Isaías 30

1 “Oh rebellious children!” ⌞declares⌟ Yahweh, “to make a plan, but not from me, and pour out a libation, but not from my Spirit, ⌞so as to add⌟ sin to sin.
1 Ai dos filhos rebeldes, diz o SENHOR, que recebem conselho, mas não de mim; e que se cobrem com uma capa, porém não do meu Espírito, para que possam adicionar pecado a pecado.
2 Who go to go down to Egypt, but they do not ask of my mouth, to take refuge in the protection of Pharaoh and to take refuge in the shadow of Egypt.
2 Que caminham para ir ao sul, em direção ao Egito, e não têm buscado uma resposta de minha boca, para se fortalecerem na força de Faraó e para confiar na sombra do Egito!
3 And the protection of Pharaoh shall be shame to you, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt, humiliation.
3 Portanto, a força de Faraó será a sua vergonha e a confiança na sombra do Egito sua confusão.
4 For his officials are at Zoan, and his envoys reach to Hanes.
4 Porque seus príncipes estavam em Zoã e seus embaixadores chegaram a Hanes.
5 Everyone will start to stink because of a people that cannot profit them, not for help and not for profiting, but for shame and also for disgrace.”
5 Eles estavam todos envergonhados de um povo que não podia beneficiá-los, nem ser um socorro ou proveitoso, porém uma vergonha e também uma desonra.
6 An oracle of the animals of the Negev: Through a land of trouble and distress, of lioness and lion, ⌞among⌟ them are snake and flying serpent; they carry their wealth on the ⌞backs⌟ of male donkeys and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people that cannot profit them.
6 A aflição dos animais do sul: para o interior de uma terra de dificuldade e angústia, de onde vem o leão velho e o jovem, a víbora e a flamejante serpente voadora. Eles carregarão suas riquezas sobre dorsos de jumentos novos, e seus tesouros sobre grupos de camelos, para um povo que não irá beneficiá-los.
7 For ⌞Egyptians⌟ help with vanity and emptiness, therefore I have called this one “Rahab, they are sitting.”
7 Porque os egípcios ajudarão em vão e sem obter resultados. Portanto, tenho eu clamado a este respeito: A força deles está sentada, imóvel.
8 Now go, write it on a tablet with them, and inscribe it on a scroll, ⌞that⌟ it may be ⌞for the time to come⌟, forever, forever.
8 Agora vá, escreve isto perante eles em uma tábua e registra isto em um livro, para que fique para o tempo vindouro, para sempre e sempre;
9 For it is a people of rebellion, deceitful children, children who are not willing to hear the instruction of Yahweh,
9 Que este é um povo rebelde, filhos mentirosos, filhos que não ouvirão a lei do SENHOR.
10 who say to those who do see, “You must not see!” and to the seers, “You must not see truth for us; speak smooth things to us, see illusions,
10 Os quais dizem aos videntes: Não vejam. E aos profetas: Não profetizem em nossa direção coisas corretas; falem para nós coisas suaves, profetizem enganos.
11 turn aside from the way, turn aside from the path, put an end to the holy one of Israel from our face.”
11 Saiais vós para fora do caminho, desviai-vos para fora da vereda, fazei o Santo de Israel parar de estar diante de nós.
12 Therefore the holy one of Israel says this: “Because you are rejecting this word and you trust in oppression and ⌞cunning⌟ and you rely on it,
12 Por conseguinte, assim diz o Santo de Israel: Pelo fato de vós terdes desprezado esta palavra e confiado na opressão e perversidade, e permanecerdes nisto.
13 therefore this iniquity shall come for you like a breach about to fall, bulging out on a high wall ⌞that breaks⌟ suddenly, in an instant.
13 Portanto, esta iniquidade será para vós como uma rachadura, prestes a cair, estufando-se para fora em um alto muro, cujo desabamento ocorre de repente, em um instante.
14 And he breaks it like a vessel of ⌞a potter⌟ breaks, that is crushed; he has no compassion, and no potsherd is found among its fragments ⌞to take fire⌟ from the hearth, or ⌞to skim⌟ water from the cistern.”
14 E ele quebrá-lo-á como o quebrar do vaso do oleiro, que é feito em pedaços; ele não poupará: de tal forma que não será encontrado no meio do que foi despedaçado um caco capaz de ser usado para pegar brasa de uma lareira, ou para retirar com isto água do poço.
15 For the Lord Yahweh, the holy one of Israel, said this: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; your strength shall be in quietness and in trust.” But you were not willing,
15 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS, o Santo de Israel: Em retornar e descansar vós sereis salvos. Na quietude e na confiança estarão vossa força. E vós não quisestes.
16 and you said, “No! For we will flee on horses!” Therefore you shall flee! And, “We will ride on swift horses!” Therefore your pursuers shall be swift!
16 Porém, vós dissestes: Não; pois nós fugiremos sobre cavalos; portanto, vós fugireis, e nós cavalgaremos sobre o cavalo veloz. Portanto, aqueles que vos perseguem serão ligeiros.
17 One thousand ⌞because of⌟ a threat of one, ⌞because⌟ of a threat of five you shall flee, until you are left like a flagstaff on ⌞top⌟ of a mountain, and like a signal on a hill.
17 Mil fugirão quando da repreensão feita por um, à repreensão de cinco vós fugireis. Até que vós sejais deixados como um farol sobre o cume de um monte e como uma bandeira sobre uma colina.
