1 “Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the flock of my pasture,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
1 Ai dos pastores que destroem e dispersam as ovelhas do meu pasto, diz o SENHOR.
2 ⌞Therefore⌟ thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel concerning the shepherds who shepherd my people, “You yourselves have scattered my flock, and you have driven them away, and you do not attend to them. Look, I will punish you for the evil of your deeds,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
2 Portanto assim diz o Senhor Deus de Israel, contra os pastores que apascentam o meu povo: Vós dispersastes as minhas ovelhas, e as afugentastes, e não as visitas-tes; eis que visitarei sobre vós a maldade das vossas ações, diz o Senhor.
3 “Then I myself will gather together the remnant of my flock from all the lands where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their grazing place, and they will be fruitful, and they will become numerous.
3 E eu mesmo recolherei o restante das minhas ovelhas, de todas as terras para onde as tiver afugentado, e as farei voltar aos seus apriscos; e frutificarão, e se multiplicarão.
4 And I will raise up over them shepherds, and they will shepherd them, and they will no longer fear, and they will not be dismayed, and they will not be missing,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
4 E levantarei sobre elas pastores que as apascentem, e nunca mais temerão, nem se assombrarão, e nem uma delas faltará, diz o Senhor.
5 “Look, days are coming,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “when I will raise up for David a righteous branch, and he will reign as king, and he will achieve success, and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.
5 Eis que vêm dias, diz o Senhor, em que levantarei a Davi um Renovo justo; e, sendo rei, reinará e agirá sabiamente, e praticará o juízo e a justiça na terra.
6 In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell ⌞in safety⌟, and this is his name by which he will be called: ‘Yahweh is our righteousness.’
6 Nos seus dias Judá será salvo, e Israel habitará seguro; e este será o seu nome, com o qual Deus o chamará: O SENHOR JUSTIÇA NOSSA.
7 “⌞Therefore⌟ look, days are coming,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “when they will no longer say, ‘⌞As Yahweh lives⌟, who led up the ⌞Israelites⌟ from the land of Egypt,’
7 Portanto, eis que vêm dias, diz o Senhor, em que nunca mais dirão: Vive o Senhor, que fez subir os filhos de Israel da terra do Egito;
8 but ‘⌞As Yahweh lives⌟, who led up, and who brought the offspring of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where he had driven them.’ Then they will live in their land.”
8 Mas: Vive o Senhor, que fez subir, e que trouxe a geração da casa de Israel da terra do norte, e de todas as terras para onde os tinha arrojado; e habitarão na sua terra.
9 Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken in my midst. All my bones tremble. I have become like a drunken man, even like a man over whom wine has passed, because of Yahweh, and because of ⌞his holy words⌟.
9 Quanto aos profetas, já o meu coração está quebrantado dentro de mim; todos os meus ossos estremecem; sou como um homem embriagado, e como um homem vencido de vinho, por causa do Senhor, e por causa das suas santas palavras.
10 For the land is full of adulterers; for the land mourns because of a curse. The pastures of the desert are dry, and their evil has been their way of running, and their power is not right.
10 Porque a terra está cheia de adúlteros, e a terra chora por causa da maldição; os pastos do deserto se secam; porque a sua carreira é má, e a sua força não é reta.
11 “For both prophet as well as priest are godless, even in my temple I have found their wickedness,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
11 Porque tanto o profeta, como o sacerdote, estão contaminados; até na minha casa achei a sua maldade, diz o Senhor.
12 “⌞Therefore⌟ their way will be to them like the slippery places, they will be pushed in the darkness, and they will fall into it, for I will bring disaster on them in the year of their punishment,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
12 Portanto o seu caminho lhes será como lugares escorregadios na escuridão; serão empurrados, e cairão nele; porque trarei sobre eles mal, no ano da sua visitação, diz o Senhor.
13 “Now in the prophets of Samaria I saw a disgusting thing. They prophesied by Baal and they caused my people Israel to err.
