Ezequiel 36

1 And you, Son of Man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, You{+} mountains of Israel, hear the word of Yahweh.
1 Também tu, filho do homem, profetiza aos montes de Israel e dize: Vós montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do SENHOR:
2 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Because the enemy has said against you{+}, Aha! And, The ancient high places are ours in possession;
2 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Pois o inimigo disse contra vós: Ah! Até os antigos lugares altos são nossos por possessão;
3 therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Because, even because they have made you{+} desolate, and swallowed you{+} up on every side, that you{+} might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you{+} are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;
3 portanto, profetiza, e dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto vos fizeram assolado, e vos engoliram por todo lado, para que pudésseis ser por possessão ao resíduo dos pagãos, e sois tomados nos lábios de faladores, e são a infâmia do povo,
4 therefore, you{+} mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Yahweh: Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about;
4 portanto, vós montes de Israel, ouvi a palavra do Senhor DEUS: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS aos montes e às colinas, aos rios e aos vales, aos desertos desolados, e às cidades abandonadas, que se tornaram uma presa e escárnio para o resíduo dos pagãos que estão ao redor;
5 therefore thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, in order that its pasture ground [may be delivered] for plunder.
5 portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Certamente no fogo do meu ciúme eu falei contra o resíduo dos pagãos, e contra todo o Edom, que nomearam a minha terra por sua possessão, com a alegria de todo o seu coração, com mentes despeitadas, para a lançarem fora por uma presa.
6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Look, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you{+} have borne the shame of the nations:
6 Profetiza, portanto, sobre a terra de Israel, e dize aos montes e às colinas, aos rios e aos vales: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu falei no meu ciúme e na minha fúria, porque carregastes a vergonha dos pagãos;
7 therefore thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: I have sworn, [saying], Surely the nations that are round about you{+}, they will bear their shame.
7 portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu levantei a minha mão; certamente os pagãos que estão ao redor de vós, carregarão a sua vergonha.
8 But you{+}, O mountains of Israel, you{+} will shoot forth your{+} branches, and yield your{+} fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
8 Mas vós, ó montes de Israel, lançareis os vossos ramos, e dareis o vosso fruto para o meu povo de Israel; porque eles estão à mão para vir.
9 For, look, I am for you{+}, and I will turn to you{+}, and you{+} will be tilled and sown;
9 Porque, eis que eu sou por vós, e eu me voltarei para vós, e sereis lavrados e semeados;
10 and I will multiply man on you{+}, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities will be inhabited, and the waste places will be built;
10 e eu multiplicarei homens sobre vós, a toda a casa de Israel, toda ela; e as cidades serão habitadas, e os desertos serão edificados,
11 and I will multiply on you{+} man and beast; and they will increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you{+} to be inhabited after your{+} former estate, and will do better [to you{+}] than at your{+} beginnings: and you{+} will know that I am Yahweh.
11 e eu multiplicarei sobre vós homem e animal; e eles aumentarão e trarão fruto; e eu vos estabelecerei segundo suas antigas propriedades, e farei melhor a vós do que nos vossos princípios; e sabereis que eu sou o SENHOR.
12 Yes, I will cause man to walk on you{+}, even my people Israel; and they will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will no more from now on bereave them.
12 Sim, eu farei homens andarem sobre vós, o meu povo de Israel; eles te possuirão, e tu serás a sua herança, e daqui em diante não os privarás mais de homens.
13 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Because they say to you{+}, You [land] are a devourer of man, and have been a bereaver of your nation;
13 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Porquanto vos dizem: Tu, terra, devoras os homens, e privaste as tuas nações;
14 therefore you will devour man no more, neither bereave your nation anymore, says the Sovereign Yahweh;
14 portanto, tu não devorarás mais os homens, nem privarás mais as tuas nações, diz o Senhor DEUS.
15 neither will I let you hear anymore the shame of the nations, neither will you bear the reproach of the peoples anymore, neither will you cause your nation to stumble anymore, says the Sovereign Yahweh.
15 Nem eu farei mais com que os homens ouçam em ti a vergonha dos pagãos, nem carregarás mais a vergonha do teu povo, nem farás mais com que as tuas nações caiam, diz o Senhor DEUS.
16 Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16 Além disso, a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
17 Son of Man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
17 Filho do homem, quando a casa de Israel habitava em sua própria terra, eles a contaminaram com os seus próprios caminhos e com as suas ações; seu caminho era diante de mim como a imundícia de uma mulher removida.
18 Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;
18 Portanto, eu derramei a minha fúria sobre eles pelo sangue que haviam derramado sobre a terra, e por seus ídolos, com os quais a haviam poluído;
19 and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
19 e eu espalhei-os entre os pagãos, e eles foram dispersos pelas nações; de acordo com o seu caminho e de acordo com as suas ações, eu os julguei.
