1 After these things I heard something like the loud sound of a great crowd in heaven saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
1 E depois destas coisas, eu ouvi uma grande voz de uma numerosa multidão no céu, dizendo: Aleluia! Salvação, e glória, e honra, e poder ao Senhor nosso Deus.
2 because his judgments are true and righteous, because he has passed judgment on the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and has avenged the blood of his slaves ⌞shed by⌟ her hand!”
2 Porque verdadeiros e justos são os seus juízos; porque ele julgou a grande prostituta, que corrompeu a terra com a sua fornicação, e vingou o sangue dos seus servos que estava na mão dela.
3 And a second time they said, “Hallelujah!” And her smoke goes up ⌞forever and ever⌟.
3 E novamente eles disseram: Aleluia! E a sua fumaça subiu para sempre e sempre.
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”
4 E os vinte e quatro anciãos, e os quatro animais, prostraram-se e adoraram a Deus, assentado sobre o trono, dizendo: Amém! Aleluia!
5 And a voice came out from the throne, saying, “Praise our God all his slaves, and those who fear him, the small and the great!”
5 E uma voz saiu do trono, dizendo: Louvai o nosso Deus, todos vós, seus servos, e vós que o temeis, tanto pequenos quanto grandes.
6 And I heard something like the sound of a great crowd and something like the sound of many waters and something like the sound of powerful thunder, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord God, the All-Powerful, reigns!
6 E eu ouvi como se fosse a voz de uma grande multidão, e como a voz de muitas águas, e como a voz de poderosos trovões, dizendo: Aleluia; porque o Senhor Deus onipotente reina.
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him the glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.
7 Alegremo-nos e regozijemo-nos, e demos honra a ele; porque as bodas do Cordeiro chegou, e sua esposa já se preparou.
8 And it has been granted to her that she be dressed in bright, clean fine linen (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).
8 E foi-lhe concedido que se vestisse de linho fino, puro e resplandecente porque o linho fino é a justiça dos santos.
9 And he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the banquet of the wedding celebration of the Lamb!” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
9 E ele disse-me, escreve: Abençoados são aqueles que são chamados à ceia das bodas do Cordeiro. E disse-me: Estas são as verdadeiras palavras de Deus.
10 And I fell down before his feet to worship him, and he said to me, “⌞Do not do that!⌟ I am a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
10 E caí a seus pés para o adorar; e ele me disse: Atenta para que tu não faças isso; eu sou o teu conservo, e de teus irmãos, que têm o testemunho de Jesus. Adora a Deus; porque o testemunho de Jesus é o espírito de profecia.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and the one seated on it was called “Faithful” and “True,” and with justice he judges and makes war.
11 E eu vi o céu aberto, e eis um cavalo branco; e o que estava assentado sobre ele era chamado de Fiel e Verdadeiro; e com justiça julga e guerreia.
12 Now his eyes were a flame of fire, and on his head were many royal headbands having a name written that no one except he himself knows.
12 Seus olhos eram como chamas de fogo; e sobre a sua cabeça havia muitas coroas; e ele tem um nome escrito, que nenhum homem conhecia, senão ele mesmo.
13 And he was dressed in an outer garment dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God.
13 E ele estava vestido com veste banhada em sangue; e o seu nome é chamado de: A Palavra de Deus.
14 And the armies that are in heaven, dressed in clean, white fine linen, were following him on white horses.
14 E os exércitos que estavam no céu seguiam-no sobre cavalos brancos, vestidos de linho fino, branco e limpo.
15 And out of his mouth came a sharp sword, so that with it he could strike the nations. And he will shepherd them with an iron rod, and he stomps the winepress of the wine of the furious wrath of God, the All-Powerful.
15 E de sua boca sai uma espada afiada, para que com ela castigue as nações; e ele as governará com cetro de ferro; e ele pisa o lagar do vinho da fúria e da ira do Deus Todo-Poderoso.
16 And he has a name written on his outer garment and on his thigh: “King of kings and Lord of lords.”
16 E ele tem sobre a sua veste e sobre a sua coxa um nome escrito: REI DOS REIS, E SENHOR DOS SENHORES.
17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly ⌞directly overhead⌟, “Come! Assemble for the great banquet of God,
17 E eu vi um anjo que estava de pé no sol, e ele gritou com alta voz, dizendo a todas as aves que voam pelo meio do céu: Vinde, e ajuntai-vos à ceia do grande Deus;
18 in order that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of military tribunes, and the flesh of the powerful, and the flesh of horses and those seated on them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slave, and small and great!”
18 para que possais comer a carne de reis, e a carne de capitães, e a carne de homens poderosos, e a carne de cavalos e dos que neles se assentam; e a carne de todos os homens, tanto livres quanto escravos, tanto pequenos quanto grandes.
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war with the one who is seated on the horse and with his army.
19 E eu vi a besta, e os reis da terra, e os seus exércitos reunidos, para guerrearem contra aquele que está assentado sobre o cavalo, e contra o seu exército.
20 And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs before him, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who had worshiped his image. The two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.
20 E a besta foi tomada e com ele o falso profeta que operava milagres diante dele com os quais enganava os que receberam a marca da besta, e os que adoraram a sua imagem. Estes dois foram lançados vivos no lago de fogo, queimando com enxofre.
21 And the rest were killed by the sword of the one who is seated on the horse—the sword that comes out of his mouth—and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
21 E os remanescentes foram mortos com a espada daquele que está assentado sobre o cavalo, espada que saía da sua boca; e todas as aves se fartaram com a carne deles.
