1 Then I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary say to the seven angels, »Go and pour on to the earth the seven bowls of the anger of God.«
1 E eu ouvi uma grande voz sair do templo, dizendo aos sete anjos: Ide pelos vossos caminhos, e derramai as taças da ira de Deus sobre a terra.
2 So the first angel went away and poured his bowl on to the earth; and it brought a bad and painful sore upon the men who had on them the mark of the Wild Beast and worshipped his statue.
2 E foi o primeiro, e derramou a sua taça sobre a terra, e recaiu uma fétida e dolorosa ferida sobre os homens que tinham a marca da besta e sobre aqueles que adoravam a sua imagem.
3 The second angel poured his bowl into the sea, and it became blood, like a dead man's blood, and every living creature in the sea died.
3 E o segundo anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o mar; e este se tornou em sangue como o de um homem morto; e toda a alma vivente morreu no mar.
4 The third angel poured his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
4 E o terceiro anjo derramou a sua taça sobre os rios e nas fontes das águas, e eles se tornaram em sangue.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, »Righteous art Thou, who art and wast, the holy One, because Thou hast thus taken vengeance.
5 E eu ouvi o anjo das águas dizer: Tu és justo, ó Senhor, que és, e que eras, e serás, porque tu julgaste assim.
6 For they poured out the blood of Thy people and of the Prophets, and in return Thou hast given them blood to drink. And this they deserved.«
6 Porque eles derramaram o sangue de santos e profetas, e tu lhes deste sangue para beber; porque eles são dignos.
7 And I heard a voice from the altar say, »Even so, O Lord God, the Ruler of all, true and righteous are Thy judgments.«
7 E ouvi outro vindo do altar dizer: Ainda assim, Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, verdadeiros e justos são os teus juízos.
8 Then the fourth angel poured his bowl on to the sun, and power was given to it to scorch men with fire.
8 E o quarto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o sol, e foi-lhe dado poder para queimar os homens com fogo.
9 And the men were severely burned; and yet they spoke evil of God who had power over the plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
9 E os homens foram queimados com grande calor, e blasfemaram o nome de Deus, que tem poder sobre estas pragas; e eles não se arrependeram para lhe darem glória.
10 The fifth angel poured his bowl on to the throne of the Wild Beast; and his kingdom became darkened. People gnawed their tongues because of the pain,
10 E o quinto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o trono da besta, e o seu reino era cheio de trevas; eles mordiam suas línguas por causa da dor,
11 and they spoke evil of the God in Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their misconduct.
11 e blasfemavam o Deus do céu por causa das suas dores e suas feridas, e não se arrependeram dos seus atos.
12 The sixth angel poured his bowl into that great river, the Euphrates; and its stream was dried up in order to clear the way for the kings who are to come from the east.
12 E o sexto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates; e a água dali secou-se, para que o caminho dos reis do oriente pudesse ser preparado.
13 Then I saw three foul spirits, resembling frogs, issue from the mouth of the Dragon, from the mouth of the Wild Beast, and from the mouth of the false Prophet.
13 E eu vi três espíritos imundos semelhantes a rãs, saírem da boca do dragão, e da boca da besta, e da boca do falso profeta.
14 For they are the spirits of demons working marvels–spirits that go out to control the kings of the whole earth, to assemble them for the battle which is to take place on the great day of God, the Ruler of all.
14 Porque eles são espíritos de demônios, operando milagres; os quais vão ao encontro dos reis da terra e de todo o mundo, para reuni-los para a batalha do grande dia do Deus Todo-Poderoso.
15 (»I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the man who keeps awake and guards his raiment for fear he walk about ill-clad, and his uncomeliness become manifest.«)
15 Eis que eu venho como ladrão. Abençoado é aquele que vigia, e guarda as suas vestes, para que não ande nu, e eles vejam sua vergonha.
16 And assemble them they did at the place called in Hebrew `Har-Magedon.'
16 E eles os reuniu em um lugar que na língua hebraica se chama Armagedom.
17 Then the seventh angel poured his bowl into the air; and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, »Everything is now ready.«
17 E o sétimo anjo derramou a sua taça no ar, e saiu grande voz do templo do céu, do trono, dizendo: Está feito.
18 Flashes of lightning followed, and voices, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake more dreadful than there had ever been since there was a man upon the earth–so terrible was it, and so great!
18 E houve vozes, e trovões, e relâmpagos, e um grande terremoto, como nunca houve desde que há homens sobre a terra; tão poderoso terremoto, e tão grande.
19 The great city was split into three parts; the cities of the nations fell; and great Babylon came into remembrance before God, for Him to make her drink from the wine-cup of His fierce anger.
19 E a grande cidade foi dividida em três partes, e as cidades das nações caíram; e a grande Babilônia veio à lembrança diante de Deus, para dar-lhe do cálice do vinho da fúria de sua ira.
20 Every island fled away, and there was not a mountain anywhere to be seen.
20 E toda ilha fugiu; e as montanhas não foram encontradas.
21 And heavy hail, that seemed to be a talent in weight, fell from the sky upon the people; and they spoke evil of God on account of the plague of the hail–because the plague of it was exceedingly severe.
21 E caiu sobre os homens um grande granizo do céu, cada pedra com o peso de cerca de um talento; e os homens blasfemaram a Deus por causa da praga do granizo. Porque sua praga é extremamente grande.
