1 Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary say to the seven angels, »Go and pour on to the earth the seven bowls of the anger of God.«
1 Ouvi, então, uma voz forte saindo do templo, que dizia aos sete Anjos: Ide, e derramai sobre a terra as sete taças da ira de Deus.
2 So the first angel went away and poured his bowl on to the earth; and it brought a bad and painful sore upon the men who had on them the mark of the Wild Beast and worshipped his statue.
2 O primeiro, portanto, pôs-se a derramar a sua taça sobre a terra. Formou-se uma úlcera atroz e maligna nos homens que tinham o sinal da Fera e que se prostravam diante de sua imagem.
3 The second angel poured his bowl into the sea, and it became blood, like a dead man's blood, and every living creature in the sea died.
3 O segundo derramou a sua taça sobre o mar. Este tornou-se sangue, como o de um morto, e pereceu todo ser que estava no mar.
4 The third angel poured his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
4 O terceiro derramou a sua taça sobre os rios e as fontes das águas, e transformaram-se em sangue.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, »Righteous art Thou, who art and wast, the holy One, because Thou hast thus taken vengeance.
5 Ouvi, então, o anjo das águas dizer: Tu és justo, tu que és e que eras o Santo, que assim julgas.
6 For they poured out the blood of Thy people and of the Prophets, and in return Thou hast given them blood to drink. And this they deserved.«
6 Porque eles derramaram o sangue dos santos e dos profetas, tu lhes deste também sangue para beber. Eles o merecem.
7 And I heard a voice from the altar say, »Even so, O Lord God, the Ruler of all, true and righteous are Thy judgments.«
7 Ouvi o altar dizer: Sim, Senhor Deus Dominador, são verdadeiros e justos os teus julgamentos.
8 Then the fourth angel poured his bowl on to the sun, and power was given to it to scorch men with fire.
8 O quarto derramou a sua taça sobre o sol, e foi-lhe dado queimar os homens com o fogo.
9 And the men were severely burned; and yet they spoke evil of God who had power over the plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
9 E os homens foram queimados por grande calor, e amaldiçoaram o nome de Deus, que pode desencadear esses flagelos; e não quiseram arrepender-se e dar-lhe glória.
10 The fifth angel poured his bowl on to the throne of the Wild Beast; and his kingdom became darkened. People gnawed their tongues because of the pain,
10 O quinto derramou a sua taça sobre o trono da Fera. Seu reino se escureceu e seus súditos mordiam a língua de dor.
11 and they spoke evil of the God in Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their misconduct.
11 Amaldiçoaram o Deus do céu por causa de seus sofrimentos e das suas feridas, sem se arrependerem dos seus atos.
12 The sixth angel poured his bowl into that great river, the Euphrates; and its stream was dried up in order to clear the way for the kings who are to come from the east.
12 O sexto derramou a sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates, e secaram-se as suas águas para que se abrisse caminho aos reis do oriente.
13 Then I saw three foul spirits, resembling frogs, issue from the mouth of the Dragon, from the mouth of the Wild Beast, and from the mouth of the false Prophet.
13 Vi {sair} da boca do Dragão, da boca da Fera e da boca do falso profeta três espíritos imundos semelhantes a rãs;
14 For they are the spirits of demons working marvels–spirits that go out to control the kings of the whole earth, to assemble them for the battle which is to take place on the great day of God, the Ruler of all.
14 são os espíritos de demônios que realizam prodígios, e vão ter com os reis de toda a terra, a fim de reuni-los para a batalha do Grande Dia do Deus Dominador.
15 (»I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the man who keeps awake and guards his raiment for fear he walk about ill-clad, and his uncomeliness become manifest.«)
15 {Eis que venho como um ladrão! Feliz aquele que vigia e guarda as suas vestes para que não ande nu, ostentando a sua vergonha!}
16 And assemble them they did at the place called in Hebrew `Har-Magedon.'
16 Eles os reuniram num lugar chamado em hebraico Har-Magedon.
17 Then the seventh angel poured his bowl into the air; and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, »Everything is now ready.«
17 O sétimo derramou a sua taça pelos ares e saiu do templo uma grande voz do trono, que dizia: Está pronto!
18 Flashes of lightning followed, and voices, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake more dreadful than there had ever been since there was a man upon the earth–so terrible was it, and so great!
18 Houve, então, relâmpagos, vozes e trovões, assim como um terremoto tão grande como jamais houve desde que há homens na terra.
19 The great city was split into three parts; the cities of the nations fell; and great Babylon came into remembrance before God, for Him to make her drink from the wine-cup of His fierce anger.
19 A grande cidade foi dividida em três partes, e as cidades das nações caíram, e Deus lembrou-se da grande Babilônia, para lhe dar de beber o cálice do vinho de sua ira ardente.
20 Every island fled away, and there was not a mountain anywhere to be seen.
20 Todas as ilhas fugiram, e montanha alguma foi encontrada.
21 And heavy hail, that seemed to be a talent in weight, fell from the sky upon the people; and they spoke evil of God on account of the plague of the hail–because the plague of it was exceedingly severe.
21 Grandes pedras de gelo, que podiam pesar um talento, caíram do céu sobre os homens. Os homens amaldiçoaram a Deus por causa do flagelo da saraiva, pois este foi terrível.
