Ezequiel 30

1 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
1 Esta palavra do Senhor veio a mim:
2 “Son of man, prophesy, and you must say, ‘thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Wail, alas! For the day!
2 "Filho do homem, profetize e diga: ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: " ‘Clamem e digam: "Ai! Aquele dia! "
3 For a day is near; indeed, a day is near for Yahweh. A day of cloud, a time of the nations it will be.
3 Pois o dia está próximo, o dia do Senhor está próximo; será dia de nuvens, uma época de condenação para as nações.
4 And a sword will come in Egypt, and anguish will be in Cush, at the falling of the slain in Egypt. And they will take its wealth, and its foundation will be demolished.
4 A espada virá contra o Egito, e angústia virá sobre a Etiópia. Quando os mortos caírem no Egito, sua riqueza lhe será tirada e os seus alicerces serão despedaçados.
5 Cush and Put and Lud and all of Arabia and Kub and the people of the land of the treaty with them—by the sword they will fall.”
5 A Etiópia e Fute, Lude e toda a Arábia, a Líbia e o povo da terra da aliança cairão pela espada junto com o Egito.
6 Thus says Yahweh: “And the supporters of Egypt will fall, and the majesty of its strength will go down from Migdol to Syene; by the sword they will fall in it,” ⌞declares⌟ the Lord Yahweh.
6 " ‘Assim diz o Senhor: " ‘Os aliados do Egito cairão, e a sua orgulhosa força fracassará. Desde Migdol até Sevene eles cairão pela espada, palavra do Soberano Senhor’ ".
7 “And they will be desolate in the midst of desolate countries, and its cities will be in the midst of ruined cities.
7 " ‘Serão arrasados no meio de terras devastadas, e as suas cidades jazerão no meio de cidades em ruínas.
8 And they will know that I am Yahweh when I put my fire in Egypt, and all of its helpers are broken.
8 E eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu incendiar o Egito e todos os que o apóiam forem esmagados.
9 On that day messengers will go down from ⌞before me⌟ in the ships to terrify unsuspecting Cush, and anguish will be in them on the day of Egypt; for look, it is coming!”
9 " ‘Naquele dia de mim partirão mensageiros em navios para assustar o povo da Etiópia, que se sente seguro. A angústia se apoderará deles no dia da condenação do Egito, pois é certo que isso acontecerá.
10 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “And I will put an end to the crowds of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon.
10 " ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: " ‘Darei fim à população do Egito pelas mãos do rei Nabucodonosor da Babilônia.
11 He and his people with him, the most ruthless of nations, will be brought to destroy the land. And they will draw their swords against Egypt, and they will fill the land with the slain,
11 Ele e o seu exército, a nação mais impiedosa, serão levados para destruir a terra. Eles empunharão a espada contra o Egito e a terra ficará cheia de mortos.
12 and I will make the Nile streams dry land, and I will sell the land into the hand of bad people, and I will lay waste the land and its fullness by the hand of strangers. I, Yahweh, I have spoken.”
12 Eu secarei os regatos do Nilo e venderei a terra a homens maus; pela mão de estrangeiros deixarei arrasada a terra e tudo o que nela há. Eu, o Senhor, falei.
13 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “And I will destroy the idols, and I will put an end to the worthless idols from Memphis. And there will ⌞no longer be⌟ a prince from the land of Egypt, and I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
13 " ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: " ‘Destruirei os ídolos e darei fim às imagens que há em Mênfis. Não haverá mais príncipe no Egito, e espalharei medo por toda a terra.
14 And I will lay waste Pathros, and I will set fire in Zoan, and I will execute judgments in No.
14 Arrasarei o alto Egito, incendiarei Zoa e infligirei castigo a Tebas.
15 I will pour out my rage over Sin, the stronghold of Egypt, and I will cut off the crowd of No.
15 Derramarei a minha ira sobre Pelúsio, a fortaleza do Egito, e acabarei com a população de Tebas.
16 And I will set fire in Egypt, certainly Sin will writhe, and No will be breached, and Memphis will face enemies ⌞daily⌟.
16 Incendiarei o Egito; Pelúsio se contorcerá de agonia. Tebas será levada pela tempestade; Mênfis estará em constante aflição.
17 The young men of On and Pi Beseth will fall by the sword, and they will go into captivity.
17 Os jovens de Heliópolis e de Bubastis cairão pela espada, e a população das cidades irão para o cativeiro.
18 And at Tahpanhes the day will become dark when I break the yoke of Egypt, and in it the majesty of its strength will come to an end. A cloud will cover it, and its daughters will go into captivity.
18 As trevas imperarão em pleno dia em Tafnes quando eu quebrar o jugo do Egito; ali sua força orgulhosa chegará a um fim. Ficará coberta de nuvens, e os moradores dos seus povoados irão para o cativeiro.
19 And I will execute judgments in Egypt, and they will know that I am Yahweh.”
19 Assim eu trarei castigo ao Egito, e todos ali saberão que eu sou o Senhor. ’ "
20 ⌞And then⌟ ⌞in the eleventh⌟ year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
20 No sétimo dia do primeiro mês do décimo primeiro ano, a palavra do Senhor veio a mim:
21 “Son of man, the arm of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, I have broken. And look, it has not been bound up for giving of a remedy, or for the placing of a splint to bind it up to make it strong to take hold of the sword.”
21 "Filho do homem, quebrei o braço do faraó, rei do Egito. Não foi enfaixado para sarar nem lhe foi posta uma tala para fortalecê-lo o bastante para poder manejar a espada.
22 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Look! I am against Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and I will break his strong arm and the broken arm, and I will let the sword fall from his hand.
22 Portanto, assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Estou contra o faraó, rei do Egito. Quebrarei os seus dois braços, o bom e o que já foi quebrado, e farei a espada cair da sua mão.
23 And I will scatter Egypt among the nations, and I will disperse them among the countries.
23 Dispersarei os egípcios entre as nações e os espalharei entre os povos.
24 And I will strengthen the arm of the king of Babylon, and I will give my sword into his hand, and I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan with the groaning of the mortally wounded ⌞before him⌟.
24 Fortalecerei os braços do rei da Babilônia e porei a minha espada nas mãos dele, mas quebrarei os braços do faraó, e este gemerá diante dele como um homem mortalmente ferido.
25 And I will strengthen the arm of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh will fall. And they will know that I am Yahweh when I give my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will stretch it out to the land of Egypt.
25 Fortalecerei os braços do rei da Babilônia, mas os braços do faraó penderão sem firmeza. Quando eu puser minha espada na mão do rei da Babilônia e ele a brandir contra o Egito, eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
26 And I will scatter Egypt among the nations, and I will disperse them into the countries, and they will know that I am Yahweh.”
26 Eu dispersarei os egípcios no meio das nações e os espalharei entre os povos. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor".
