2 Porque o Senhor Altíssimo é tremendo; é grande Rei sobre toda a terra.
3 \47:2\For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 Ele nos sujeitou povos e nações sob os nossos pés.
4 \47:3\He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 Escolheu para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, a quem amou.
5 \47:4\He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellence of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 Deus subiu entre aplausos, o Senhor subiu ao som de trombeta.
6 \47:5\God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores.
7 \47:6\Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; cantai louvores com salmo.
8 \47:7\For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 Deus reina sobre as nações; Deus está sentado sobre o seu santo trono.
9 \47:8\God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

10 \47:9\The princes of the people are assembled, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong to God: he is greatly exalted.
