1 After all this I looked and saw a door in Heaven standing open, and the voice that I had previously heard, which resembled the blast of a trumpet, again spoke to me and said, »Come up here, and I will show you things which are to happen in the future.«
1 Depois destas coisas, olhei, e eis que havia uma porta aberta no céu. E a primeira voz que ouvi, que era como de trombeta ao falar comigo, disse:
2 Immediately I found myself in the Spirit, and saw a throne in Heaven, and some One sitting on the throne.
2 Imediatamente eu me achei no Espírito, e eis que havia um trono armado no céu, e alguém estava sentado no trono.
3 The appearance of Him who sat there was like jasper or sard; and encircling the throne was a rainbow, in appearance like an emerald.
3 E esse que estava sentado era semelhante, no aspecto, à pedra de jaspe e ao sardônio, e ao redor do trono havia um arco-íris semelhante, no aspecto, à esmeralda.
4 Surrounding the throne there were also twenty-four other thrones, on which sat twenty-four Elders clothed in white robes, with victors' wreaths of gold upon their heads.
4 Ao redor do trono havia também vinte e quatro tronos, e neles estavam sentados vinte e quatro anciãos, vestidos de branco e com coroas de ouro na cabeça.
5 Out from the throne there came flashes of lightning, and voices, and peals of thunder, while in front of the throne seven blazing lamps were burning, which are the seven Spirits of God.
5 Do trono saíam relâmpagos, vozes e trovões, e, diante do trono, estavam acesas sete tochas de fogo, que são os sete espíritos de Deus.
6 And in front of the throne there seemed to be a sea of glass, resembling crystal. And midway between the throne and the Elders, and surrounding the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.
6 Diante do trono havia algo como um mar de vidro, semelhante ao cristal. No meio do trono e à volta do trono havia também quatro seres viventes cheios de olhos por diante e por detrás.
7 The first living creature resembled a lion, the second an ox, the third had a face like that of a man, and the fourth resembled an eagle flying.
7 O primeiro ser vivente era semelhante a um leão, o segundo era semelhante a um novilho, o terceiro tinha o rosto semelhante ao de ser humano e o quarto ser vivente era semelhante à águia quando está voando.
8 And each of the four living creatures had six wings, and in every direction, and within, are full of eyes; and day after day, and night after night, they never cease saying, »Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Ruler of all, who wast and art and evermore shalt be.«
8 E os quatro seres viventes, tendo cada um deles, respectivamente, seis asas, estavam cheios de olhos, ao redor e por dentro. Não tinham descanso, nem de dia nem de noite, proclamando: “Santo, santo, santo é o Senhor Deus, o Todo-Poderoso, aquele que era, que é e que há de vir.”
9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who is seated on the throne, and lives until the Ages of the Ages,
9 Sempre que esses seres viventes davam glória, honra e ações de graças ao que está sentado no trono, ao que vive para todo o sempre,
10 the twenty-four Elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives until the Ages of the Ages, and they cast their wreaths down in front of the throne,
10 os vinte e quatro anciãos se prostravam diante daquele que está sentado no trono, adoravam o que vive para todo o sempre e depositavam as suas coroas diante do trono, proclamando:
11 saying, »It is fitting, O our Lord and God, That we should ascribe unto Thee the glory and the honor and the power; For Thou didst create all things, And because it was Thy will they came into existence, and were created.«
11 “Tu és digno, Senhor e Deus nosso, de receber a glória, a honra e o poder, porque criaste todas as coisas e por tua vontade elas vieram a existir e foram criadas.”
