1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.

2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Rü Tupanaãrü ore rü ñanagürü ta:ñanagürü. Rü ngẽmaãcü i guxü̃ma i ngẽma tama yaxõgüxü̃ rü tá chixexü̃gu nayi erü tama Tupanaga naxĩnüẽchaü̃ rü tama Cristuaxü̃́ nayaxõgüchaü̃. Rü ngẽmacèx Tupana tá nanapoxcue yema nüma nüxü̃ yaxuxü̃rüü̃.
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Natürü pema nixĩ i duü̃xü̃gü i tórü ãẽ̱xgacü ya Tupana pexü̃ dexü̃ na norü ngü̃xẽẽruü̃gü pixĩgüxü̃cèx. Rü nümatama ya Tupana nixĩ ga chixexü̃wa pexü̃ ínanguxü̃xẽẽxü̃ na norü ngóonexü̃ i mexẽchixü̃gu pechocuxü̃cèx.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Rü ü̃pa ga pema rü tama Tupanaãrü duü̃xü̃gü pixĩgü, natürü i ñu̱xma rü aixcüma norü duü̃xü̃gü pixĩgü. Rü ü̃pa rü taxúeaxü̃́ma pengechaü̃tümüü̃gü, natürü i ñu̱xma rü Tupanaãxü̃́ pengechaü̃tümüü̃gü.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Pa Chaueneẽgü ya Pexü̃ Changechaü̃güxex, rü ñu̱xma na Tupanaãrü duü̃xü̃gü pixĩgüxü̃, rü tama ñoma i naãnecü̱̃ã̱x pixĩgü. Rü ngẽmacèx pexü̃ chacèèxü̃ na nüxü̃ perüxoexü̃cèx i guxü̃ma i ngẽma ngúchaü̃gü i chixexü̃ i ñoma i naãnecü̱̃ã̱x nagu ĩxü̃. Erü ngẽma ngúchaü̃gü i chixexü̃ rü taãẽxü̃ chixexü̃gu nanguxẽẽchaü̃.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Rü name nixĩ i meã pemaxẽ napẽ́xewa i ngẽma duü̃xü̃gü i tama Tupanaxü̃ cuèxgüxü̃. Rü ngẽxguma woo poraãcü chixri pechiga yadexagügu i nümagü, rü tá nüxü̃ nadaugü na ñuxãcü mexü̃ pexügüxü̃, rü tá Tupanaxü̃ nicuèxüü̃gü i ngẽxguma Cristu wena núma ũxgu.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Rü name nixĩ na tórü Cori ya Ngechuchugagu tümaga pexĩnüẽxü̃ ya guxãma ya yíxema perü ãẽ̱xgacügü ixĩgüxe. Rü ngẽmaãcü name nixĩ i meã naga pexĩnüẽ ya ãẽ̱xgacü ya tacü ya Dumawa ngẽxmacü, erü nüma nixĩ i guxü̃ i togü i ãẽ̱xgacügüétüwa nangẽxmaxü̃.

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Erü Tupana nanaxwèxe na mexü̃ pexügüxü̃ na ngẽmaãcü ipeyanangeèxgüxẽẽxü̃cèx i ngẽma duü̃xü̃gü i tama Tupanaãrü orexü̃ cuáxchaü̃güxü̃ rü chixri ngẽma orechiga idexagüxü̃.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Rü ñu̱xma na Cristu pexü̃ ínguxü̃xẽẽxü̃, rü name nixĩ i duü̃xü̃gü i aixcüma ínguxü̃xü̃rüü̃ãcü meã pemaxẽ. Natürü ñu̱xma na ípenguxü̃xü̃ rü tama name na ngẽmamaã pegü ípepoxü̃xü̃ na ṯacü rü chixexü̃ pexügüxü̃cèx. Erü ñu̱xma na Tupanaãrü duü̃xü̃gü pixĩgüxü̃, rü name nixĩ i norü ngúchaü̃xĩcatama pexügü.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Rü name nixĩ i meã penayauxgü i guxü̃ma i duü̃xü̃gü. ¡Rü nüxü̃ pengechaü̃ i taeneẽgü i yaxõgüxü̃! ¡Rü nüxü̃ pemuü̃ẽ ya Tupana! ¡Rü naga pexĩnüẽ ya ãẽ̱xgacü ya tacü ya Dumacü̱̃ã̱x!
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Pa Duü̃xü̃gü i Coriã̱xgüxü̃x, ¡rü nüxü̃ pengechaü̃gü rü naga pexĩnüẽ i perü corigü! Rü tama name i ngẽma perü corigü i pemaã mecümaxü̃xü̃xĩcatama pengechaü̃gü, natürü name nixĩ i nüxü̃ pengechaü̃gü ta i ngẽma perü corigü i chixecümaxü̃.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Erü Tupana rü pemaã nataãẽ ega nüxü̃ na pengechaü̃güxü̃cèx yaxna namaã pexĩnüẽgu i ngẽxguma texé natücèxmamare chixexü̃ pemaã ü̱xgu rü ngúxü̃ pexü̃ tingexẽẽgu.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Natürü ¿ṯacüwa pexü̃́ namexü̃ ega yaxna namaã pexĩnüẽgu i ngẽxguma wüxi i perü chixexü̃cèx pepoxcuegu? Natürü ngẽxguma ṯacü rü mexü̃ i pexüxü̃gagu ngúxü̃ pingegügu rü yaxna namaã pexĩnüẽgu, rü ngẽma waxi nixĩ i Tupanapẽ́xewa mexü̃.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Rü ngẽma na mexü̃ pexüxü̃gagu ngúxü̃ pingegüxü̃cèx nixĩ i Tupana pexü̃ dexü̃. Yerü ga Cristu rü ta pexcèx ngúxü̃ ninge. Rü yemaãcü pexü̃ nüxü̃ nadauxẽẽ na ñuxãcü nüma nanaxwèxexü̃ na naxrüü̃ yaxna namaã pexĩnüẽxü̃ i ngẽma ngúxü̃.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Nüma ga Cristu rü taguma pecadu naxü, rü taguma texéxü̃ nawomüxẽẽ.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Rü yexguma duü̃xü̃gü chixexü̃ namaã ixugüegu, rü nüma rü taxuü̃ma ga chixexü̃maã nanangãxü̃. Rü yexguma ngúxü̃ nüxü̃ yangexẽẽgügu, rü nüma rü tama ṯacü rü chixexü̃maã nanaxãũxü̃ne. Natürü Tupanamaã nüxü̃ nixu na nüma namaã namexẽẽãxü̃cèx ga yema duü̃xü̃gü ga chixri namaã chopetüxü̃. Yerü nüxü̃ nacuèx rü Tupana rü aixcüma meã nanangugü i guxü̃ma i duü̃xü̃güarü maxü̃.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Rü nümatama ga Cristu rü nügüxü̃negu nayange ga tórü pecadugü ga yexguma curuchagu nayu̱xgu. Rü yemaãcü nanaxü na nüxü̃ rüxoexü̃cèx i tórü chixexü̃ na naxcèxicatama imaxẽxü̃cèx. Nüma rü pexcèx nanapi̱x na yemaãcü pexü̃ nameẽxẽẽxü̃cèx.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Rü pema ga ü̃pa rü ñoma carnerugü i nu ne naxĩmarexü̃rüü̃ pixĩgü. Natürü i ñu̱xma rü marü Cristucèx pewoegu. Rü nüma nixĩ i perü dauruü̃ yiĩxü̃, rü nüma nixĩ i pexna nadauxü̃.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
