1 A Psalm of David, at the completion of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O sons of God, bring to the Lord the sons of rams.
1 A ti clamo, ó Senhor ; rocha minha, não sejas surdo para comigo; para que não suceda, se te calares acerca de mim, seja eu semelhante aos que descem à cova.
2 Bring to the Lord, glory and honor. Bring to the Lord, glory for his name. Adore the Lord in his holy court.
2 Ouve-me as vozes súplices, quando a ti clamar por socorro, quando erguer as mãos para o teu santuário.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters. The God of majesty has thundered. The Lord is over many waters.
3 Não me arrastes com os ímpios, com os que praticam a iniquidade; os quais falam de paz ao seu próximo, porém no coração têm perversidade.
4 The voice of the Lord is in virtue. The voice of the Lord is in magnificence.
4 Paga-lhes segundo as suas obras, segundo a malícia dos seus atos; dá-lhes conforme a obra de suas mãos, retribui-lhes o que merecem.
5 The voice of the Lord shatters the cedars. And the Lord will shatter the cedars of Lebanon.
5 E, visto que não atentam para os feitos do Senhor , nem para o que as suas mãos fazem, ele os derribará e não os reedificará.
6 And it will break them into pieces, like a calf of Lebanon, and in the same way as the beloved son of the single-horned beast.
6 Bendito seja o Senhor , porque me ouviu as vozes súplices!
7 The voice of the Lord cuts through the flame of fire.
7 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu escudo; nele o meu coração confia, nele fui socorrido; por isso, o meu coração exulta, e com o meu cântico o louvarei.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert. And the Lord will quake the desert of Kadesh.
8 O Senhor é a força do seu povo, o refúgio salvador do seu ungido.
9 The voice of the Lord is preparing the stags, and he will reveal the dense woods. And in his temple, all will speak his glory.
9 Salva o teu povo e abençoa a tua herança; apascenta-o e exalta-o para sempre.
10 The Lord causes the great flood to dwell. And the Lord will sit as King in eternity.
