Malaquias 4
Updated Bible Version (UPDV) vs NAA
1 For, look, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up, says Yahweh of hosts, that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
1 — Pois eis que vem o dia, queimando como fornalha. Todos os soberbos e todos os que praticam o mal serão como a palha; o dia que vem os queimará, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, de modo que não lhes deixará nem raiz nem ramo.
2 But to you{+} who fear my name the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in its wings; and you{+} will go forth, and leap as calves of the stall.
2 Mas para vocês que temem o meu nome nascerá o sol da justiça, trazendo salvação nas suas asas. Vocês sairão e saltarão como bezerros soltos da estrebaria.
3 And you{+} will tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your{+} feet in the day that I make, says Yahweh of hosts.
3 Vocês pisarão os ímpios, pois eles se farão cinzas debaixo das plantas dos pés de vocês, naquele dia que prepararei, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
4 Remember{+} the law of Moses my slave, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
4 — Lembrem-se da Lei de Moisés, meu servo, a qual lhe prescrevi em Horebe para todo o Israel, a saber, estatutos e juízos.
5 Look, I will send you{+} Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of Yahweh comes.
5 — Eis que eu lhes enviarei o profeta Elias, antes que venha o grande e terrível Dia do Senhor .
6 And he will turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the earth with a curse.
6 Ele converterá o coração dos pais aos seus filhos e o coração dos filhos aos seus pais, para que eu não venha e castigue a terra com maldição.
