2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Uu upikɛikɔ́ tum tɛ pikɛ́ hɑ pisoi séleimɛ pikɛ́ ɑnyɑ̃́ ilukɛ li. Amɑ́ pisoi ɑpi isɑ́nɛséi iyɛ̃ yulu ɑpi ɑnyɑ̃́ wéntɛ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Uu kɔ pikɛikɔ́ picɔ pitumɛ kpɑ́ uu pi mɑɑ rɛ: Ani pisɑ́nɛ sée ɑni pi símisi rɛ: Anyɑ̃́ ilukɛ yɛ pipele mɑsilɛ. Anɛ́nɑ́ɑlɑ nɛ inɛ́sɛɛ kpɔkɔɔ́ kɑm kṍ. Ḿpɑ́ yo yɛ kɛ́yu wɑlɛ. Ani kɑm ɑni pinɔ́sikpikɛ́ ɑnyɑ̃́ ilukɛ li.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ápi nkpɑ́ni isɑ́nɛséi iyɛ̃ kutu ricɔ. Ḿpɑ́ úye uu ulikɔ́-mɛ̃ tɔ́mpɔ. Picɔ ɑpi sicɑrɛ wɑikɛɛ, picɔ ɑpi ɑyɑ́ɑ tɔ́ŋɑɑpɔ
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 pitɔ́rɔɔ pɔ́ɔ pikɛikɔ́ pɛ̃ cɔ́pii ɑpi isɛi pi wɑisɛ ɑpi pɛɛ pi kóni.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Ai uyɔ́ɔpi kuwɔ́i wɑi, uu upisɔ́ɔ́cɑ tum ɑpí hɑ pisoi pɛ̃ kóni ɑpi pikuyu nnɑ ŋmɑɑsi.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Uu pɛɛ upikɛikɔ́ picɔ mɑɑ rɛ: Anyɑ̃́ ilukɛ yɛ pipele mɑsilɛ, ɑmɑ́ pisɑ́nɛ ɑ́pi pɛɛ ikulukɛ tulɑɑlɛ̃.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Lɛ̃ nnyɑ, ɑni sicéepɛnɛ-i léepɔ, nɔn píye n yɛ̃, ɑni kusɑ́nɛ pi séiri.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Upikɛikɔ́ pɛ̃ ɑpi yisi ɑpi icée tóói ɑpi pisoi nnɛ́í kɑpi n yɛ̃́ sélei, pisɔnɛ nɛ pikópɛ, pisɑ́nɛ ɑpi pɛɛ kɛnyɑ̃́yɔ yipu.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Kei kɛ uyɔ́ɔpi uu pɛɛ lompɔ rɛ ukɛ́ pisɑ́nɛ pɛ̃ yɑ́ɑ́si, uu usoi unyinɛ yɛnu yɛɛ úu inyɑ́nlũ n tɑnɑɑlɛ̃.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Uu u pisɛ rɛ: Unɛ́sɑ́nɛ, íye kɑɑ wɑ ɑɑ́ nɛ nté lonti ɑ́ɑ kɔ inyɑ́nlũ tɑnɑɑlɛ̃? Ai utisi muuni uú n sɛ́ɛ́lɛ̃.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Uyɔ́ɔpi uu pɛɛ pikɛikɔ́ mɑɑ rɛ: Ani ɑ́nɑ nɛ ɑnípɛ u pɑɑsi ɑni kɛtɑhɑi kuŋmɑhɑ-i u sɑ́pɔ. Kei kuu yɛ́ n téni un inĩ́ tɑkɑi.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yeesu uu pɛɛ rɛ: Li we rɛ pisoi kulúi kɑpi sée, ɑmɑ́ pɛ̃ kɑpi pikɛcɔpɛ n wɛ́ɛ ɑ́pi pɛɛ kulúi we.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Kei kɛ Pifɑrisi ɑpi pɛɛ símɑɑnɛ rɛ íye kɑpi yɛ́ nɛ Yeesu ripinɛ wɑ pikɛ́ nɛ unnɔɔsimɛ́ cirɛ u n tĩ́.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Tɔ lɑ rɛ ɑ kɛpɔ́múŋɛ́ rɔ́ símisi tɔkɛ́ yɛ̃́ tɛ ncée yɛ we rɛ tɔkɛ́ yɛ Rɔm uyɔɔpi lɑmpoo hɛ́ɛ́lɛ nɛ́ɛ ɑ́ri kɑpɛ yɛ hɛ́ɛlɛ?
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Amɑ́ Yeesu pɔ̃́ nɛ pimɛsɔhɔ kópɛ kɑpi n wɑi pinyuwɛ mɑ́ɑ́lɛnlɛ. Uu pɛɛ pi mɑɑ rɛ: Nɔ́ kɛcɑ́ɑ́ kɛcɑ́ɑ́ mɛwɑi pikɔ́ mpí, yo nnyɑ kɑni nɛ́ peikɛɛ?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Ani nɛ siwóó sɛ̃ kɑni yɛ nɛ lɑmpoo n hɛ́ɛlɛ kɑm nkɛ̃́! Api mɛwóópipi mɛsɛ nɛ u hɑpɔ.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Uu pɛɛ pi pisɛ rɛ: Úye riyu nɛ úye rinyiri tɛɛ nní mɛkɛcɑ́ɑ́ we?
