AAI TUR GEWASIN O BAIBASIT BOUBUN
1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judea, heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
1 Tur Abarayah naatu baitumatumayah Judea wanawanan Ufun Sabuw God ana tur hibaib isan tur hinowar.
2 And when Peter went up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,
2 Imih Peter yena Jerusalem titit ana veya baitumatumayah hai ar afu’afuw himisir higam hio,
3 saying: You went in to uncircumcised men, and ate with them.
3 “O in Ufun Sabuw hai ar mo’oh tutufih bairi kwama kwa’aa kwatomatom iti ina.”
4 And Peter began, and laid the matter before them in order, saying:
4 Naatu Peter busuruf aneika abisa mamatar i kubuna hai tur eowen eo.
5 I was in the city of Joppa, praying; and, while in a trance, I saw a vision, some vessel like a great sheet, descending, let down from heaven by the four corners; and it came even to me.
5 “Veya ta Joppa ama ayoyoyoban ana maramaim matau hibora’ah sawar ta rar gagamin na’atube tainin kwafe’en marane hikuhamihamiy rena sisibu’umaim nutanub.
6 When I had looked attentively into it, I observed and saw four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts and creeping things and birds of the air.
6 Ayu anunuwariy for yumatah ta ta a’itan, uma’ar, kok, uway naatu mamu aitah,
7 And I heard a voice saying to me, Rise, Peter, kill and eat.

8 But I said, By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.
8 Baise ayu ao, ‘Regah men karam, anayabin bay kakafih naatu gubagub auman men kafa’imo awau’umaim narunamih.’
9 But the voice answered me a second time from heaven, What God has cleansed, you must not call common.
9 Baise orot fanan iban maiye marane eafare eo, ‘Sawar abisa God kurereb gewasin eo, o men kakafin inarouw inao’omih.’
10 This was done the third time, and all was drawn up again into heaven.

12 And the Spirit commanded me to go with them without hesitation. And these six brethren accompanied me. And we entered the man’s house:

15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
15 “Naatu ayu abusuruf ao anan ana maramaim Anun Kakafiyin re targabuwih, anamaim it tatar gabuwit na’atube.
16 Then I remembered the word of the Lord, as he said, John immersed in water, but you shall be immersed in the Holy Spirit.
16 Imaibo ayu Regah abisa eo i anot, ‘John i harewamaim bapataito it, baise kwa boro Anun Kakafiyinamaim bapataito kwanitih.’
17 If, then, God gave them the like gift that he gave to us who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, what was I, that I could withstand God?
17 Imih iti i bebeyan, God siwar ta’imon Ufun Sabuw itih, it Regah Jesu Keriso tabitumitum ana maramaim bitit na’atube. Imih ayu yait God abisa sisinaf boro ata’otan?”
18 And when they heard these things, they ceased to contend; and they glorified God, saying: Then, indeed, has God given to the Gentiles also repentance in order to life.
18 Iti tur hinonowar ana veya hai gamin sawar, God hibora’ara’ah hio, “Turobe. God Ufun Sabuw auman kakafih baihamiyen yawas bain isan hai ef botawiy itih.”
19 Now those who had been dispersed by the persecution that arose after the death of Stephen, traveled as far as Phenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to none but Jews.

23 When he had come, and had seen the grace of God, he rejoiced; and he exhorted them all to remain, with purpose of heart, faithful to the Lord.
