Ezequiel 6

1 And it happened, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
1 O Senhor Deus falou comigo assim:
2 Son of man, set your face towards the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.
2 — Homem mortal , olhe para as montanhas de Israel e dê a elas a minha mensagem.
3 And say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: So says the Lord Jehovah to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, Behold, I, even I will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.
3 Diga que ouçam a palavra do Senhor Deus, que ouçam aquilo que estou dizendo às montanhas, às colinas, aos desfiladeiros e aos vales: Eu, o Senhor Deus, mandarei uma espada para destruir os lugares onde o povo adora ídolos.
4 And your altars shall be ruined, and your pillars shall be broken. And I will cast down your slain before your idols.
4 Os altares de sacrifícios e os altares onde se queima incenso serão derrubados e arrasados. Todas as pessoas dali serão mortas na frente dos seus ídolos.
5 And I will put the dead bodies of the sons of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars.
5 Espalharei os cadáveres do povo de Israel; espalharei os ossos deles em volta dos altares.
6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be deserted, so that your altars may be laid waste and become guilty, and that your idols may be broken and brought to an end, and your pillars may be cut down, and your works wiped out.
6 Todas as cidades de Israel serão arrasadas, e os lugares onde se adoram ídolos serão destruídos. Assim todos os seus altares e os seus ídolos serão quebrados, os seus altares de incenso serão arrebentados, e tudo o que fizeram desaparecerá.
7 And the slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.
7 Pessoas serão mortas por toda parte, e os que ficarem vivos reconhecerão que eu sou o Senhor .
8 Yet I will leave a remainder, so that may be left to you those who escape the sword among the nations, in your scattering among the lands.
8 — No entanto, deixarei que alguns escapem da matança e sejam espalhados entre as nações
9 And those who escape shall remember Me among the nations where they will be exiled, because I was broken by their whoring heart which has turned away from Me, and by their whoring eyes which go after their idols. And they shall loathe against their faces for the evils which they have done in all their abominations.
9 para onde forem levados como prisioneiros. Ali eles lembrarão de mim e saberão que eu os castiguei e os envergonhei porque o seu coração infiel me abandonou, e, em vez de me adorarem, eles preferiram adorar ídolos. 10 And they shall know that I am Jehovah; not in vain have I said to do this evil to them.
10 Saberão que eu sou o Senhor e que as minhas ameaças não foram feitas à toa.
11 So says the Lord Jehovah: Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas, for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the plague.
11 O Senhor Deus disse: — Ezequiel, torça as mãos, bata os pés e grite de tristeza por causa de todas as coisas más e nojentas que os israelitas fizeram. Eles morrerão na guerra, de fome e de doença.
12 He who is far off shall die by the plague, and he who is near shall fall by the sword, and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine. So I will fulfill My fury on them.
12 Os que estiverem longe ficarão doentes e morrerão; os que estiverem perto serão mortos na guerra. Os que restarem morrerão de fome. Eles sentirão toda a força da minha ira .
13 And you shall know that I am Jehovah when their slain shall be in the midst of their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every leafy oak, (the place where they offered there a soothing aroma to all their idols).
13 Corpos de mortos serão espalhados entre os ídolos e em volta dos altares. Esses corpos serão espalhados nos lugares onde o povo queimou sacrifícios aos seus ídolos, isto é, em todos os lugares altos, no alto de todas as montanhas, debaixo de todas as árvores verdes e de todos os grandes carvalhos. Então todos saberão que eu sou o Senhor .
14 And I will stretch out My hand on them and make the land a desolation even more desolate than the desert toward Diblath, in all their dwelling places. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
14 Levantarei a mão e destruirei o país deles. Desde o deserto, no Sul, até a cidade de Ribla, no Norte, eu farei com que a sua terra fique abandonada e não terei pena de nenhum lugar onde os israelitas vivem. Então todos ficarão sabendo que eu sou o Senhor .