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Api u pɛsɛ rɛ: Sesɑɑ lo. Kei kɛ Yeesu uu kɔ pi mɑɑ rɛ: In lɛ̃, ɑni Sesɑɑ likɔ́ Sesɑɑ pɑ, ɑni Uléécɑɑ likɔ́ Uléécɑɑ pɑ.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Kɛyɑ́ɑ kɛ̃ cirɛ kɛ Pisɑtusee ɑpi Yeesu kɛ́mɛɛ hɑ. Pisɑtusee pɛɛ tee rɛ pikpɔkpɔ ɑ́pi yɛ nkpɔ-i yisi. Api sĩ́ ɑpí hɑ Yeesu lɛɛpɔ, ɑpi u pisɛ rɛ: Sɑ́ɑ, Moisi yɛ mɑɑ rɛ:

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Too! Amɑ́ piŋmɑ́nɛ pinyinɛ pɛɛ pɛɛ kɛrɔ́cɔpɛ nté we. Pi pimɑ́rɛcɔ pisɛɛi lɛ. Umɑ́ɑ uu unɔ́si kpísi, uu kpi úu kɛwɑ̃́ yɛ̃. Uwɑ̃́ uu pɛɛ umɑ́ɑ ukúmɑnnɔsi kpísi.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Uyɛ̃ uu kɔ limɛcɔ kpi, uu ukúmɑnnɔsi uyɛ̃ nɛ utɑ́ɑ́nũ yɑ́. Ai lɛ̃ n wɑi hɑ́i nɛ usɛ́ɛ́i-sɛ́ɛ́i kɛ́mɛɛ-pɔ.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Pɛ̃ mɛmɑ́ɑ́, unɔ́si uyɛ̃ pɔ́ɔ kɔ kpi.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Tɔ lɑ tɔkɛ́ nkpéni pɔ́ pisɛ rɛ kɛ pimɑ́rɛcɔ pisɛɛi pɛ̃ ɑpi nní pinnɛ́í unɔ́si uyɛ̃ n kpísi, pi uye unɔsi yɛ hɑ lo, kɛyɑ́ɑ kɛ̃ kɛ pikpɔkpɔ ɑpí hɑ nkpɔ kɛ́mɛɛ n yisinɛ?
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Kei kɛ Yeesu uu pɛɛ pi pɛsɛ rɛ: Lɛ̃ nnyɑ kɑni nɔ́mɛnɛ́círɛ kirɑɑsɛntɛ. Áni Nléécɑɑsimɛ́ ɑsei kómɛi, ɑ́ni kɔ Uléécɑɑ nnɑŋɛ nyu.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kumúŋɛ́ kpɛ-i kɛ pikpɔkpɔ ɑpí hɑ n yisinɛ, pitisi ɑ́pi pinɔ́si kpíkɛsinɛ, pinɔ́si pɑ́ɑ kɔ pilɑ sɔ́ɔnkɛɛnɛ. Amɑ́ pimɛfinɛ yɛ́ hɑ n we yɑrɛ piléécɑɑtumɛ kɛyómɛcɑɑ-pɔ.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Áni lɛ̃ kɛ Uléécɑɑ uu pikpɔkpɔ mɛyisɛ kɛcɑ́ɑ́ nɔ́ ḿ mɑ ɑpi Unsímɛ́ Ritɛlɛ́ kɛ́mɛɛ wɔ́lu kɛ́ɛ̃, nɛ́ɛ yo? U mɑɑ rɛ:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 Nɛ́ɛ Apirɑhɑm Uleecɑɑ nɛ Isɑɑki Uleecɑɑ nɛ Yɑkupu Uleecɑɑ. Uléécɑɑ úu pikpɔkpɔ Uleecɑɑ ɑmɑ́ u pinyɑ́nnyɑ̃́ Uleecɑɑ lɛ.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Pikɛcɔpɛ isé ucélɑɑ unyinɛ uu pɛɛ ripinɛ Yeesu wɑi uu u pisɛ rɛ:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 Ucélɑɑ, Uléécɑɑ iseé nnɛ́í kɛ́mɛɛ íye yɛɛ imɑ́ɑ?
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yeesu uu rɛ: A Upíimɑ, Upɔ́léécɑɑ n lɑ nɛ kɛpɔ́fɑ nnɛ́í, nɛ ipɔ́soi nnɛ́í, nɛ kɛpɔ́múŋɛ́ nnɛ́í.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Iyɛɛ isé foí, iyɛɛ kɔ innɛ́í kɛcɔpɛ imɑ́ɑ.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:

42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yeesu uu pɛɛ pi mɑɑ rɛ: In lɛ̃, íye kɑi wɑ kɛ Nfɑ́ɑsɔnɛ nn Tɑfiti mɛtɛ́í hɛ uú nɛ u séi rɛ Upíimɑ? Tɑfiti yɛ pɛɛ́ mɑɑ rɛ:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 Upíimɑ yɛ Unɛ́píimɑ mɑɑ rɛ:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 In tɛ Tɑfiti yɛ mɛsei u sée rɛ Upíimɑ, íye kɛ uyɛ̃ cirɛ uu yɛ́ kɔ pɛɛ Tɑfiti Kɛpipi?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
