¹ Hallelujah. Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, That delights greatly in his commandments.

¹ Louvai ao Senhor. Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao Senhor, que em seus mandamentos tem grande prazer!

² His seed will be mighty on earth: The generation of the upright will be blessed.

² A sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos retos será abençoada.

³ Wealth and riches are in his house; And his righteousness endures forever.

³ Bens e riquezas há na sua casa; e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.

⁴ To the upright there rises light in the darkness: [He is] gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

⁴ Aos retos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é compassivo, misericordioso e justo.

⁵ It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.

⁵ Ditoso é o homem que se compadece, e empresta, que conduz os seus negócios com justiça;

⁶ For he will never be moved; The righteous will be had in everlasting remembrance.

⁶ pois ele nunca será abalado; o justo ficará em memória eterna.

⁷ He will not be afraid of evil news: His heart is fixed, trusting in Yahweh.

⁷ Ele não teme más notícias; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor.

⁸ His heart is established, he will not be afraid, Until he sees [his desire] on his adversaries.

⁸ O seu coração está bem firmado, ele não terá medo, até que veja cumprido o seu desejo sobre os seus adversários.

⁹ He has dispersed, he has given to the needy; His righteousness endures forever: His horn will be exalted with honor.

⁹ Espalhou, deu aos necessitados; a sua justiça subsiste para sempre; o seu poder será exaltado em honra.

¹⁰ The wicked will see it, and be grieved; He will gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked will perish.

¹⁰ O ímpio vê isto e se enraivece; range os dentes e se consome; o desejo dos ímpios perecerá.
