1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, ye who are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
1 Irmãos, se alguém for vencido por algum pecado, vocês que são guiados pelo Espírito devem, com mansidão, ajudá-lo a voltar ao caminho certo. E cada um cuide para não ser tentado.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
2 Ajudem a levar os fardos uns dos outros e obedeçam, desse modo, à lei de Cristo.
3 For if any man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
3 Se vocês se consideram importantes demais para ajudar os outros, estão apenas enganando a si mesmos.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
4 Cada um preste muita atenção em seu trabalho, pois então terá a satisfação de havê-lo feito bem e não precisará se comparar com os outros.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
5 Porque cada um de nós é responsável pela própria conduta.
6 Let him that is taught in the word impart to him that teacheth in all good things.
6 Aqueles que recebem o ensino da palavra devem repartir com seus mestres todas as coisas boas.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap.
7 Não se deixem enganar: ninguém pode zombar de Deus. A pessoa sempre colherá aquilo que semear.
8 For he that soweth to the flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
8 Quem vive apenas para satisfazer sua natureza humana colherá dessa natureza ruína e morte. Mas quem vive para agradar o Espírito colherá do Espírito a vida eterna.
9 But let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
9 Portanto, não nos cansemos de fazer o bem. No momento certo, teremos uma colheita de bênçãos, se não desistirmos.
10 Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men; but especially to them who are of the houshold of faith.
10 Por isso, sempre que tivermos oportunidade, façamos o bem a todos, especialmente aos da família da fé.
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
11 Vejam com que letras grandes lhes escrevo, de próprio punho, estas palavras finais!
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised: only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
12 Aqueles que procuram obrigá-los a se circuncidarem desejam causar boa impressão para outros, a fim de não serem perseguidos por ensinar que somente a cruz de Cristo pode salvar.
13 For neither they who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
13 E nem mesmo aqueles que defendem a circuncisão cumprem toda a lei. Querem que vocês sejam circuncidados só para que eles se gloriem disso.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is crucified to me, and I unto the world.
14 Quanto a mim, que eu jamais me glorie em qualquer coisa, a não ser na cruz de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Por causa dessa cruz meu interesse neste mundo foi crucificado, e o interesse do mundo em mim também morreu.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision is any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
15 Não importa se fomos circuncidados ou não. O que importa é que fomos transformados em nova criação.
16 And as many as walk by this rule, peace be upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
16 Que a paz e a misericórdia de Deus estejam sobre todos os que vivem de acordo com esse princípio e sobre o Israel de Deus.
17 From henceforth let none trouble me; for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
17 De agora em diante, que ninguém me perturbe com essas coisas, pois levo em meu corpo cicatrizes que mostram que pertenço a Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your Spirit. Amen.
18 Irmãos, que a graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo esteja com o espírito de vocês. Amém.
