Isaías 62

1 For Zion's sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
1 Por amor de Sião, me não calarei e, por amor de Jerusalém, não me aquietarei, até que saia a sua justiça como um resplendor, e a sua salvação, como uma tocha acesa.
2 And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory, and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh will name.
2 As nações verão a tua justiça, e todos os reis, a tua glória; e serás chamada por um nome novo, que a boca do Senhor designará.
3 You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Yahweh, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
3 Serás uma coroa de glória na mão do Senhor , um diadema real na mão do teu Deus.
4 You will no more be termed Forsaken; neither will your land anymore be termed Desolate: but you will be called Hephzi-bah, and your land Beulah; for Yahweh delights in you, and your land will be married.
4 Nunca mais te chamarão Desamparada, nem a tua terra se denominará jamais Desolada; mas chamar-te-ão Minha-Delícia; e à tua terra, Desposada; porque o Senhor se delicia em ti; e a tua terra se desposará.
5 For as a young man takes possession of a virgin, so will your sons take possession of you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so will your God rejoice over you.
5 Porque, como o jovem desposa a donzela, assim teus filhos te desposarão a ti; como o noivo se alegra da noiva, assim de ti se alegrará o teu Deus.
6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never hold their peace day nor night: you{+} who are Yahweh's remembrancers, take{+} no rest,
6 Sobre os teus muros, ó Jerusalém, pus guardas, que todo o dia e toda a noite jamais se calarão; vós, os que fareis lembrado o Senhor , não descanseis,
7 and give him no rest, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
7 nem deis a ele descanso até que restabeleça Jerusalém e a ponha por objeto de louvor na terra.
8 Yahweh has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored:
8 Jurou o Senhor pela sua mão direita e pelo seu braço poderoso: Nunca mais darei o teu cereal por sustento aos teus inimigos, nem os estrangeiros beberão o teu vinho, fruto de tuas fadigas.
9 but those who have garnered it will eat it, and praise Yahweh; and those who have gathered it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.
9 Mas os que o ajuntarem o comerão e louvarão ao Senhor ; e os que o recolherem beberão nos átrios do meu santuário.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare{+} the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up an ensign for the peoples.
10 Passai, passai pelas portas; preparai o caminho ao povo; aterrai, aterrai a estrada, limpai-a das pedras; arvorai bandeira aos povos.
11 Look, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say{+} to the daughter of Zion, Look, your salvation comes; look, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.
11 Eis que o Senhor fez ouvir até às extremidades da terra estas palavras: Dizei à filha de Sião: Eis que vem o teu Salvador; vem com ele a sua recompensa, e diante dele, o seu galardão.
12 And they will call them The holy people, The redeemed of Yahweh: and you will be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.
12 Chamar-vos-ão Povo Santo, Remidos-Do- Senhor ; e tu, Sião, serás chamada Procurada, Cidade-Não-Deserta.
