1 Therfor whanne alle these wordis comen on thee, blessyng ether cursing, which Y settide forth in thi siyt, and thou art led bi repentaunce of thin herte among alle folkis, in to whiche thi Lord God hath scaterid thee,
1 E acontecerá, quando todas essas coisas vierem sobre ti, a maldição e a bênção, que pus diante de ti, e te lembrares delas entre todas as nações a que o SENHOR teu Deus te levou,
2 and turnest ayen to hym, and obeiest to hise comaundementis, as Y comaundide to thee to dai, with thi sones, in al thin herte and in al thi soule,
2 e retornares ao SENHOR teu Deus, e obedeceres à sua voz, conforme tudo o que te ordeno hoje, tu e os teus filhos, com todo o teu coração, e com toda a tua alma,
3 thi Lord God schal lede thee ayen fro thi caitifte, and schal haue mercy on thee, and eft he schal gadre thee from alle puplis, in to whiche he scateride the bifore.
3 então o SENHOR teu Deus reverterá o teu cativeiro, e terá compaixão de ti, e voltará e te congregará dentre todas as nações para onde o SENHOR teu Deus te tiver dispersado.
4 If thou art scaterid to the endis of heuene, fro thennus thi Lord God schal withdrawe thee;
4 Se algum dos teus for levado às partes extremas dos céus, dali o SENHOR teu Deus te congregará, e dali te tomará;
5 and he schal take and schal bringe thee in to the lond which thi fadris weldiden; and thou schalt holde it, and he schal blesse thee, and schal make thee to be of more noumbre than thi fadris weren.
5 e o SENHOR teu Deus te trará à terra que teus pais possuíram, e a possuirás; e ele te fará bem, e te multiplicará mais do que a teus pais.
6 Thi Lord God schal circumcide thin herte, and the herte of thi seed, that thou loue thi Lord God in al thin herte and in al thi soule, and maist liue.
6 E o SENHOR teu Deus circuncidará o teu coração, e o coração da tua semente, para que ames ao SENHOR teu Deus com todo o teu coração, e com toda a tua alma, para que possas viver.
7 Forsothe the Lord schal turne alle these cursyngis on thin enemyes, and on hem that haten and pursuen thee.
7 E o SENHOR teu Deus porá todas essas maldições sobre os teus inimigos, e sobre aqueles que te odeiam, que te perseguiram.
8 Sotheli thou schalt turne ayen, and schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do alle the heestis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai;
8 E voltarás e obedecerás à voz do SENHOR, e cumprirás todos os seus mandamentos, que te ordeno neste dia.
9 and thi Lord God schal make thee to be plenteuouse, in alle the workis of thin hondis, in the children of thi wombe, and in the fruyt of thi beestis, in abundaunce of thi lond, and in largenesse of alle thingis. For the Lord schal turne ayen, that he haue ioye on thee in alle goodis, as he ioyede in thi fadris;
9 E o SENHOR teu Deus te fará abundante em toda obra de tua mão, no fruto de teu corpo, e no fruto de teu gado, e no fruto de tua terra, para o bem, porque o SENHOR teu Deus se alegrará contigo, para o bem, como se alegrou com os teus pais,
10 if netheles thou herist the voys of thi Lord God, and kepist hise heestis and cerymonys, that ben writun in this lawe, and thou turne ayen to thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule.
10 se ouvires a voz do SENHOR teu Deus, e guardares os seus mandamentos e os seus estatutos, que estão escritos neste livro da lei, e se te converteres ao SENHOR teu Deus com todo o teu coração, e com toda a tua alma.
11 This comaundement whiche Y comaunde to thee to day,
11 Porque este mandamento, que te ordeno hoje, não está oculto de ti, nem está distante.
12 is not aboue thee, nethir is set fer, nethir is set in heuene, that thou maist seie, Who of vs may stie to heuene, that he brynge it to vs, and we here, and fille in werk?
12 Não está nos céus, para que digas: Quem subirá por nós aos céus, e o trará a nós, para que possamos ouvi-lo e cumpri-lo?
13 nether it is set biyende the see, `that thou pleyne, and seye, Who of vs may passe ouer the see, and brynge it til to vs, that we moun here and do that that is comaundid?
13 Tampouco está além do mar, para que digas: Quem irá além do mar por nós, e o trará a nós, para que possamos ouvi-lo e cumpri-lo?
14 But the word is ful nyy thee, in thi mouth and in thin herte, that thou do it.
14 Mas a palavra está muito próxima de ti, na tua boca, e no teu coração, para que possas cumpri-la.
15 Biholde thou, that to day Y haue set forth in thi siyt lijf and good, and ayenward deeth and yuel;
15 Vê, eu coloco diante de ti neste dia a vida e o bem, e a morte e o mal;
16 that thou loue thi Lord God, and go in hise weies, and kepe hise heestis, and cerymonyes, and domes; and that thou lyue, and he multiplie thee, and blesse thee in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde.
16 por isso, te ordeno hoje, que ames ao SENHOR teu Deus, que andes nos seus caminhos, e que guardes os seus mandamentos, e os seus estatutos, e os seus juízos, para que possas viver e te multiplicar; e o SENHOR teu Deus te abençoará na terra que vais possuir.
17 But if thin herte is turned awey, and thou nylt here, and thou art disseyued bi errour, and worschipist alien goddis,
17 Mas se o teu coração se desviar, de modo que não quiseres dar ouvidos, mas fores atraídos a adorar outros deuses, e os servires,
18 and seruest hem, Y biforseie to thee to dai, that thou schalt perische, and schalt dwelle litil tyme in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde, whanne thou schalt passe Jordan.
18 eu vos denuncio hoje, que certamente perecereis e que não prolongareis os vossos dias sobre a terra, a qual cruzaste o Jordão para ir e possuir.
19 Y clepe to day heuene and erthe witnesses, that is, aungels and men, that Y haue set forth to you lijf and deeth, good and yuel, blessyng and cursyng; therfor chese thou lijf, that bothe thou lyue and thi seed,
19 Chamo os céus e a terra para registrar hoje, contra vós, que coloquei diante de vós a vida e a morte, a bênção e a maldição; portanto escolhe a vida, para que a tua semente possa viver;
20 and that thou loue thi Lord God, and obeie to his vois, and cleue to hym, for he is thi lijf, and the lengthe of thi daies; that thou dwelle in the lond, for which the Lord swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he schulde yyue it to hem.
20 para que possas amar ao Senhor teu Deus, e para que possas obedecer à sua voz, e para que possas te apegar a ele; porque ele é a tua vida, e a duração dos teus dias; para que possas habitar na terra que o Senhor jurou aos teus pais, a Abraão, a Isaque e a Jacó, que lhes daria.
