Deuteronômio 31

1 And Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel.
1 E Moisés foi e falou estas palavras a todo Israel.
2 And he said to them, I am a hundred and twenty years old today. I am not able any more to go out and to come in. And Jehovah has said to me, You shall not cross over this Jordan.
2 E lhes disse: Hoje eu tenho cento e vinte anos de idade; não posso mais sair e entrar; também o SENHOR me disse: Não passarás este Jordão.
3 Jehovah your God will cross over before you; He shall destroy these nations from before you, and you shall possess them. Joshua is the one who shall cross over before you, as Jehovah has spoken.
3 O SENHOR teu Deus irá diante de ti, e ele destruirá estas nações de diante de ti, e tu as possuirás; e Josué irá adiante de ti, como o SENHOR disse.
4 And Jehovah shall do to them as He has done to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and to their land, which He destroyed before them.
4 E o SENHOR fará a eles o que fez a Seom e a Ogue, reis dos amorreus, e à terra deles, que ele destruiu.
5 And Jehovah shall give them up before your face, and you shall do to them according to all the command which I have commanded you.
5 E o SENHOR os entregará diante da tua face, para que façais a eles conforme todos os mandamentos que eu vos dei.
6 Be strong and brave. Do not fear them, or be afraid of them. For Jehovah your God is He who is going with you; He shall not fail you nor forsake you.
6 Sede fortes, e de boa coragem, não temais, nem vos amedronteis com eles; porque o SENHOR teu Deus é quem vai contigo; ele não te deixará, nem te desamparará.
7 And Moses called for Joshua, and said to him before the eyes of all Israel, Be strong and brave, for you shall go in with this people to the land which Jehovah has sworn to their fathers, to give it to them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.
7 E Moisés chamou Josué, e lhe disse diante de todo Israel: Sê forte e de boa coragem, pois deves ir com este povo à terra que o SENHOR jurou a seus pais, que lhes daria; e tu os farás herdá-la.
8 And Jehovah is He who is going before you; He Himself shall be with you; He shall not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be afraid.
8 E o SENHOR é quem vai diante de ti; ele estará contigo, não te deixará, nem te desamparará; não temas, nem desanimes.
9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, those hearing the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and to all the elders of Israel.
9 E Moisés escreveu esta lei, e a entregou aos sacerdotes, os filhos de Levi, que levavam a arca do pacto do SENHOR, e a todos os anciãos de Israel.
10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of seven years in the appointed time, the year of release, in the Feast of Tabernacles,
10 E Moisés lhes ordenou, dizendo: Ao fim de cada sete anos, na solenidade do ano de remissão, na festa dos tabernáculos,
11 when all Israel comes in to see the face of Jehovah in the place which He chooses, you shall proclaim this law before all Israel, in their ears.
11 quando todo Israel deverá comparecer diante do SENHOR teu Deus, no lugar que ele escolher, lerás esta lei diante de todo Israel aos seus ouvidos.
12 Assemble the people, men and women, and the little ones, and your alien who is within your gates, so that they may hear, and so that they may learn, and may fear Jehovah your God, and take heed to do all the words of this law;
12 Congrega o povo, os homens, e as mulheres, e as crianças, e os estrangeiros que estão dentro de tuas portas, para que possam ouvir, e para que possam aprender, e temer ao SENHOR vosso Deus, e observar e cumprir todas as palavras desta lei;
13 and their sons who have not known shall hear, and shall learn to fear Jehovah your God all the days which you live on the land where you are crossing over the Jordan to possess it.
13 e para que seus filhos, que não conhecerem nada desta lei, possam ouvir e aprender a temer ao SENHOR vosso Deus, enquanto viverdes na terra à qual ides, passando o Jordão, para possuí-la.
14 And Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, your days are coming near to die. Call Joshua, and present yourselves at the tabernacle of the congregation, and I shall charge him. And Moses and Joshua went, and they presented themselves at the tabernacle of the congregation.
14 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Eis que são chegados os teus dias, para que morras; chama a Josué, e apresentai-vos no tabernáculo da congregação, para que eu possa lhe dar uma ordem. E Moisés e Josué foram, e se apresentaram no tabernáculo da congregação.
15 And Jehovah appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud stood at the door of the tabernacle.
15 E o SENHOR apareceu no tabernáculo, em uma coluna de nuvem, e a coluna de nuvem ficou sobre a porta do tabernáculo.
16 And Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers, and this people shall rise up and go lusting after the gods of the strangers of the land into which they are going, and shall forsake Me, and shall break My covenant which I made with it.
