¹ Alleluia. Sing to the Lord a new song. His praise is in the Church of the saints.

¹ Louvai ao Senhor! Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, e o seu louvor na assembléia dos santos!

² Let Israel rejoice in him who made them, and let the sons of Zion exult in their king.

² Alegre-se Israel naquele que o fez; regozijem-se os filhos de Sião no seu Rei.

³ Let them praise his name in chorus. Let them sing psalms to him with the timbrel and the psaltery.

³ Louvem-lhe o nome com danças, cantem-lhe louvores com adufe e harpa.

⁴ For the Lord is well pleased with his people, and he will exalt the meek unto salvation.

⁴ Porque o Senhor se agrada do seu povo; ele adorna os mansos com a salvação.

⁵ The saints will exult in glory. They will rejoice upon their couches.

⁵ Exultem de glória os santos, cantem de alegria nos seus leitos.

⁶ The exultations of God will be in their throat, and two-edged swords will be in their hands:

⁶ Estejam na sua garganta os altos louvores de Deus, e na sua mão espada de dois gumes,

⁷ to obtain vindication among the nations, chastisements among the peoples,

⁷ para exercerem vingança sobre as nações, e castigos sobre os povos;

⁸ to bind their kings with shackles and their nobles with manacles of iron,

⁸ para prenderem os seus reis com cadeias, e os seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;

⁹ to obtain judgment over them, as it has been written. This is glory for all his saints. Alleluia.

⁹ para executarem neles o juízo escrito; esta honra será para todos os santos. Louvai ao Senhor!
