Apocalipse 9
OEB: Open English Bible (US Spelling) (SM_OEB) vs AAI
1 Then the fifth angel blew; and I saw a star that had fallen on the earth from the heavens, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
1 Tounamatar bai five ana tour bababin ana veya, ayu anuwanuw maramaim daman hea’obow me yan rara’iy aitin. Naatu daman Sou Awan Wanu’umin botawiyin isan ana tufatan hitin.
2 He opened the bottomless pit, and from the pit rose a smoke like the smoke of a great furnace. The sun and the air grew dark because of the smoke from the pit.
2 Naatu daman Sou Awan Wanu’umin ana tufatan uyi’uy ana maramaim sow agor kutikutin tit, ana’itin i ra’iy e’arah ana sow eyeyey na’atube. Sou Awan Wanu’umin ana sow yen veya matan naatu gagub etei gugum nuwayowanin en.
3 Out of the smoke locusts descended on the earth, and they received the same power as that possessed by scorpions.
3 Sow yey wanawananamaim ir afu’afuw hirob hire hina me yan hitit, naatu kafukafus ana fair na’atube ir afu’afuw hitih.
4 They were told not to harm the grass, or any plant, or any tree, but only those who have not ‘the seal of God on their foreheads.’
4 Naatu hi’uwih, “Men yen ana fotan o ana ai rourih men ta kwani’afiy, baise sabuw iyab God ana kwah nakwetahimaim men tema’am akisih kwani’afiyih.
5 Yet they were not allowed to kill them, but it was ordered that those men should be tortured for five months. Their torture was like the torture caused by a scorpion when it stings a person.
5 Naatu hi’uwih men sabuw kwanayubih hinamorob, baise kwanayubih weweh nakwan sumar five nasawar, kafukafus eyubih weweh ekwanikwan na’atube.”
6 In those days people ‘will seek Death and will not find it’; They will long to die, but Death flees from them.
6 Nati sumar five wanawanan weweh nakwanikwan ana maramaim sabuw boro morob ana ef hinanuwet, baise morob boro men hinatita’ur hai kok i boro mi’itube hitamorob, baise morob boro nabihir nawa’ir.
7 In appearance the locusts were like horses equipped for battle. On their heads there were what appeared to be crowns that shone like gold, their faces resembled human faces,
7 Ir afu’afuw biyah ana itinin i horse na’atube, yumatah ana itinin orot babin hai yumatabe, ukwarihimaim i sawar ta ana itinin kowas gold na’atube hiyara’aten auman baiyow isan hibobuna hitit.
8 and they had hair like the hair of a woman, their teeth were like lions’ teeth,
8 Aribuh i baibin aribuhibe naatu wah i lion wahibe.
9 and they had what seemed to be iron breastplates, while the noise of their wings was like the noise of chariots drawn by many horses, galloping into battle.
9 Dogoroh hai ber isan i sawar ta iron na’atube hi’afuw dogoroh hiyafafar, naatu bebeh ana nidun i horse moumurih baiyow isan tikik’ayowen tinunuw ana nidun na’atube.
10 They have tails like scorpions, and stings, and in their tails lies their power to harm people for five months.
10 Urahine i yuh auman, naatu hinayubi wewe ekwanikwan ana naniyan i kafukafus eyub wewe ekwanikwan na’atube. Sumar five sabuw yubih biyababan baitih isan yuhine hai fair hibai.
11 They have as their king the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name, in Hebrew, is ‘Abaddon,’ while, in Greek, his name is ‘Apollyon’ (the Destroyer).
11 Sou Awan Wanu’umin ana tounamatar i hai aiwob na’atube ma kaifih, tounamatar wabin Abaddon Hebrew fanahimaim, Greek fanahimaim i Apolion.
12 The first Woe has passed; and still there are two Woes to follow!
12 Biyababan aga’ag wantoro’ot i na sawar, naatu biyababan aga’ag rou’ab i boro tenan.
13 Then the sixth angel blew; and I heard a voice proceeding from the corners of the golden altar that stood before God.
13 Tounamatar bai six ana tour bababin ana veya, God nanamaim gem gold ana tainih kwafe’en fanah ine titit anowar,
14 It spoke to the sixth angel — the angel with the trumpet — and said ‘Let loose the four angels that are in chains at the great river Euphrates.’
14 fanan ta i tounamatar bai six isan eo, “Euphrates harew gagaminamaim tounamatar kwafe’en hifatum tebatabat kurufamih!”
15 Then the four angels, that were held in readiness for that hour and day and month and year, were let loose, to destroy a third of mankind.
15 Naatu tounamatar kwafe’en hirurufimih ana veya, nati veya ta’imon, nati sumar naatu nati kwamuramaim tafaram auwaraunane sabuw etei rouw morob isan hibobunabuna.
16 The number of the hosts of cavalry was ten thousand times ten thousand, twice told; I heard their number.
16 Orot baiyow isan himowaraboun tit hio anonowar etei i two hundred million na’atube.
17 And this is what the horses and their riders appeared to be like in my vision: — They had breastplates of fire, blood-red and sulphurous, and the heads of the horses were like lions’ heads, while out of their mouths issue fire, and smoke, and sulphur.
17 Naatu au mimumaim horse moumurih tafahimaim orot boyeyah auman hima’am, hai itinin i iti na’atube, dogoroh hai ber ana woun i wairaf na’atube, ana furumin i saphire na’atube, naatu ana wairin i sulfur na’atube, naatu horse ukwarih hai itinin lion na’atube, naatu awahimaim wairaf, sow agor kutikutin naatu sulfur hititit.
18 Through these three curses a third of humanity perished — because of the fire, and the smoke, and the sulphur that issued from their mouths;
18 Orot babin auwaraunane horse awahine sawow kakafih tounu, wairaf, sow naatu sulfur hititit imaim etei himorob.
19 for the power of the horses lies in their mouths and in their tails. For their tails are like snakes, with heads, and it is with them that they do harm.
19 Anayabin horse hai fair i awahimaim ma’am naatu yuhine auman ma’am, yuh hai itinin i kokobe ukwarih auman, nati’imaim sabuw tiyubih biyababan tibitih.
20 But those who were left of humanity, who had not perished through these curses, did not repent and turn away from what their own hands had made; they would not abandon the worship of ‘demons, and of idols made of gold or silver or brass or stone or wood, which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk’;
20 Sabuw turih sawow kakafin men hibai himomorob i men dogor baikitabir hibai abisa umahimaim hisinaf himamatar hihamiyenamih. demon hikwakwafirih, gold murubih, silver, bronze, agim, ai aurih matah en, tainih en remor en, aibat hitar hima hikwakwafirih men hihamiyen.
21 and they did not repent of their murders, or their sorceries, or their licentiousness, or their thefts.
21 Na’atube sabuw hi’asbunubunuw, hisew hikwerakwer, hibiwa’an kwanekwan, naatu hibabain men hihamiyen dogor baikitabiren hibaimih.
