1 And coming, the Pharisees and Sadducees asked Him to show them a sign out of the heaven, tempting Him.
1 Os fariseus e os saduceus aproximaram-se de Jesus e o puseram à prova, pedindo-lhe que lhes mostrasse um sinal do céu.
2 But answering, He said to them, Evening coming on, you say, Clear sky, for the sky is red.
2 Ele respondeu: "Quando a tarde vem, vocês dizem: ‘Vai fazer bom tempo, porque o céu está vermelho’,
3 And at morning, Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you cannot the signs of the times.
3 e de manhã: ‘Hoje haverá tempestade, porque o céu está vermelho e nublado’. Vocês sabem interpretar o aspecto do céu, mas não sabem interpretar os sinais dos tempos!
4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And leaving them, He went away.
4 Uma geração perversa e adúltera pede um sinal miraculoso, mas nenhum sinal lhe será dado, a não ser o sinal de Jonas". Então Jesus os deixou e retirou-se.
5 And His disciples coming to the other side, they forgot to take loaves.
5 Indo os discípulos para o outro lado do mar, esqueceram-se de levar pão.
6 And Jesus said to them, Watch! And beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
6 Disse-lhes Jesus: "Estejam atentos e tenham cuidado com o fermento dos fariseus e dos saduceus".
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, Because we did not take loaves.
7 E eles discutiam entre si, dizendo: "É porque não trouxemos pão".
8 And knowing, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason among yourselves because you took no loaves, little-faiths?
8 Percebendo a discussão, Jesus lhes perguntou: "Homens de pequena fé, por que vocês estão discutindo entre si sobre não terem pão?
9 Do you not perceive nor recall the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand baskets you took up?
9 Ainda não compreendem? Não se lembram dos cinco pães para os cinco mil e de quantos cestos vocês recolheram?
10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many lunch baskets you took up?
10 Nem dos sete pães para os quatro mil e de quantos cestos recolheram?
11 How do you not perceive that it was not about loaves that I said to you to beware of from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?
11 Como é que vocês não entendem que não era de pão que eu estava lhes falando? Mas tomem cuidado com o fermento dos fariseus e dos saduceus".
12 Then they knew that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but from the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
12 Então entenderam que não estava lhes dizendo que tomassem cuidado com o fermento de pão, mas com o ensino dos fariseus e dos saduceus.
13 And coming into the parts of Caesarea of Philip, Jesus questioned His disciples, saying, Whom do men say Me the Son of Man to be?
13 Chegando Jesus à região de Cesaréia de Filipe, perguntou aos seus discípulos: "Quem os homens dizem que o Filho do homem é? "
14 And they said, Some say John the Baptist, and others Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
14 Eles responderam: "Alguns dizem que é João Batista; outros, Elias; e, ainda outros, Jeremias ou um dos profetas".
15 He said to them, But you, whom do you say Me to be?
15 "E vocês? ", perguntou ele. "Quem vocês dizem que eu sou? "
16 And answering, Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
16 Simão Pedro respondeu: "Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo".
17 And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.
17 Respondeu Jesus: "Feliz é você, Simão, filho de Jonas! Porque isto não lhe foi revelado por carne ou sangue, mas por meu Pai que está nos céus.
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against her.
18 E eu lhe digo que você é Pedro, e sobre esta pedra edificarei a minha igreja, e as portas do Hades não poderão vencê-la.
19 And I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. And whatever you bind on earth shall occur, having been bound in Heaven. And whatever you may loose on the earth shall be, having been loosed in Heaven.
19 Eu lhe darei as chaves do Reino dos céus; o que você ligar na terra terá sido ligado nos céus, e o que você desligar na terra terá sido desligado nos céus".
20 Then He warned His disciples that they should tell no one that He is Jesus the Christ.
20 Então advertiu a seus discípulos que não contassem a ninguém que ele era o Cristo.
21 From that time, Jesus began to show to His disciples that it was necessary for Him to go away to Jerusalem, and to suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and to be raised on the third day.
21 Desde aquele momento Jesus começou a explicar aos seus discípulos que era necessário que ele fosse para Jerusalém e sofresse muitas coisas nas mãos dos líderes religiosos, dos chefes dos sacerdotes e dos mestres da lei, e fosse morto e ressuscitasse no terceiro dia.
22 And having taken Him near, Peter began to rebuke Him, saying, God be gracious to You, Lord; this shall never be to You.
22 Então Pedro, chamando-o à parte, começou a repreendê-lo, dizendo: "Nunca, Senhor! Isso nunca te acontecerá! "
23 But turning He said to Peter, Go behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you do not think of the things of God, but the things of men.
23 Jesus virou-se e disse a Pedro: "Para trás de mim, Satanás! Você é uma pedra de tropeço para mim, e não pensa nas coisas de Deus, mas nas dos homens".
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him bear his cross, and let him follow Me.
24 Então Jesus disse aos seus discípulos: "Se alguém quiser acompanhar-me, negue-se a si mesmo, tome a sua cruz e siga-me.
25 For whoever may desire to save his life will lose it. But whoever may lose his life for My sake will find it.
25 Pois quem quiser salvar a sua vida, a perderá, mas quem perder a vida por minha causa, a encontrará.
26 For what will a man be benefited if he should gain the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his soul?
26 Pois, que adiantará ao homem ganhar o mundo inteiro e perder a sua alma? Ou, o que o homem poderá dar em troca de sua alma?
27 For the Son of man is about to come with His angels in the glory of His Father. And then "He will give reward to each according to his actions." LXX-Psa. 61:13; Pro. 24:12; MT-Psa. 62:12
27 Pois o Filho do homem virá na glória de seu Pai, com os seus anjos, e então recompensará a cada um de acordo com o que tenha feito.
28 Truly I say to you, There are some standing here who in no way will taste of death until they see the Son of man coming in His kingdom.
28 Garanto-lhes que alguns dos que aqui se acham não experimentarão a morte antes de verem o Filho do homem vindo em seu Reino".
