1 Then I saw another portent in the heavens — a great and marvelous portent — seven angels with the seven last curses; because with them the wrath of God is ended.
1 Vi no céu outro sinal, grande e maravilhoso: sete anjos com as sete últimas pragas, pois com elas se completa a ira de Deus.
2 Then I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mixed with fire; and, standing by this sea of glass, holding the harps of God, I saw those who had come victorious out of the conflict with the Beast and its image and the number that formed its name.
2 Vi algo semelhante a um mar de vidro misturado com fogo, e, de pé, junto ao mar, os que tinham vencido a besta, a sua imagem e o número do seu nome. Eles seguravam harpas que lhes haviam sido dadas por Deus,
3 They are singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb — ‘Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord, our God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are your ways, eternal King.
3 e cantavam o cântico de Moisés, servo de Deus, e o cântico do Cordeiro: "Grandes e maravilhosas são as tuas obras, Senhor Deus todo-poderoso. Justos e verdadeiros são os teus caminhos, ó Rei das nações.
4 Who will not honor and praise your name, Lord? You alone are holy! All nations will come and worship before you, for your judgments have become manifest.’
4 Quem não te temerá, ó Senhor? Quem não glorificará o teu nome? Pois tu somente és santo. Todas as nações virão à tua presença e te adorarão, pois os teus atos de justiça se tornaram manifestos".
5 After this I saw that the inmost shrine of the tent of testimony in heaven was opened,
5 Depois disso olhei, e vi que se abriu no céu o santuário, o tabernáculo da aliança.
6 and out of it came the seven angels with the seven curses. They were adorned with precious stones, pure and bright, and had golden girdles around their breasts.
6 Saíram do santuário os sete anjos com as sete pragas. Eles estavam vestidos de linho puro e resplandecente, e tinham cinturões de ouro ao redor do peito.
7 One of the four Creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls, filled with the wrath of God who lives for ever and ever.
7 E um dos quatro seres viventes deu aos sete anjos sete taças de ouro cheias da ira de Deus, que vive para todo o sempre.
8 ‘The Temple was filled with smoke from the glory’ and Majesty of God; and no one could enter the Temple, until the seven curses inflicted by the seven angels were at an end.
8 O santuário ficou cheio da fumaça da glória de Deus e do seu poder, e ninguém podia entrar no santuário enquanto não se completassem as sete pragas dos sete anjos.