18 Therefore Yahweh waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he will rise up to show you mercy, for Yahweh is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
18 E, portanto, o SENHOR esperará, para que Ele seja misericordioso consigo, e, portanto, Ele será exaltado, que Ele possa ter misericórdia de vós, porque o SENHOR é um Deus de justiça. Abençoados são todos os que esperam por Ele.
19 For people will live in Zion; in Jerusalem, you will surely not weep. Surely he will be gracious to you; when he hears the sound of your cry, he will answer you.
19 Porque o povo habitará dentro de Sião, em Jerusalém. Tu não chorarás mais. Ele será muito benigno para contigo à voz de teu choro. Quando Ele vier a ouvi-lo, Ele te responderá.
20 And the Lord will give you the bread of distress and the water of oppression, but your teachers will not hide themselves any longer. And your eyes ⌞shall see⌟ your teachers.
20 E, embora o Senhor vos dê o pão da adversidade e a água da aflição, teus professores, contudo, não serão removidos a um canto nunca mais, porém teus olhos verão os teus mestres.
21 And your ears shall hear a word from behind you, saying, “this is the way; walk in it,” when you go to your right and when you go to your left.
21 E teus ouvidos escutarão uma palavra por trás de ti, dizendo: Este é o caminho, andai vós nele, quando vos virardes à direita e quando vos virardes à esquerda.
22 And you will defile the plating of your silver idols and the covering of your gold image. You will scatter them like contaminated things; you will say to it, “Filth!”
22 Vós também ireis profanar a cobertura de tuas imagens esculpidas, e o ornamento de tuas imagens fundidas de ouro. Tu as descartarás como se descarta um trapo de pano usado durante a menstruação. Tu dirás em direção a ela: Vai-te embora!
23 And he will give rain for your seed with which you sow the ground, and grain, the produce of the ground, and it will be rich and ⌞fertile⌟. On that day, your cattle will graze in broad pastures;
23 Então, ele dará a chuva de tua semente, com a qual semearás a terra; e pão daquilo que cresce da terra; e isto será próspero e abundante; naquele dia o teu rebanho se alimentará em grandes pastos.
24 and the oxen and the donkeys that till the ground will eat fodder, sorrel that has been winnowed with shovel and pitchfork.
24 Os bois, e os jumentinhos que lavram a terra comerão feno limpo, o qual tem sido joeirado com a pá e com a peneira.
25 And there will be streams on every high mountain and elevated hill, watercourses of water, on a day of great slaughter, when towers fall.
25 E haverá sobre toda a alta montanha e sobre toda a alta colina, rios e córregos de águas no dia da grande matança, quando as torres cairão.
26 And the light of the full moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, like the light of seven days, on the day when Yahweh binds up the breakage of his people, and he heals the wound of his blow.
26 Além disso, a luz da lua será como a luz do sol, e a luz do sol estará sete vezes mais forte, como a luz de sete dias, no dia em que o SENHOR enfaixar a ferida do seu povo e sarar o golpe de sua ferida.
27 Look! The name of Yahweh comes from afar, burning with his anger and heaviness of cloud. His lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is like a devouring fire.
27 Eis que o nome do SENHOR vem de longe, queimando com sua ira, e a carga disto é pesada. Os lábios dele estão cheios de indignação, e sua língua como um fogo devorador.
28 And his breath is like an overflowing river; it reaches up to the neck to shake the nations with the sieve of worthlessness; and a bridle that leads astray is on the jawbones of the peoples.
28 E sua respiração, como uma torrente transbordante, alcançará até a garganta, para peneirar as nações com a peneira de vaidade e haverá uma rédea nas mandíbulas do povo, levando-os a errar.
29 ⌞You shall have a song⌟ as in the night when a holy festival is kept, and a gladness of heart like one who goes with the flute, to go to the mountain of Yahweh, to the rock of Israel.
29 Vós tereis uma canção, como na noite em que uma solenidade santa é celebrada. E alegria de coração semelhante a quando alguém vai com uma flauta para vir ao monte do SENHOR, ao Poderoso de Israel.
30 And Yahweh will cause the majesty of his voice to be heard, and he will cause the descent of his arm to be seen, in furious anger and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst and a rainstorm and stones of hail.
30 E o SENHOR fará sua gloriosa voz ser ouvida, e mostrará o relampejar do seu braço com a indignação de sua ira e com a chama de um fogo devorador, com dispersão, e tempestade, e pedras de granizo.
31 Indeed, Assyria will be shattered by the voice of Yahweh; he strikes with the rod.
31 Porque por meio da voz do SENHOR os assírios serão derrubados, os quais golpeou com uma vara.
32 And every stroke of the staff of foundation that Yahweh lays will be on it with timbrels and lyres, and he will fight against it with battles of brandishing.
32 E, em todo lugar onde a liderança estabelecida vier a passar, a qual o SENHOR fará repousar sobre ele, isto ocorrerá com tamborins e harpas. E nas batalhas agitadas ele lutará com isto.
33 For Topheth has been prepared from yesterday; indeed, it is made ready for the king. He makes its pile of wood deep and wide; he makes fire and wood ⌞abundant⌟. The breath of Yahweh burns in it like a stream of sulfur.
33 Para Tofete está decretado há muito tempo. Sim, para o rei isto está preparado. Ele tem feito isto profundo e largo. A pira daquele lugar é fogo e muita madeira. O sopro do SENHOR, como uma torrente de enxofre, fará incendiá-lo.
