AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 And looking on the sanhedrin, Paul said, Men, brothers, I in all good conscience have conducted myself toward God to this day.
1 Paul nuw Kaniser itihkikin naatu eo, “Taituwau ayu au yawas tutufin etei God matanamaim men kafa’imo erekasiy auman ama na iti boun titamih.” Paul Jerusalem kanisel nahimaimbat tibibabatiy|alt="Paul speaking to council in Jerusalem" src="cn01975B.tif" size="col" loc="Act 23.1" copy="©1978 David C. 2 But Ananias the high priest ordered those standing by him to strike his mouth.
2 Iti na’at eo basit Firis Gagamin wabin Ananias orot iyab Paul sisibinamaim hibatabat awan roufoforamih iuwih.
3 Then Paul said to him, God is going to strike you, whitened wall! And do you sit judging me according to the Law, and contrary to the Law command me to be stricken?
3 Baise Paul iu, “God o awa boro narufofoforen, yumat rah ana sis! O baibabatiyenayan orot wai, aisim o taiyuw ofafar ibai awau roufoforenamih sabuw kubiyunih!”
4 And those standing by said, Do you revile the high priest of God?
4 Orot Paul sisibin hibatabat hio, “O God ana Firis Gagamin isan men tur kakafih inao’omih!”
5 And Paul said, Brothers, I did not know that he is high priest; for it has been written, "You shall not speak evil" "of a ruler of your people." Ex. 22:28
5 Paul iyafutih eo, “Teutuwau ayu men aso’ob i Firis Gagamin. Buk Atamaninamaim eo, ‘O men tur kakafin a sabuw hai bonawiyenayan isan inao’omih.’”
6 But knowing that the one part consisted of Sadducees, and the other of Pharisees, Paul cried out in the sanhedrin, Men, brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees; I am being judged concerning hope and resurrection of the dead!
6 Imaibo nati ana maramain Kaniser sabuw Paul inanih, sabuw nati’imaim hiruru’ay afa i Sadducee afa i Pharisee, naatu Paul Kaniser sabuw isah fanan aumetawat eaf eo, “Teituwou! Ayu i Pharisee, naatu Pharisee orot natun. Ayu iti baibatiyen efanamaim abatabat anayabin abitumatum morobone misir maiye ana nuhufot abai ama’am isan!”
7 And he having spoken this, there was a discord between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the multitude was divided.
7 Iti na’atube eo ana maramaim, Pharisee naatu Sadducee bairi hitarayouw higam naatu kou’ay hikusib.
8 For the Sadducees indeed say there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit. But Pharisees confess both.

9 And there was a great cry. And the scribes of the part of the Pharisees rising up, they were contending, saying, We find nothing evil in this man. And, If a spirit spoke to him, or an angel, let us not fight against God.
9 Naatu gamin gagamin na’in matar, Ofafar bai’obaiyenayah iyab Pharisee ana kou’ay himisir fanah sib higam hio, “Paul i men abisa ta kakafin sinafumih, men taso’ob afiy o tounamatar ta na hairi hio.”
10 And discord having arisen, fearing lest Paul should be torn by them, the chiliarch commanded the soldiery to go down to snatch him out of their midst, and to bring him into the fortress.
10 Gamin ra’at sasa, naatu baiyowayah hai orot ukwarin bir eo, Paul boro hinarab hinatensisib, naatu baiyowayah iuwih hire hin kou’ay wanawanan hirun Paul umahine hiba’aruwih hibai hina hai bar hiyari’ay.

11 Nati gugumin Regah na Paul sisibinamaim bat eo “Koufair inab! Jerusalemamaim ayu isou i’orereb na’atube inan Rome imaim ef ta’imon inasinaf inaorerereb.”
12 And it becoming day, some of the Jews making a conspiracy cursed themselves, saying neither to eat nor to drink until they should kill Paul.
12 Marto, marauman Jew sabuw afa hina hita’imon hiyakitifuw naatu omatanen hiwa’an harew o bay men hinaa hinatom hinama’am Paul hinarab namorobabo.
13 And those making this plot were more than forty;

14 who coming near to the chief priests and to the elders these said, With a curse we have cursed ourselves to taste of nothing until we shall kill Paul.
14 Imaibo hin firis ukwarih naatu regaregah ai’in biyah hitit hio, “Aki etei omatanen fokarin a’obaifaro bay boro men anaa anama nan Paul ana’asabun imaibo boro bay anaa.
15 Now, then, you with the sanhedrin inform the chiliarch, so that tomorrow he may bring him down to you, as intending more accurately to find out about him. And before his drawing near, we are ready to kill him.
15 Isan imih boun aki akokok kwa naatu Kaniser bairi tur kwaniyafar Rome Baiyowayan isan Paul nab kwa isa nare nan. Kwanifuw taiyuwin biyanamaim nuwet gewas kwanarouw kwanao nare nan. Baise aki boro efamaim anawa’ir anama’am nanan ana’asabun.”
16 But the son of Paul's sister hearing of the ambush, having come near, and entering into the fortress, reported to Paul.
16 Baise Paul rubin babin natun hiyayanuw nowar basit na barik bar tit run Paul ana tur eowen.
17 And calling near one of the centurions, Paul said, Bring this young man to the chiliarch, for he has something to report to him.

20 And he said, The Jews agreed to ask you that tomorrow you bring down Paul into the sanhedrin, as being about to inquire more accurately concerning him.
20 Orot iya’afut eo, “Jew orot gagagamih etei hibasit maras boro o hinifefeyani Paul inab inare Kaniser hai kou’ayomaim ana yare hinanuwetamih, baise nati i hai baifuwen.
21 Therefore, you must not be persuaded by them, for more than forty men of them lie in wait for him who put themselves under a curse neither to eat nor to drink until they kill him. And now they are ready, awaiting the promise from you.
21 Imih hai tur men inanowar, anayabin orot etei 40 tafanamaim auman boro efamaim hinawa’ir hinama hinakaif. 22 Then the chiliarch sent away the young man, charging him , Tell no one that you reported these things to me.
22 Baiyowayan ukwarin eo, “Men yait ta ana tur ina’owen abisa io anonowar.” Naatu orot iyafar tit in.
23 And having called near a certain two of the centurions, he said, Get two hundred soldiers ready, so that they may go to Caesarea, and seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen, from the third hour of the night;

25 For he was writing a letter, having this form:

26 Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor, Felix, greeting:
26 “Ayu Claudius Lysias, O Felix gawan orot gewas

29 Anunuwet men abisa kakafin iwa’an
30 And it being revealed to me that a plot against the man was about to be executed by the Jews, I at once sent him to you, also commanding the accusers to say the things against him before you. Farewell.
