi fadris, and this puple schal rise, and schal do fornycacioun aftir alien goddis in the lond, to which lond it schal entre, that it dwelle ther ynne; there it schal forsake me, and schal make void the boond of pees, which Y couenauntide with it.
16 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Eis que, dormirás com teus pais; e este povo se levantará, e se prostituirá seguindo os deuses dos estrangeiros da terra, para onde irão para estar entre eles, e me abandonarão, e romperão o meu pacto que fiz com eles.
17 And my strong veniaunce schal be wrooth ayens that puple in that dai, and Y schal forsake it, and Y schal hide my face fro it, and it schal be in to deuouryng; alle yuels and turmentyngis schulen fynde it, so that it seie in that dai, Verili for the Lord is not with me, these yuelis han founde me.
17 Então nesse dia a minha ira se acenderá contra ele, e os abandonarei, e esconderei deles a minha face, e eles serão devorados, e muitos males e problemas lhes acontecerão; e dirão naquele dia: Não nos alcançaram estes males porque o nosso Deus não está entre nós?
18 Forsothe Y schal hide, and schal hile `my face in that dai, for alle the yuels `whiche it dide, for it suede alien goddis.
18 E certamente ocultarei a minha face naquele dia, por todos os males que eles tiverem feito, porque se voltaram a outros deuses.
19 Now therfor write ye to you this song, and `teche ye the sones of Israel, that thei holde it in mynde, and synge bi mouth; and that this song be to me for a witnessyng among the sones of Israel.
19 Agora, portanto, escrevei este cântico para vós, e ensinai-o aos filhos de Israel; ponde-o em suas bocas, para que este cântico me possa ser um testemunho contra os filhos de Israel.
20 For Y schal lede hym in to the lond, for which Y swoor to hise fadris, flowynge with mylk and hony; and whanne thei han ete, and ben fillid, and ben maad fat, thei schulen turne to alien goddis, and thei schulen serue hem; and thei schulen bacbite me, and schulen make voide my couenaunt.
20 Pois quando eu os tiver trazido à terra que jurei aos seus pais, que mana leite e mel, e quando tiverem comido e se saciado, e engordado, então eles se voltarão a outros deuses, e os servirão, e me provocarão, e romperão o meu pacto.
21 Aftir that many yuels and turmentyngis han founde hym, this song schal answere hym for witnessing, which song no foryetyng schal do awey fro the mouth of thi seed. For Y knowe the thouytis therof to day, what thingis it schal do, bifore that Y bringe it in to the lond which Y bihiyte to it.
21 E acontecerá que, quando lhes vierem muitos males e problemas, que este cântico testemunhará contra eles, como uma testemunha; porque ele não será esquecido nas bocas de sua semente; pois conheço a sua imaginação, o que eles fazem mesmo agora, antes que eu os tenha colocado na terra que jurei.
22 Therfor Moises wroot the song, and tauyte the sones of Israel.
22 Portanto, Moisés escreveu este cântico, no mesmo dia, e o ensinou aos filhos de Israel.
23 And the Lord comaundide to Josue, the sone of Nun, and seide, Be thou coumfortid, and be thou strong; for thou schalt lede the sones of Israel in to the lond which Y bihiyte, and Y schal be with thee.
23 E deu uma ordem a Josué, filho de Num, e disse: Sê forte e de boa coragem, porque trarás os filhos de Israel à terra que jurei a eles, e eu serei contigo.
24 Therfor aftir that Moises wroot the wordis of this lawe in a book, and fillide,
24 E aconteceu que, quando Moisés terminou de escrever as palavras desta lei em um livro, até finalizá-las.
25 he comaundide to Leuytis that baren the ark of boond of pees of the Lord,
25 Moisés ordenou aos levitas, que levavam a arca do pacto do SENHOR, dizendo:
26 and seide, Take ye this book, and putte ye it in the side of the arke of boond of pees of youre Lord God, that it be there ayens thee in to witnessyng.
26 Tomai este livro da lei e ponde-o ao lado da arca do pacto do SENHOR vosso Deus, para que ali esteja por testemunha contra ti.
27 For Y knowe thi stryuyng, and thin hardest nol; yit while Y lyuede and entride with you, ye diden euere stryuyngli ayens the Lord; hou myche more whanne Y schal be deed.
27 Porque eu conheço a tua rebelião, e a tua arrogância; eis que, vivendo eu ainda hoje convosco, fostes rebeldes contra o SENHOR; e quanto mais, depois da minha morte?
28 Gadere ye to me all the grettere men in birthe, and techeris, bi youre lynagis, and Y schal speke to hem, herynge these wordis, and Y schal clepe ayens hem heuene and erthe.
28 Congregai-me todos os anciãos de vossas tribos, e os vossos oficiais, para que eu possa falar estas palavras aos seus ouvidos, e chamar céus e terra para que façam registro contra eles.
29 For Y knowe, that aftir my deeth ye schulen do wickidli, and schulen bowe awei soone fro the weie which Y comaundide to you; and yuels schulen come to you in the laste tyme, whanne ye `han do yuel in the siyt of the Lord, that ye terre hym to ire bi the werkis of youre hondis.
29 Porque sei que depois da minha morte, vos corrompereis completamente, e vos afastareis do caminho que vos ordenei; e nos últimos dias o mal vos virá; porque fareis mal aos olhos do SENHOR, para provocá-lo à ira, pela obra das vossas mãos.
30 Therfor while al the cumpeny of the sones of Israel herde, Moises spak the wordis of this song, and fillide `til to the ende.
30 E Moisés falou aos ouvidos de toda a congregação de Israel as palavras deste cântico, até que se acabaram.