20 And when the people came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Yahweh, and have gone forth out of his land.
20 E quando eles entraram nos pagãos, para onde foram, profanaram meu santo nome, quando disseram a eles: Estas são as pessoas do SENHOR, e foram embora da sua terra.
21 But I had regard for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they went.
21 Mas eu tive pena por causa do meu santo nome, que a casa de Israel havia profanado entre os pagãos, para onde eles foram.
22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: I don't do [this] for your{+} sake, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you{+} have profaned among the nations, where you{+} went.
22 Portanto, dize à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eu não faço isto por causa de vós, ó casa de Israel, mas por causa do meu santo nome, que profanastes entre os pagãos, para onde fostes.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you{+} have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations will know that I am Yahweh, says the Sovereign Yahweh, when I will be sanctified in you{+} before their eyes.
23 E eu santificarei o meu grande nome, que foi profanado entre os pagãos, o qual profanastes no meio deles; e os pagãos saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, diz o Senhor DEUS, quando Eu for santificado em vós diante dos olhos deles.
24 For I will take you{+} from among the nations, and gather you{+} out of all the countries, and will bring you{+} into your{+} own land.
24 Porque eu os levarei dentre os pagãos, e vos ajuntarei de todas as nações, e vos trarei para dentro da vossa própria terra.
25 And I will sprinkle clean water on you{+}, and you{+} will be clean: from all your{+} filthiness, and from all your{+} idols, I will cleanse you{+}.
25 Então, eu aspergirei água limpa sobre vós, e ficareis limpos; de toda a vossa imundícia, e de todos os vossos ídolos vos purificarei.
26 A new heart also I will give you{+}, and a new spirit I will put inside you{+}; and I will take away the stony heart out of your{+} flesh, and I will give you{+} a heart of flesh.
26 Um novo coração também vos darei, e um novo espírito eu colocarei dentro de vós, e eu tirarei o coração de pedra da vossa carne, e vos darei um coração de carne.
27 And I will put my Spirit inside you{+}, and cause you{+} to walk in my statutes, and you{+} will keep my ordinances, and do them.
27 E eu colocarei o meu espírito dentro de vós, e vos farei andar nos meus estatutos, e guardareis os meus juízos, e os fareis.
28 And you{+} will dwell in the land that I gave to your{+} fathers; and you{+} will be my people, and I will be your{+} God.
28 E habitareis na terra que eu dei a vossos pais, e vós sereis o meu povo, e eu serei o vosso Deus.
29 And I will save you{+} from all your{+} uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you{+}.
29 Eu também vos salvarei de todas as vossas impurezas; eu vou chamar o trigo, e o aumentarei, e não colocarei fome sobre vós.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you{+} may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
30 E eu multiplicarei o fruto da árvore, e o aumento do campo, para que não mais recebais a vergonha da fome entre os pagãos.
31 Then you{+} will remember your{+} evil ways, and your{+} doings that were not good; and you{+} will loathe yourselves in your{+} own sight for your{+} iniquities and for your{+} disgusting behaviors.
31 Então, vos lembrareis dos vossos próprios maus caminhos, e das vossas ações que não foram boas, e tereis nojo de si mesmos à vossa própria vista por vossas iniquidades e por vossas abominações.
32 I don't do [this] for your{+} sake, says the Sovereign Yahweh, be it known to you{+}: be ashamed and confounded for your{+} ways, O house of Israel.
32 Não é por causa de vós que eu faço isto, diz o Senhor DEUS; que isso seja conhecido por vós; envergonhai-vos, e confundi-vos por causa dos vossos próprios caminhos, ó casa de Israel.
33 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: In the day that I cleanse you{+} from all your{+} iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places will be built.
33 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: No dia em que eu vos tiver purificado de todas as vossas iniquidades, eu também vos farei habitar nas cidades, e os desertos serão edificados.
34 And the land that was desolate will be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
34 E a terra assolada será lavrada, considerando que ela se encontra assolada à vista de todos que passavam.
35 And they will say, This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.
35 E dirão: Esta terra que estava assolada se tornou como o jardim do Éden; e as cidades devastadas, e assoladas, e arruinadas, estão cercadas e estão habitadas.
36 Then the nations that are left round about you{+} will know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.
36 Então, os pagãos que sobraram ao vosso redor saberão que eu, o SENHOR, edifico os lugares arruinados, e planto naquele que estava assolado; eu, o SENHOR, o falei e o farei.
37 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with man like a flock.
37 Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Ainda por isso eu serei inquirido pela casa de Israel, para fazer isto por eles; eu os aumentarei com homens como a um rebanho.
38 As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so will the waste cities be filled with flocks of man; and they will know that I am Yahweh.
38 Como o rebanho santo, como o rebanho de Jerusalém nas suas festas solenes, para que as cidades devastadas se encham de rebanhos de homens; e eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
