Mateus 22
Xasasti talacaxlan (TOCNT) vs VC
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Pero cumu a̠má rey luu xca̠li̠pa̠huán xlá ca̠maca̠mpá tunujli̠túm xlacscujni xlacata chiné naca̠huanicán: “Caca̠huanítit tama̠ko̠lh quintaputza xlacata pi̠ catatláhualh li̠tlá̠n la̠li̠huán caquintalákmilh porque aya accha̠ná la̠ta huí tahuá uú nac pu̠tamakaxtokni. Aquit aya cca̠makni̠ni̠t quihuá̠cax chu xalakkón quintakalhí̠n, y xa̠huachí aya li̠huana̠ ca̠xtlahuacani̠t xalacuán tahuá.”
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Pero ma̠squi chuná ca̠huanícalh a̠ma̠ko̠lh lacchixcuhuí̠n hua̠nti̠ xca̠putzacani̠t ni̠ takalhachixcúhui̠lh y ni̠ táalh nac pu̠pa̠xcua. Cha̠tum alh nac xca̠tuhuá̠n y cha̠tumli̠túm alh nac xpu̠stá̠n.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Acxni̠ chú a̠má rey cátzi̠lh hua̠ntu̠ xca̠tlahuanicani̠t xtasa̠cuá̠n xlá luu li̠pe̠cua la̠ta sí̠tzi̠lh y ca̠li̠ma̠péksi̠lh makapitzí̠n tropa xlacata pi̠ caca̠makní̠calh a̠ma̠ko̠lh lacli̠xcájnit lacchixcuhuí̠n y na̠ caca̠lhcuyunícalh xca̠chiqui̠ncán.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Acali̠stá̠n chú ca̠huánilh xa̠makapitzí̠n xtasa̠cuá̠n: “Chú luu xaaccha̠ná huila̠náhu xlacata natamakaxtoka quinkahuasa y napa̠xcuajnaná̠hu, porque aya li̠huana̠ ca̠ca̠xya̠huacani̠t mesa y ca̠xtlahuacani̠t tahuá; pero huata a̠ma̠ko̠lh hua̠nti̠ aquit xaclacasquín naquintalakmín hua̠nti̠ xacca̠putzani̠t xlacán chú niaj ca̠mini̠niy natamín porque caj xpa̠lacata xali̠xcájnit xtapuhua̠ncán tali̠laktzanka̠ta̠yani̠t.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Pus huata mejor capimpítit huixinín nac ca̠tiji̠ní̠n xa̠huá nac xli̠lanca ca̠chiquí̠n, y caca̠huanítit xli̠hua̠k hua̠nti̠ nata̠tanoklhá̠tit xlacata pi̠ catámilh nac xpu̠tamakaxtokni quinkahuasa la̠qui̠ natamakua̠yán.”
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ama̠ko̠lh tasa̠cuá̠n táalh nac ca̠tiji̠ní̠n y pu̠tum tama̠ké̠stokli xli̠hua̠k hua̠nti̠ xlacán tama̠nóklhulh y pa̠tum tanú̠calh nac a̠má chiqui antanícu xpa̠xcuajnamá̠calh, la̠tachá tícuya̠ cristianos xtamini̠t hua̠nti̠ tla̠n xtacatzi̠ni̠t chu hasta hua̠nti̠ xtalaktzanka̠ta̠yani̠t.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ’Acxni̠ a̠má rey alh ca̠ucxilha hua̠nti̠ xtamini̠t nac pu̠pa̠xcua, pero xlá ni̠para tzinú ma̠tlá̠nti̠lh acxni̠ úcxilhli cha̠tum chixcú pi̠ ni̠tu̠ clhaka̠ni̠t a̠má la̠n lháka̠t hua̠ntu̠ ca̠ma̠xquí̠calh acxni̠ tatánu̠lh nac pu̠tamakaxtokni.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Entonces a̠má rey ca̠huánilh hua̠nti̠ xtamacascujmá̠nalh: “La̠li̠huán huakaj cachipátit, camacachí̠tit, na̠ li̠huana̠ calacchí̠tit y catamacxtútit nac quilhtí̠n antanícu luu ca̠pucsua la̠qui̠ antá natasay y nalacsa̠nán xtatzán caj xpa̠lacata pi̠ la̠n napa̠ti̠nán.”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Y Jesús chiné ca̠huánilh a̠ma̠ko̠lh cristianos:
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Acali̠stá̠n a̠ma̠ko̠lh fariseos luu lacxtum tali̠lacchuhuí̠nalh xlacata natakalhasquín Jesús aktum tachuhuí̠n la̠qui̠ chicá para túcu ni̠ tancs nakalhti̠nán chuná chú huij nahuán hua̠ntu̠ natali̠ma̠lacapu̠y.
