1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments; according to The Sheminith. A Psalm of David.
1 Ó S enhor , não me repreendas em tua ira, nem me disciplines em tua fúria.
2 O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, nor chasten me in thy wrath.
2 Tem compaixão de mim, S enhor , pois estou fraco; cura-me, S
3 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 Meu coração está muito angustiado; S
4 My soul also is sorely troubled. But thou, O LORD--how long?
4 Volta-te, S enhor , e livra-me! Salva-me por causa do teu amor.
5 Turn, O LORD, save my life; deliver me for the sake of thy steadfast love.
5 Pois os mortos não se lembram de ti; quem te louvará da sepultura?
6 For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who can give thee praise?
6 Estou exausto de tanto gemer; à noite inundo a cama de tanto chorar, e de lágrimas a encharco.
7 I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.
7 A tristeza me embaça a vista; meus olhos estão cansados por causa de todos os meus inimigos.
8 My eye wastes away because of grief, it grows weak because of all my foes.
8 Afastem-se de mim, todos vocês que praticam o mal, pois o S
9 Depart from me, all you workers of evil; for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.
9 O S enhor ouviu minha súplica; o S
10 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD accepts my prayer. [ (Psalms 6:11) All my enemies shall be ashamed and sorely troubled; they shall turn back, and be put to shame in a moment. ]
10 Sejam humilhados e aterrorizados todos os meus inimigos; recuem de repente, envergonhados.
