1 A Psalm of David.
1 Ao Senhor pertence a terra e a sua plenitude, o mundo e os que nele habitam.
2 The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein;
2 Porque ele fundou-a sobre os mares e sobre as correntes a estabeleceu.
3 for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.
3 Quem subirá ao monte do Quem há de permanecer no seu santo lugar?
4 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 O que é limpo de mãos e puro de coração, que não entrega a sua alma à falsidade, nem faz juramentos com a intenção de enganar.
5 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.
5 Este receberá do Senhor a bênção e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.
6 He will receive blessing from the LORD, and vindication from the God of his salvation.
6 Esta é a geração dos que o buscam, dos que buscam a face do Deus de Jacó.
7 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. [Selah]
7 Levantem as suas cabeças, ó portas! Levantem-se, ó portais eternos, para que entre o Rei da glória.
8 Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.

9 Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle!
9 Levantem as suas cabeças, ó portas! Levantem-se, ó portais eternos, para que entre o Rei da glória.
10 Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in. [ (Psalms 24:11) Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! [Selah] ]
