¹ I will sing of loyal love and justice; I will sing praises to you, O Yahweh.

¹ Cantarei a respeito da bondade e da justiça; a ti,

² I will give attention to the way of integrity. When will you come to me? I will walk in the integrity of my heart in the midst of my house.

² Quero, com sabedoria, refletir no caminho da perfeição. Quando virás ao meu encontro? Em minha casa, andarei com sinceridade de coração.

³ I will not set before my eyes any wicked thing. I hate the work of those who fall away; it will not cling to me.

³ Não porei coisa injusta diante dos meus olhos. Detesto a conduta dos que se desviam. Nada disto se pegará em mim.

⁴ A perverse heart will depart from me; I will not know evil.

⁴ Longe de mim o coração perverso; não quero conhecer o mal.

⁵ One who slanders his neighbor in secret, him I will destroy. One haughty of eyes and ⌞arrogant⌟ of heart, him I will not endure.

⁵ Ao que às escondidas calunia o próximo, a esse destruirei; o que tem olhar arrogante e coração orgulhoso, não o suportarei.

⁶ My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may live with me. He who walks in the way of integrity, he shall minister to me.

⁶ Os meus olhos procurarão os fiéis da terra, para que morem comigo; o que anda em reto caminho, esse me servirá.

⁷ There will not live in the midst of my house a worker of deceit. One who speaks lies will not remain before my eyes.

⁷ Não ficará em minha casa o que usa de fraude; o que fala mentiras não permanecerá diante dos meus olhos.

⁸ ⌞Each morning⌟, I will destroy all the wicked of the land, cutting off from the city of Yahweh all evildoers.

⁸ Manhã após manhã, destruirei todos os ímpios da terra, para limpar a cidade do dos que praticam a iniquidade.
