1 Hallelujah. Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, That delights greatly in his commandments.
1 Louvai ao Senhor ! Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao Senhor , que em seus mandamentos tem grande prazer.
2 His seed will be mighty on earth: The generation of the upright will be blessed.
2 A sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos justos será abençoada.
3 Wealth and riches are in his house; And his righteousness endures forever.
3 Fazenda e riquezas haverá na sua casa, e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.
4 To the upright there rises light in the darkness: [He is] gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
4 Aos justos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é piedoso, misericordioso e justo.
5 It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.
5 Bem irá ao homem que se compadece e empresta; disporá as suas coisas com juízo.
6 For he will never be moved; The righteous will be had in everlasting remembrance.
6 Na verdade, nunca será abalado; o justo ficará em memória eterna.
7 He will not be afraid of evil news: His heart is fixed, trusting in Yahweh.
7 Não temerá maus rumores; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor .
8 His heart is established, he will not be afraid, Until he sees [his desire] on his adversaries.
8 O seu coração, bem firmado, não temerá, até que ele veja cumprido o seu desejo sobre os seus inimigos.
9 He has dispersed, he has given to the needy; His righteousness endures forever: His horn will be exalted with honor.
9 É liberal, dá aos necessitados; a sua justiça permanece para sempre, e a sua força se exaltará em glória.
10 The wicked will see it, and be grieved; He will gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked will perish.
10 O ímpio verá isto e se enraivecerá; rangerá os dentes e se consumirá; o desejo dos ímpios perecerá.