16 E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Eis que, dormirás com teus pais; e este povo se levantará, e se prostituirá seguindo os deuses dos estrangeiros da terra, para onde irão para estar entre eles, e me abandonarão, e romperão o meu pacto que fiz com eles.
17 And My anger shall burn against them in that day, and I shall forsake them and hide My face from them. And it shall be consumed, and many evils and distresses shall find this people . And it shall say in that day, Is it not because my God is not in my midst, that these evils have found me?
17 Então nesse dia a minha ira se acenderá contra ele, e os abandonarei, e esconderei deles a minha face, e eles serão devorados, e muitos males e problemas lhes acontecerão; e dirão naquele dia: Não nos alcançaram estes males porque o nosso Deus não está entre nós?
18 And I will completely hide My face in that day, because of all the evil which this people has done, for it shall turn to other gods.
18 E certamente ocultarei a minha face naquele dia, por todos os males que eles tiverem feito, porque se voltaram a outros deuses.
19 Now, then, write this song for you, and teach it to the sons of Israel. Put it in their mouths, so that this song shall be for a witness to Me against the sons of Israel.
19 Agora, portanto, escrevei este cântico para vós, e ensinai-o aos filhos de Israel; ponde-o em suas bocas, para que este cântico me possa ser um testemunho contra os filhos de Israel.
20 And I shall bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I have sworn to their fathers. And you shall eat and be satisfied, and become fat, and shall turn to other gods; and they shall serve them, and despise Me, and break My covenant.
20 Pois quando eu os tiver trazido à terra que jurei aos seus pais, que mana leite e mel, e quando tiverem comido e se saciado, e engordado, então eles se voltarão a outros deuses, e os servirão, e me provocarão, e romperão o meu pacto.
21 And it shall be, when many evils and distresses have found them, this song shall testify against them as a witness. For it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed. For I know their imagination which they are making today, before I bring them into the land which I have sworn.
21 E acontecerá que, quando lhes vierem muitos males e problemas, que este cântico testemunhará contra eles, como uma testemunha; porque ele não será esquecido nas bocas de sua semente; pois conheço a sua imaginação, o que eles fazem mesmo agora, antes que eu os tenha colocado na terra que jurei.
22 And Moses wrote this song on that day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.
22 Portanto, Moisés escreveu este cântico, no mesmo dia, e o ensinou aos filhos de Israel.
23 And He commanded Joshua the son of Nun, and said, Be strong and brave. For you shall bring the sons of Israel into the land which I have sworn to them, and I shall be with you.
23 E deu uma ordem a Josué, filho de Num, e disse: Sê forte e de boa coragem, porque trarás os filhos de Israel à terra que jurei a eles, e eu serei contigo.
24 And it happened, when Moses finished writing the words of this law in a book, until their conclusion,
24 E aconteceu que, quando Moisés terminou de escrever as palavras desta lei em um livro, até finalizá-las.
25 that Moses commanded the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, saying,
25 Moisés ordenou aos levitas, que levavam a arca do pacto do SENHOR, dizendo:
26 Take this book of the law, and you shall put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, so that it may be there for a witness against you.
26 Tomai este livro da lei e ponde-o ao lado da arca do pacto do SENHOR vosso Deus, para que ali esteja por testemunha contra ti.
27 For I have known your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, you have been rebellious against Jehovah. And how much more after my death!
27 Porque eu conheço a tua rebelião, e a tua arrogância; eis que, vivendo eu ainda hoje convosco, fostes rebeldes contra o SENHOR; e quanto mais, depois da minha morte?
28 Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, and I shall speak in their ears these words, and cause Heaven and the earth to testify against them.
28 Congregai-me todos os anciãos de vossas tribos, e os vossos oficiais, para que eu possa falar estas palavras aos seus ouvidos, e chamar céus e terra para que façam registro contra eles.
29 For I know that after my death you shall utterly corrupt yourselves, and will turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil shall happen to you in the latter end of the days because you shall do evil in the eyes of Jehovah, to make Him angry with the work of your hands.
29 Porque sei que depois da minha morte, vos corrompereis completamente, e vos afastareis do caminho que vos ordenei; e nos últimos dias o mal vos virá; porque fareis mal aos olhos do SENHOR, para provocá-lo à ira, pela obra das vossas mãos.
30 And Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until their conclusion:
30 E Moisés falou aos ouvidos de toda a congregação de Israel as palavras deste cântico, até que se acabaram.
