Zacarias 12

1 An oracle. The word of Yahweh concerning Israel. “⌞Thus declares⌟ Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens, founds the earth, and forms the spirit of humankind in its midst:
1 O peso da palavra do SENHOR sobre Israel: Diz o SENHOR, o que estende os céus, e que estabelece o alicerce da terra, e que forma o espírito do homem dentro dele.
2 ‘Look, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup of reeling for all the surrounding nations; it will also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.
2 Eis que farei de Jerusalém uma taça de tremor para todos os povos ao redor, quando estiverem no cerco contra Judá, e contra Jerusalém.
3 ⌞And then⌟ on that day I will make Jerusalem a stone weight for all the peoples. All those lifting it up will grievously hurt themselves, and all the nations of the earth will assemble against it.
3 E naquele dia farei de Jerusalém uma pedra pesada para todos os povos; e todos os que a carregarem serão cortados em pedaços, embora todo o povo da terra se reúna contra ela.
4 On that day,’ ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, ‘I will strike every horse with confusion, and the one riding it with madness; but over the house of Judah ⌞I will keep my eyes open⌟, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
4 Naquele dia, diz o SENHOR: Ferirei de espanto cada cavalo, e de loucura o seu cavaleiro; e abrirei os meus olhos sobre a casa de Judá, e ferirei cada cavalo do povo com cegueira.
5 And the clans of Judah will say ⌞to themselves⌟, “The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a strength to us, through Yahweh of hosts, their God.”
5 E os governadores de Judá dirão em seus corações: Os habitantes de Jerusalém serão a minha força no Senhor dos Exércitos, seu Deus.
6 “ ‘On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks of wood, and like a torch of fire among stalks of grain, and they will devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, and Jerusalem will be inhabited again in its place, in Jerusalem.
6 Naquele dia farei que os governadores de Judá sejam como um braseiro ardente no meio da floresta, e como uma tocha de fogo em uma faixa; e consumirão a todos os povos em redor, à direita e à esquerda, e Jerusalém será habitada outra vez no seu próprio lugar, em Jerusalém.
7 And Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be exalted over Judah.
7 O SENHOR salvará as tendas de Judá primeiramente, para que a glória da casa de Davi e a glória dos habitantes de Jerusalém não se exaltem sobre Judá.
8 On that day Yahweh will put a shield around the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the one who stumbles among them on that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of Yahweh, ⌞before them⌟.
8 Naquele dia, o SENHOR defenderá os habitantes de Jerusalém; e aquele que for o mais fraco dentre eles naquele dia será como Davi, e a casa de Davi será como Deus, como o anjo do SENHOR diante deles.
9 ⌞And then⌟ on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations coming against Jerusalem.
9 E acontecerá naquele dia que procurarei destruir todas as nações que vierem contra Jerusalém.
10 “ ‘I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication, and they will look to me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn over him, as one wails over an only child, and they will grieve bitterly over him as one grieves bitterly over a firstborn.
10 Mas derramarei sobre a casa de Davi, e sobre os habitantes de Jerusalém, o espírito de graça e de súplicas; e olharão para mim, a quem transpassaram; e prantearão sobre ele, como quem pranteia pelo seu único filho; e estarão em amargura por ele, como aquele que está em amargura pelo seu primogênito.
11 On that day the wailing will be great in Jerusalem, like the wailing for Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
11 Naquele dia haverá grande pranto em Jerusalém, como o pranto de Hadade-Rimom no vale de Megido.
12 And the land shall mourn, ⌞each clan by itself⌟; the clan of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the clan of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
12 E a terra pranteará, cada família à parte; a família da casa de Davi à parte, e suas esposas à parte; e a família da casa de Natã à parte, e suas esposas à parte;
13 the clan of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the clan of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves;
13 a família da casa de Levi à parte, e suas mulheres à parte; a família de Simei à parte, e suas mulheres à parte;
14 and all those clans remaining, ⌞each clan by itself⌟, and their wives by themselves.’ ”
14 todas as famílias que restarem, cada família à parte, e suas esposas à parte.
