1 And I sawe an angell come doune from heven havinge the kaye of the bottomlesse pyt and a gret chayne in his honde.
1 E eu vi um anjo descer do céu, tendo a chave do abismo sem fundo e uma grande corrente na sua mão.
2 And he toke the drago that olde serpet which is the devyll and Satanas and he bounde him a thousand yeares:
2 E ele prendeu o dragão, a antiga serpente, que é o Diabo e Satanás, e amarrou-o por mil anos;
3 and cast him into the bottomlesse pit and he bounde him and set a seale on him yt he shuld desceaue the people no moare tyll the .M. yeares were fulfilled. And after yt he muste be loosed for a litell season.
3 e lançou-o no abismo sem fundo, e ali o encerrou, e pôs um selo sobre ele, para que ele não mais enganasse as nações, até que os mil anos se cumprissem; e após isso, ele deverá ser solto por um pouco de tempo.
4 And I sawe seattes and they sat apon them and iudgement was geven vnto them: and I sawe the soules of them that were behedded for the witnes of Iesu and for the worde of God: which had not worshypped the best nether his ymage nether had taken his marke vpon their forheddes or on their hondes: and they lyved and raygned with Christ a .M. yere:
4 E eu vi tronos; e assentaram-se sobre eles, e julgamento foi-lhes dado; e eu vi as almas daqueles que foram decapitados pelo testemunho de Jesus, e por causa da palavra de Deus, e que não haviam adorado a besta, nem a sua imagem, e nem haviam recebido sua marca em suas testas ou em suas mãos; e eles viveram, e reinaram com Cristo durante mil anos.
5 but the wother of the deed men lyved not agayne vntyll the .M. yere were fynisshed. This is that fyrst resurreccion.
5 Mas os demais mortos não reviveram até que os mil anos findassem. Esta é a primeira ressurreição.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath parte in the fyrst resurreccion. For on suche shall the seconde deeth have no power for they shalbe the prestes of God and of Christ and shall raygne with him a .M. yere.
6 Abençoado e santo é aquele que tem parte na primeira ressurreição; sobre estes a segunda morte não tem poder; mas eles serão sacerdotes de Deus e de Cristo, e reinarão com ele mil anos.
7 And when the .M. yeares are experied Satan shalbe lowsed out of his preson
7 E, quando completarem-se os mil anos, Satanás será solto de sua prisão;
8 and shall goo oute to deceave the people which are in the foure quarters of the erth Gog and Magog to gadder them to gedder to batayle whose nombre is as the sonde of the see:
8 e sairá para enganar as nações que estão nos quatro cantos da terra, Gogue e Magogue, para as ajuntar em batalha; cujo número é como a areia do mar.
9 and they went vp on the playne of the erth and compased the tentes of the saynctes about and the beloved cite. And fyre cam doune from God out of heven and devoured them:
9 E eles subiram sobre a largura da terra, e cercaram o arraial dos santos e a cidade amada; e de Deus desceu fogo, saiu do céu, e os devorou.
10 and the devyll that desceaved them was cast into a lake of fyre and brymstone where the beest and the falce prophet were and shalbe tormented daye and nyght for ever more.
10 E o diabo que os enganava, foi lançado no lago de fogo e enxofre, onde estão a besta e o falso profeta; e serão atormentados dia e noite para sempre e sempre.
11 And I sawe a grett whyte seate and him that sate on it from whose face fleed awaye both the erth and heave and their place was no more founde.
11 E eu vi um grande trono branco, e aquele que estava assentado sobre ele, de cuja face a terra e o céu fugiram; e não se achou lugar para eles.
12 And I sawe the deed both grett and small stonde before God: And the bokes were opened and another boke was opened which is the boke of lyfe and the deed were iudged of thoo thynges which weer wrytten in the bokes accordinge to their dedes:
12 E eu vi os mortos, pequenos e grandes, em pé diante de Deus, e os livros foram abertos; e outro livro foi aberto, que é o livro da vida. E os mortos foram julgados pelas coisas que estavam escritas nos livros, de acordo com as suas obras.
13 and the see gave vp her deed which were in her and deth and hell delyvered vp the deed which were in them: and they were iudged every man accordinge to his dedes.
13 E o mar entregou os mortos que nele havia; e a morte e o inferno entregaram os mortos que neles havia; e eles foram julgados; cada homem de acordo com suas obras.
14 And deth and hell were cast into the lake of fyre. This is that second deeth.
14 E a morte e o inferno foram lançados no lago de fogo. Esta é a segunda morte.
15 And whosoever was not founde written in the boke of lyfe was cast into the lake of fyre.
15 E todo aquele que não foi encontrado inscrito no livro da vida foi lançado no lago de fogo.
