Levítico 17

1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
1 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés:
2 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the ⌞Israelites⌟, and you shall say to them, ‘This is the word that Yahweh has commanded, saying,
2 Fala a Arão e aos seus filhos, e a s todos os filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Isto é o que o Senhor tem ordenado:
3 “⌞Any man⌟ from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox or a sheep or a goat in the camp or who slaughters it ⌞outside the camp⌟
3 Qualquer homem da casa de Israel que imolar boi, ou cordeiro, ou cabra, no arraial, ou fora do arraial,
4 and he does not bring it to the tent of assembly’s entrance to present an offering to Yahweh ⌞before⌟ Yahweh’s tabernacle, then that man shall be accounted bloodguilty—he has poured out blood, and that man shall be cut off from the midst of his people.
4 e não o trouxer à porta da tenda da revelação, para o oferecer como oferta ao Senhor diante do tabernáculo do Senhor, a esse homem será imputado o sangue; derramou sangue, pelo que será extirpado do seu povo;
5 This is so that the ⌞Israelites⌟ may bring their sacrifices that they are sacrificing ⌞in the open field⌟ and bring them for Yahweh to the tent of assembly’s entrance to the priest, and they shall sacrifice fellowship offerings for Yahweh with them.
5 a fim de que os filhos de Israel tragam os seus sacrifícios, que oferecem no campo, isto é, a fim de que os tragam ao Senhor, à porta da tenda da revelação, ao sacerdote, e os ofereçam por sacrifícios de ofertas, pacíficas ao Senhor.
6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood on Yahweh’s altar at the tent of assembly’s entrance, and he shall ⌞burn⌟ the fat as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh.
6 E o sacerdote espargirá o sangue sobre o altar do Senhor, à porta da tenda da revelação, e queimará a gordura por cheiro suave ao Senhor.
7 And ⌞they may no longer sacrifice⌟ their sacrifices to the goat-idols after which they were prostituting. This is ⌞a lasting statute⌟ for them ⌞throughout⌟ their generations.” ’
7 E nunca mais oferecerão os seus sacrifícios aos sátiros, após os quais eles se prostituem; isso lhes será por estatuto perpétuo pelas suas gerações.
8 “And you shall say to them, ‘if there is ⌞anyone⌟ from the house of Israel or from the alien who dwells in their midst who offers a burnt offering or a sacrifice
8 Dir-lhes-ás pois: Qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que entre vós peregrinam, que oferecer holocausto ou sacrifício,
9 and he does not bring it to the tent of assembly’s entrance to ⌞sacrifice⌟ it for Yahweh, then that man shall be cut off from his people.
9 e não o trouxer à porta da tenda da revelação, para oferecê-lo ao Senhor, esse homem será extirpado do seu povo.
10 And if there is ⌞anyone⌟ from the house of Israel or from the alien who is dwelling in their midst who eats any blood, then I will set my face against the person who eats the blood, and I will cut him off from among his people.
10 Também, qualquer homem da casa de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que comer algum sangue, contra aquela alma porei o meu rosto, e a extirparei do seu povo.
11 Indeed the flesh’s life is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your lives, because it is the blood with the life that makes atonement.
11 Porque a vida da carne está no sangue; pelo que vo-lo tenho dado sobre o altar, para fazer expiação pelas vossas almas; porquanto é o sangue que faz expiação, em virtude da vida.
12 ⌞Therefore⌟ I said to the ⌞Israelites⌟, ‘⌞None of you⌟ may eat blood, nor may the alien who is dwelling in your midst eat blood.’
12 Portanto tenho dito aos filhos de Israel: Nenhum de vós comerá sangue; nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós comerá sangue.
13 “And if there is ⌞anyone⌟ from the ⌞Israelites⌟ or from the alien who is dwelling in their midst who hunts a wild game animal or a bird that may be eaten, then he shall pour out its blood, and he shall cover it with the soil.
13 Também, qualquer homem dos filhos de Israel, ou dos estrangeiros que peregrinam entre eles, que apanhar caça de fera ou de ave que se pode comer, derramará o sangue dela e o cobrirá com pó.
14 Indeed, the life of all flesh, its blood, is in its life, so I said to the ⌞Israelites⌟, ‘You may not eat the blood of any flesh, because the life of all flesh is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.’
14 Pois, quanto à vida de toda a carne, o seu sangue é uma e a mesma coisa com a sua vida; por isso eu disse aos filhos de Israel: Não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda a carne é o seu sangue; qualquer que o comer será extirpado.
15 “And if there is any person who eats a dead body or a mangled carcass, whether among the native or among the alien, then he shall wash his garments, and he shall wash himself with water, and he shall be unclean until the evening, and he shall be clean.
15 E todo homem, quer natural quer estrangeiro, que comer do que morre por si ou do que é dilacerado por feras, lavará as suas vestes, e se banhará em água, e será imundo até a tarde; depois será limpo.
16 But if he does not wash his garments and he does not wash his body, then he shall bear his guilt.”
16 Mas, se não as lavar, nem banhar o seu corpo, levará sobre si a sua iniquidade