13 Nos profetas de Samaria bem vi loucura; profetizavam da parte de Baal, e faziam errar o meu povo Israel.
14 And in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible. They commit adultery, and they walk in lies, and they make strong the hands of evildoers, so that they have not turned back each from his wickedness. All of them have become to me like Sodom, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
14 Mas nos profetas de Jerusalém vejo uma coisa horrenda: cometem adultérios, e andam com falsidade, e fortalecem as mãos dos malfeitores, para que não se convertam da sua maldade; eles têm-se tornado para mim como Sodoma, e os seus moradores como Gomorra.
15 ⌞Therefore⌟ thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets, “Look, I am going to let them eat wormwood and I will give them water of poison to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem went out ungodliness to all the land.”
15 Portanto assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos acerca dos profetas: Eis que lhes darei a comer losna, e lhes farei beber águas de fel; porque dos profetas de Jerusalém saiu a contaminação sobre toda a terra.
16 Thus says Yahweh of hosts, “You must not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They are deluding you with visions of their ⌞mind⌟, They do not speak from the mouth of Yahweh.
16 Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Não deis ouvidos às palavras dos profetas, que entre vós profetizam; fazem-vos desvanecer; falam da visão do seu coração, não da boca do Senhor.
17 They are continually saying to those who disregard the word of Yahweh, ‘Peace it will be to you,’ and to ⌞each one⌟ who walks in the stubbornness of his heart they say, ‘Calamity will not come upon you.’
17 Dizem continuamente aos que me desprezam: O Senhor disse: Paz tereis; e a qualquer que anda segundo a dureza do seu coração, dizem: Não virá mal sobre vós.
18 For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he has seen and heard his word? Who has listened attentively to his word and heard it?
18 Porque, quem esteve no conselho do Senhor, e viu, e ouviu a sua palavra? Quem esteve atento à sua palavra, e ouviu?
19 Look, the storm of Yahweh has gone forth in wrath, even a whirling tempest. It will whirl upon the head of the wicked.
19 Eis que saiu com indignação a tempestade do Senhor; e uma tempestade penosa cairá cruelmente sobre a cabeça dos ímpios.
20 The ⌞anger⌟ of Yahweh will not turn back until his doing and until his keeping the plans of his ⌞mind⌟. ⌞In latter days⌟ you will look closely at it with understanding.
20 Não se desviará a ira do Senhor, até que execute e cumpra os desígnios do seu coração; nos últimos dias entendereis isso claramente.
21 I have not sent the prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
21 Não mandei esses profetas, contudo eles foram correndo; não lhes falei, contudo eles profetizaram.
22 But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have caused them to turn from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.
22 Mas, se estivessem estado no meu conselho, então teriam feito o meu povo ouvir as minhas palavras, e o teriam feito voltar do seu mau caminho, e da maldade das suas ações.
23 Am I a God from near,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “and not a God from far?
23 Porventura sou eu Deus de perto, diz o Senhor, e não também Deus de longe?
24 Or can a person hide himself in secret places and I cannot see him?” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh. “Do I not fill up the heaven and the earth?” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
24 Esconder-se-ia alguém em esconderijos, de modo que eu não o veja? diz o Senhor. Porventura não encho eu os céus e a terra? diz o Senhor.
25 “I have heard what the prophets who prophesy lies have said in my name, ⌞saying⌟, ‘I have dreamed! I have dreamed!’
25 Tenho ouvido o que dizem aqueles profetas, profetizando mentiras em meu nome, dizendo: Sonhei, sonhei.
26 ⌞How long⌟ will this be in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceitfulness of their hearts,
26 Até quando sucederá isso no coração dos profetas que profetizam mentiras, e que só profetizam do engano do seu coração?
27 who plan to make my people forget my name by their dreams that they tell each one to his neighbor, just as their ancestors forgot my name through Baal?
27 Os quais cuidam fazer com que o meu povo se esqueça do meu nome pelos seus sonhos que cada um conta ao seu próximo, assim como seus pais se esqueceram do meu nome por causa de Baal.