15 — ausente —
16 Pus huata xlacán tama̠lakácha̠lh makapitzí̠n xcompañeroscán chu makapitzí̠n hua̠nti̠ xtata̠ta̠yay rey Herodes. Acxni̠ xlacán talákcha̠lh chiné takalhásquilh:
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Pus clacasquiná̠hu pi̠ la̠nchú xquila̠huaníhu: ¿Pi̠ lakchá̠n la̠ta clakaxoko̠nunima̠náhu a̠má xapuxcu gobierno xalac Roma, osuchí ni̠ lakchá̠n?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Aver, caquila̠ma̠siyuníhu okxtum tumi̠n hua̠ntu̠ li̠lakaxoko̠nuná̠tit acxni̠ ca̠ma̠ta̠ji̠caná̠tit xlacata impuestos.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Jesús chiné ca̠kalhásquilh:
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 —Huá tamá xlacapú̠n lanca ma̠peksi̠ná gobierno —takalhtí̠nalh xlacán.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Acxni̠ xlacán takáxmatli hua̠ntu̠ ca̠huanícalh cacs talacáhua y niaj tacátzi̠lh lácu natahuaniy Jesús, huata mejor caj taakxtekyá̠hualh y taalhá.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Huatiyá a̠má quilhtamacú makapitzí̠n lacchixcuhuí̠n hua̠nti̠ xca̠huanicán saduceos talákalh antanícu xuilachá Jesús la̠qui̠ natata̠chuhui̠nán. Porque u̠ma̠ko̠lh lacchixcuhuí̠n xlacán xtahuán pi̠ ni̠ xli̠ca̠na talacastacuanán ni̠n nac ca̠li̠ní̠n, pus hua̠ xpa̠lacata chiné tali̠huánilh:
23 — ausente —
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Pus maktum quilhtamacú uú nac quilaksti̠pa̠ncán xtahuilá̠nalh kalhatujún li̠nata̠lán. Hua̠nti̠ xapuxcu tamakáxtokli pero ni̠ li̠maka̠s quilhtamacú ni̠lh y akxtekmákalh xpusca̠t, y cumu acxni̠ xla̠tá̠hui ni̠tu̠ ta̠kálhi̠lh xcamancán pus hua̠nti̠ xli̠cha̠tiy xta̠lá ta̠tamakáxtokli a̠má pusca̠t.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Pero a̠má xatajú kahuasa hua̠nti̠ na̠ ta̠táhui a̠má pusca̠t xlá na̠ ni̠lh, y na̠chuná akspúlalh xli̠kalhatutu y pu̠tum tali̠takátzi̠lh xli̠kalhatujuncán hua̠k li̠nata̠lán y hua̠k táni̠lh.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Y ni̠ ni̠maka̠s chú a̠má pusca̠t na̠ ni̠lh.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Pus chú caquila̠huaníhu, chi̠nchú acxni̠ natalacastacuanán ni̠n nac ca̠li̠ní̠n, ¿xatícu luu nata̠tapeksi̠y a̠má pusca̠t porque xkalhatutucán hua̠k tatita̠táhui?
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Jesús ca̠kálhti̠lh:
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Acxni̠ natalacastacuanán ni̠n nac ca̠li̠ní̠n, a̠ma̠ko̠lh lacchixcuhuí̠n xa̠huá lacpusca̠tní̠n niaj catitatamakáxtokli porque xta̠chuná natali̠taxtuy cumu la̠ ángeles hua̠nti̠ tahuilá̠nalh nac akapú̠n.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
32 “Aquit a̠má xDios Abraham, xDios Isaac, xa̠huá xDios Jacob.”
36 —Ma̠kalhtahuake̠ná, ¿xanícuma̠ xli̠ma̠peksí̠n Dios hua̠ntu̠ luu a̠tzinú quili̠ma̠kantaxti̠tcán nac quilatama̠tcán?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 — ausente —
38 — ausente —
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Y chi̠nchú xli̠pu̠lactiy na̠ a̠huayu xta̠chuná huamputún y chiné huán: “Calakalhámanti minta̠cristiano chuná cumu lá me̠cstu lakalhamancana.”