28 The prophet who has with him a dream, let him tell the dream. But the prophet who has my word with him, let him speak my word faithfully. ⌞What is straw compared to wheat⌟?” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
28 O profeta que tem um sonho conte o sonho; e aquele que tem a minha palavra, fale a minha palavra com verdade. Que tem a palha com o trigo? diz o Senhor.
29 “Is not my word like fire?” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “and like a blacksmith’s hammer that breaks a rock into pieces?
29 Porventura a minha palavra não é como o fogo, diz o Senhor, e como um martelo que esmiúça a pedra?
30 “⌞Therefore⌟ look, I am against the prophets,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “who steal my words each one from his neighbor.
30 Portanto, eis que eu sou contra os profetas, diz o Senhor, que furtam as minhas palavras, cada um ao seu próximo.
31 Look, I am against the prophets,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “who take their tongues and declare as prophets, ‘Yahweh ⌞declares⌟.’
31 Eis que eu sou contra os profetas, diz o Senhor, que usam de sua própria linguagem, e dizem: Ele disse.
32 Look, I am against those who prophesy dreams of lies,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “and tell them, and they caused my people to err through their lies, and in their recklessness, when I myself have not sent them nor commanded them, so they profit not this people at all,” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
32 Eis que eu sou contra os que profetizam sonhos mentirosos, diz o Senhor, e os contam, e fazem errar o meu povo com as suas mentiras e com as suas leviandades; pois eu não os enviei, nem lhes dei ordem; e não trouxeram proveito algum a este povo, diz o Senhor.
33 “Now when this people, or a prophet, or a priest, ask you, ⌞saying⌟, ‘What is the burden of Yahweh?’ then you shall say to them, ‘⌞You are the burden⌟, and I will forsake you,’ ” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh.
33 Quando, pois, te perguntar este povo, ou qualquer profeta, ou sacerdote, dizendo: Qual é o peso do Senhor? Então lhe dirás: Este é o peso: Que vos deixarei, diz o Senhor.
34 “And the prophet, and the priest, and the people who say, ‘The burden of Yahweh,’ I will punish that man and his house.
34 E, quanto ao profeta, e ao sacerdote, e ao povo, que disser: Peso do Senhor, eu castigarei o tal homem e a sua casa.
35 Thus you shall say, each one to his neighbor and each one to his brother: ‘What has Yahweh answered?’ or, ‘What has Yahweh spoken?’
35 Assim direis, cada um ao seu próximo, e cada um ao seu irmão: Que respondeu o Senhor? e que falou o Senhor?
36 But you shall not mention the burden of Yahweh, for the burden is to each one his word, and so you twist the words of the living God, Yahweh of hosts, our God.
36 Mas nunca mais vos lembrareis do peso do Senhor; porque a cada um lhe servirá de peso a sua própria palavra; pois torceis as palavras do Deus vivo, do Senhor dos Exércitos, o nosso Deus.
37 Thus you shall say to that prophet, ‘What has Yahweh answered you?’ or, ‘What has Yahweh spoken?’
37 Assim dirás ao profeta: Que te respondeu o Senhor, e que falou o Senhor?
38 But if you say, ‘The burden of Yahweh,’ ⌞therefore⌟ thus says Yahweh, ‘because of your saying these words, “The burden of Yahweh,” then I will send to you, ⌞saying⌟, “You shall not say, ‘The burden of Yahweh.’ ” ’
38 Mas, porque dizeis: Peso do Senhor; assim o diz o Senhor: Porque dizeis esta palavra: Peso do Senhor, havendo-vos ordenado, dizendo: Não direis: Peso do Senhor;
39 ⌞Therefore⌟ look, here I am, and I will surely lift you up and forsake you and the city that I gave to you and to your ancestors from ⌞my presence⌟,
39 Por isso, eis que também eu me esquecerei totalmente de vós, e tirarei da minha presença, a vós e a cidade que vos dei a vós e a vossos pais;
40 and I will bring upon you ⌞an everlasting disgrace⌟ and ⌞an everlasting shame⌟ that will not be forgotten.”
40 E porei sobre vós perpétuo opróbrio, e eterna vergonha, que não será esquecida.
